Great choice of quality doors, really love ours. Easy to contact and very helpful, but I've only given 4 stars, because I thought communication was lacking on the advising of the delivery date.

I was initially very pleased with Door Deals. The ordering process, delivery and quality of the doors were all good, and I would have happily purchased from them again.

Unfortunately, my experience of their after-sales service has completely changed that.

My doors and glazing were delivered on 23 April 2026. The glass remained unopened in its original packaging until the doors were ready to be installed, at which point I discovered that one panel was cracked. I reported this to Door Deals on 4 October, within six months of delivery.

To pre-empt the inevitable response about the time elapsed, I fully acknowledge that I didn't inspect the glass immediately. It had been stored securely until installation, and I contacted the company as soon as the damage was discovered.

However, a company's inspection policy does not override statutory consumer rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, faults identified within the first six months are generally presumed to have been present at delivery unless the retailer can demonstrate otherwise, subject to certain exceptions.

I raised this with Door Deals, but felt that my statutory rights were never meaningfully addressed. Instead, the company maintained its position and offered to supply replacement glass at cost price.

I acknowledge that offer, but ultimately I still had to pay £35 to replace a panel which I believe should have been replaced without charge.

What disappoints me most is the handling of such a relatively minor issue. I wasn't seeking compensation or special treatment, simply a fair resolution to a genuine complaint. I appreciate the company cannot automatically accept responsibility for every reported fault, but I would have expected a more constructive response to the consumer rights I raised.

Ironically, I now need another internal door for my home. Having previously been happy with their products, I would naturally have returned to Door Deals. Instead, I'll be purchasing elsewhere.

Finally, if Door Deals chooses to respond publicly, I'd ask that they spare me the customary "we're sorry to hear you're disappointed" unless they're prepared to address the substance of my complaint. An apology means very little without a willingness to put things right. Refunding the £35 would be a far more meaningful gesture than another carefully worded explanation defending their position.

It's a shame. I was genuinely happy with the products and delivery, but the way a company treats its customers when something goes wrong matters just as much as the products it sells. Unfortunately, Door Deals has lost my confidence and my future business.

Ordered pair of External hemlock pattern 20 doors double glazed to replace existing single glazed doors. Ordering and payment online were easy and straightforward and the order was delivered well within the target time. The frames are of excellent construction; all square and mm perfect to requested dimensions, which is important when it comes to fitting an existing frame because trimming is unlikely to result in a perfect fit! Also the glazing panels fit well into the frames and I’m looking forward to a warmer winter indoors!

Doordeals Would be my number one choice if I ever need to order doors again.

Unfortunately for us we couldn’t open all of our delivery before our renovations started. The 3 week guarantee is way too short, the delivery is 6-8 weeks and you need to order your doors in plenty of time before your work begins.
Both door were damaged before they were unpacked. The external door with a bit of wood missing from one of the window frame and the sliding door was damaged in two places on the side of the door. Because both of these were found after our 3 weeks (there was no time to unpack and safety keep all of the parts) none of these were covered under their policy.

Work gets delayed and people have to be flexible. Nothing was damaged in transit as all of the packaging was undamaged

Doordeals managed to supply a door with a non-standard (i.e. bespoke) fit that I couldn't get elsewhere. It did cost more and took approx 18 weeks to arrive, but they did state it would take that amount of time. They sent a drawing which I had to approve before finalising the order. When the time came, they have their own delivery drivers who are very helpful (or at least my one was). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because some of their auto emails are confusingly worded - but never mind, the reality is that they did supply exactly what was required.

Bought a fire door FD 30. Tried fitting it after the holidays (80 days after buying), which was kept safe inside the house until then. The door turned out to be bent and the outer sheet started coming off. Had to buy another Fire door.

Just had 2 doors delivered by Steve R,he said it was his 1st day working for the company, very professional and helpful, and doors are excellent aswell, simply ordering process and regular updates on delivery times.
