Amazing service from Dpom for my google ads. I own a couple of holiday homes in Brittany, France and wanted to target more UK holidayers who want to self-drive to France for vacation. The ads campaign, although low budget has worked really well and we're getting bookings that we can directly attribute to Google ads.

DPOM Google Ads Management Review — Small Healthcare Business Experience

Hired DPOM (DP Online Marketing) for Google Ads management for my physiotherapy clinic on a 6-month commitment package. While some work was carried out — keyword refinements, ad copy updates — the overall results were disappointing. The campaign ran for over two months without conversion tracking, which I had to set up myself. When I raised this, I was told that under their contract (Clause 5.2), conversion tracking is the customer's responsibility — not the agency's. This surprised me, as I was paying for what I thought was a fully managed service.
Emails raising performance concerns went unanswered for weeks. I ended up personally making significant improvements to the account that I was paying a professional agency to handle. When I cancelled, the portal showed April as my last payment, but I was told I still had to pay for two more months under the commitment. Under DPOM's terms, the commitment is binding regardless of service quality, and no refunds are offered.
If you are a small business considering DPOM, read the contract very carefully — especially the clauses on conversion tracking responsibility and cancellation. Ask exactly what "managed service" includes. The discount on commitment plans comes at the cost of flexibility if the service does not meet your expectations.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to address a few points for balance.

You voluntarily selected a 6-month commitment, which comes with a reduced rate specifically because Google Ads
campaigns need time to mature. We are transparent during onboarding that results typically take 3-6 months,
which is standard across the PPC industry. Your own review confirms you gave the campaign approximately two
months.

If you give us less time than we say we need from the start, you will always be disappointed.

Regarding conversion tracking, we do set this up as part of our service. However, conversion tracking lives on
your website, not in Google Ads. If changes are made to your site, plugins are updated, or code is removed,
tracking can break through no fault of ours. We have no control over your website environment. Our terms reflect
this because it would be unreasonable to hold any agency accountable for a client's own website changes.

On communication, we have provided you with a full communications log showing consistent contact throughout your
time with us. The suggestion that emails went unanswered for weeks is simply not supported by the record.

The commitment terms were agreed upfront and are clearly stated in the contract. They exist precisely because
short campaign windows do not give PPC enough time to deliver, which is unfortunately what has happened here. We
cannot offer refunds for a service that was actively managed but not given the runway it needed.

This company harasses you with spam email, called up and spoke to Lee, he said he would stop that spam, still going, I have now reported this to an ICO company and if it carries on I’ll be suing for harassment

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback - though I'd like to gently set the record straight.

Our records show you submitted an enquiry through our website on 23 February requesting a quote for Google Ads management. We sent the quote you asked for, which you opened and viewed on 13 March, followed by a short series of
standard follow-up emails - the same process every enquiry goes through.

As soon as you asked to stop hearing from us, you were unsubscribed. Unfortunately a technical issue caused two follow-up reminders to slip through afterwards, which shouldn't have happened, and we're genuinely sorry for that.
The issue has now been fixed, every trace of your details has been permanently removed from our system, and you won't hear from us again.

We'd never label responding to a customer's own enquiry as spam, but we do take your frustration seriously.

We have not had a good experience with…

We have not had a good experience with this company but in retrospect what do you expect when they charge £295.00 per month, a failed experiment for us. We thought they utilised technology to automate some of the PPC management and pass on the benefit to their customers but still get the insight of an experienced person but this does not seem to be case. What they are good at is signing up customers and having an automated cancellation and collections process. In our experience they are not good at looking after your PPC - the performance on our account dropped significantly compared to when we managed it ourselves and we had to contact our account manager twice just to ask him to have a look and try and reverse the performance. They also only made 23 changes over a 90 day period which does not feel like value for money even if only £295.00 per month. When we fed this back and explained we were cancelling the agreement the reply justifying the performance was astonishing. If you are a small company dipping you toe into the PPC world for the first time on a small budget then DPOM could be a cost effective solution. If you have a larger budget then I would look for a different solution - you get what you pay for.

UPDATE
Thanks for the reply which is exactly the same as the reply you gave before. It reflects how little time you spent understanding our business and seasonality - the period you are comparing is not a reflection of you work. To put into context the period from 1/1/25 to 12/3/25 when we were running our campaigns compared to the same period this year when you were - the CPA doubled and the number of conversions fell by 20%.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We always welcome the opportunity to address concerns, though we do feel it's important to provide some context for anyone reading this.

Regarding account performance: your final monthly report showed a 36% increase in conversions compared to the previous period. We're proud of that result, and it's difficult to reconcile with the suggestion that performance "dropped
significantly." We're happy for anyone to ask us to evidence this.

On the subject of "23 changes in 90 days" - we'd respectfully point out that PPC management isn't measured by volume of changes. A single strategic bid adjustment or negative keyword refinement can take considerable research and
analysis. Making changes for the sake of inflating a number would actually be detrimental to your account. Every change we made was deliberate and data-driven, which is exactly why conversions increased.

Regarding our cancellation and collections process: we have a standard invoicing procedure with multiple reminders before any account is referred to collections. This only applies to overdue invoices where previous communications have
gone unanswered. We don't think any business would operate differently, and we wouldn't expect our clients to provide their services without payment either.

We wish you the best with your future PPC management and we're sorry we weren't the right fit.

Honestly can't rate Lee highly enough! We were totally clueless about PPC when we started and he's been so patient explaining everything. Our leads have gone through the roof and we actually understand what's happening now. If you're on the fence, just give them a call - you won't regret it!

Unhelpful from the start.

Unhelpful from the start. They are only bothered about pushing more costly products on to you. I canceled within 14 days realising that this was not for me and yet they still took all my money with zero option of any refund. Not forgetting the next months payment too. Shocking.
Thank you for your response. I too have all communications filed and I will be seeking legal help on this matter to retrieve my money. Please re read the title. Zero help from the start. I raised concerns within days. Please read your emails. The Only emails I received from this point were directing me towards spending more funds on services I did not require. Zero help or advice around my concerns were answered.
Yes I made an error in buying the specific product and quickly realised this, however given the experts that you are, one would have thought that you would have recognised this and brought it to my attention. We could then have moved to the correct product. Surely you want success for your customers.

I am a small business and if I responded to customers like you have then I would find myself unemployed. Yes clear contract. Everything in writing, but there was no customer service or product/service produced when I needed it and I’m not sure what you could have been working on given it wasn’t right for my business.

We are the most transparent digital marketing agency in the UK. Our terms are published on our website, included in every quote, and even displayed here on our Trustpilot profile.

There’s no fine print, no hidden clauses, just complete clarity.

Our terms clearly state that services operate on a monthly rolling basis with a 31-day notice period, and work begins immediately upon agreement.

This isn’t a free trial. This isn’t a “see if I like it” arrangement. This is a professional service where real people do real work on your account from day one, which is exactly what happened. You don’t get to consume the service and then demand your money back because you changed your mind. That’s not how business works.

The 14-day cooling-off period doesn’t apply to bespoke services already commenced. That’s not our policy, that’s UK law.

“Pushing costly products”? Name one. We’ll wait.

“Unhelpful from the start”? We started working on your account immediately. What you actually mean is we were unhelpful when you demanded a refund you weren’t entitled to.

In fact, we explicitly tell people in our documentation: do not sign up unless you’re prepared to give it at least three months. We couldn’t be clearer about this. Digital marketing isn’t magic. It takes time. If you’re expecting miracles in a fortnight, you’re setting yourself up to fail. Which is exactly what’s happened here.
