My mother and I had planned a trip to Loch Ness with Gray Line on Sunday, May 17th. At the last minute they cancelled without warning !
We were angry and disappointed. We found another group right next to us going on a similar excursion and asked if there was still places for the two of us in their minibus. Sandy did everything he could with the tour operator so we could join the adventure. He saved our day literally and was an exemplary tour guide! Funny, knowledgeable, interested, patient, and very dedicated to ensuring his travelers had a memorable day, he was perfect from beginning to end, sharing lots of anecdotes and stories about so many subjects and showing us incredible places! A huge thank you to Sandy and Discover Scotland Tours for allowing us to experience this day in the best possible way!!

Small group of people. Our tour guide was great. We got to see all the main stuff we expected! Would absolutely do it again only instead of a 3 day tour I'd do longer!

Super organisierte Tour zur Isle of Skye mit genügend Zeit bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten! Chris war die ganze Zeit bestens organsiert, freundlich und humorvoll unterwegs. Er ist immer auf Bedürfnisse der Reisegruppe eingegangen und hat auch einen regnerischen Tag auf Skye zu einem magischen Erlebnis verwandelt. Auch unsere Unterkunft in Broadford war einfach nur ein Traum :D
Eines der Highlights waren die kleinen Food-Stops im Nirgendwo wo es richtig guten Kaffee, Schokolade oder Whisky gab. Würde ich immer wieder machen!

We had a really nice 3 day tour on The Isle of Skye. Tony was our tour leader and he was a joy. He was knowledgeable, personable, kind and genuinely fun to spend our time with.
Highly recommend Discover Scotland especially if Tony is your driver!!!

I liked the comfortable coach.
I liked the chosen locations to visit, especially the optional tour boat to Raffin Island to see Fingal’s cave and the puffins.
I think our group could have gotten to know each other better if we’d had a group dinner at some point.
It should have been pointed out to us that we would have to walk back to our accommodation each night from the bus depot in Tobermory. As it was, we had to walk up more than 100 steps to our hotel on two nights after a long day of touring. In my opinion, we should have been dropped off at our hotels.
Our driver/guide was, in my opinion, unprofessional at times and our last day was too long for both the driver and passengers(7:45 am to 7:30 pm back in Glasgow).

Ana bug day trip. Dugald our driver was amazing with commentary and concern for our comfort. Saw way more with a small bus. So glad I booked it. Where else can you see snow and waterfalls in the one view

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with this company. Wee Stevie and Donald made our day such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future! But please let us have wee Stevie again!

We had a wonderful Highlands, Lochs, and Castles tour with Douglas! He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure we had an amazing trip. Going out into the Highlands was high on my wishlist during our visit to Edinburgh, and I couldn’t recommend Discover Scotland Tours any more highly!

My mother and I did the day tour from Glasgow to Loch Ness with Alan (Big Al). We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about Scotland, but we were most impressed with Alan as a tour leader. A little bit about my credibility: I was a tour leader for a year in university, so I performed similar job functions but on a much smaller scale. Alan handled problems with missing group members and disrupting telephone usage quickly, which was much appreciated. Alan has a wealth of knowledge about his homeland and we absorbed a lot of knowledge throughout the van ride, during which he kept us thoroughly entertained and engaged with our surroundings. He is a natural at his work, multitasking between safe driving, schedule-keeping and entertainment. The fact that he has only been on the job for two months (although clearly has a wealth of previously acquired experience, knowledge and skills) is seriously impressive. This is beginning to sound like more of an internal performance review than a review of our experience, but we owe our entire experience to Alan and I wanted to express that thoroughly. We feel very lucky to have had him as our tour leader.

Our Tour Guide also the Driver brought us on a spectacular Scotland Highlands tour. We forgot his name but he kept us entertained during the entire day and he was very informative. There was great traffic jam but he was very patient on the trip. We were lucky the weather was perfect with blue sky and green pastures. We had a minibus with onply around 15 pax. Highly recommended this tour for those with an adventurous heart.

We did the 4-day tour of Highlands and Isle of Skye, and it was terrific. Dave, our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful, and only enhanced the experience. Great photo stops, great activities. When we encountered an accident, company worked to create a new route that was just as interesting! Highly recommend!

Billy did a great job of getting us ahead of the big busses so we avoided the worst of the crowds. It was a great tour and it all operated like clockwork.

Loved the tour! It was only a bit hard to understand with the Scottish accent but it was part of the experience! We recommend it😊

Gary our Guide was amazing and passionate and turned our small group into a little family
He went above and beyond to accomodate everyone and we loved his sense info humour and stories.

I chose this tour because it covered more locations than the other options, and it certainly did not disappoint. The entire trip was very well organized, and we managed to see almost all of the major attractions during the three-day tour.

My main goal was to experience as much of Scotland’s natural beauty as possible, as I was less interested in aspects such as history and distilleries. However, our guide, Steve, made the journey between destinations just as enjoyable as the attractions themselves. Along the way, he shared fascinating historical insights, fun facts, and plenty of interesting stories, giving me a much deeper appreciation of Scotland beyond its landscapes.

As a result, I was able to enjoy the stunning natural sites while also learning about the country’s history and culture, making the experience far more complete and memorable. Steve was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the tour.

Thank you, Wee Steve, for providing such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Discover Scotland Tours and Steve to anyone looking for an enjoyable and well-rounded tour of Scotland.

The 3 day tour for the Highlands, Isle of Skye and Loch Ness tour was absolutely fantastic. Stevie was the best guide and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and safe at all times. The locations visited were exactly as advertised. This company is by far a 5 star company.

Gary did a really good job. We enjoyed his explanations and his Choice of music. We would really book a tour again with discoverscotland .

The tour was well organized and I could not have had a more outstanding tour guide than Kyle from Glasgow. He was the best guide I've EVER had, he went out of his way to make the experience special for our group and curated facts/info based on our individual interests and hobbies. The information he shared was impressive spanning from natural/environmental science, history, and culture. That man is a walking Wikipedia. GIVE KYLE A RAISE!!

I recently did the 3-day tour to Isle of Skye with Discover Scotland and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organised, the scenery was absolutely stunning, and the whole trip was so much fun.

A special thanks to Stevie, our tour guide, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly helpful, fun, and very knowledgeable about the history and places we visited. His energy and storytelling really brought the tour to life and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the journey.

I would highly recommend Discover Scotland to anyone wanting to explore the Highlands and Isle of Skye. It was a memorable trip and definitely one of the highlights of my time in Scotland!

Our guide Karen was excellent! We fit so much into 3 days and she was very knowledgeable and considerate of everyone!
