My gym contract finished, and I was told the DD payments would automatically cease.
They did not.
I spoke to debit success who hand balled me to the gym who hand balled me back to debit success, continuously.
The gym then said it was upto ME to cancel with debit success and I was to give them a months notice.
I paid the 48.00 and told the gym they need to be more clear to their clients and I told debit success they need to stop harassing people.
Worst company
Worst company to deal with. They love to charge fees for missed payments and boy do they add up. I cancelled my gym membership and they were still charging me a month later. Ended up owing them almost $100 after I had left the gym. I won't join another gym or organisation that use them in future.

If your gym uses DebitSuccess ...RUN!!!!
Absolute terrible thieves that use deceptive conduct to rip of unsuspecting gym members with illegal and false failed direct debit fees. Even if you have funds in your account, DebitSuccess will tell you that the direct debit on your card failed, even if it didn't. That allows Debitsuccess to maliciously charge you $10 on a weekly membership fee if around $15! ABSOLUTE THIEVES!
DebitSuccess does this to everyone and they use this scam as a huge profit centre as they cannot make enough money with the fees they are paid by your gym for their crap service.
This is a deliberate and malicious scam perpetrated on so many gym members who often are not even aware that their card is being debited illegally.
A failed card debit has ZERO cost to DebitSuccess. The $10 so called late fee is in effect a PENALTY fee, which is deemed illegal in Australia.
Here is what the ACCC has to say about these fees;
"In other words, although banks describe various payments as “fees”, for example cheque or direct debit dishonour fees or late payment fees, this does not demonstrate that they are not, in fact, penalties. If such fees are, in fact, penalties at law, they are unenforceable by the banks against their customers."
"Most troublingly, penalty fees can create a debt spiral from which there can be no escape. A
direct debit dishonour leads to a dishonour fee, which places an account further into debit."
DebitSuccess is scamming countless thousands of gym members without their knowledge and raking in huge profits illegally.
Time for a Class Action against DebitSuccess to get back the millions that have been scammed out of bank accounts.

I will rate direct debit 0.5star as I'm one of the gym member from five star fitness 2years ago until now have a chance to say it. I personally DON'T recommend this online charge transaction at all because that time I was away for vacation in another country and before going to holiday was calling the number through direct debit and telling them not to charge my card but they still charge it when I was oversea when checking my bank balance. Back then coming back to QLD and first thing was calling them straight away and the staff just want to push away the problem to the gym that I was in member with. Then the gym was asking me "are you clear with the problem?" I knew it but just can't calm down myself just so angry why I've been pushing away like playing football. Anyway please be consider when explaining to the customer clear and don't let them so disappointed to your action that have shown to be confused and blame another shops awarkdly for refund.

They a pack of money hungry scums who charge mega for missed payments they Don"t have empathy or sympathy especially there No Refund policy needs to be taken off when people have struggled to pay off Rainbows End tickets. Recently last year 2021 i struggled to pay off 2x Rainbows End tickets for myself partner to take our 8 grandchildren to Rainbows End as a family get away as our Country went into full lock down it was frustrating for myself and family i contacted Rainbows End to seek a refund on the grounds of Covid lock down my I my partner grandchildren decided we were not going to be travelling ever to Auckland and rather stay in the lower North island also my partner lpst his job so due to medical conditions the refund will help as we I thru debit success and done time payments i was not entitled to a refund all Rainbows End could only offer a extra 30days after the expiring Rainbows End tickets Date which is not fair. Sad that i my family miss out x2 No Refund and Empathy Sympathy from Debt Success or Rainbows End also with Omicron there still no empathy or sympathy. So i reccomend Debt Success is a unsuccessful company to work with👎👎👎100%

Scammers : Worse service provider to deal with, charging double the amount of actual money. They are stealing money from you because you sign the contract with Jetts where Jetts gym person say something else. Untrained staff, don't know how to do simple accounting. It took them 4 hours to calculate a simple thing, still incorrect.

Horrible company takes money on days it isn't authorised to then charges 12buck dishonour fee. These fees are completely illegal, and I'm fighting for my training company to take payments in a different way, talking to my bank, and alerting the ACCC.
A terrible B2B solution
Completely abhorrent and conscionable behaviour. I won't do business with companies that use this service.
