The car is fine, but........
The car is fine. But I was pressured into buying more insurance, at £30 per day, despite telling them and showing them that I had already paid for insurance. The guy on the desk mumbled and muttered and wouldn't give up. I showed him the email confirmation I had for the insurance but he insisted I needed to upgrade. An extra £180 for a £10 daily car hire fee. Unacceptable, and I will be taking it up with my credit card company.n

This was my second time to rent a car…
This was my second time to rent a car from Drivalia and I couldn’t fault them, the car was perfect and the two men on reception were so helpful and pleasant, will definitely use this company again and rate them highly

Didn't get flight as planned was booked…
Didn't get flight as planned was booked on next flight 6 hours later called to advise was going to pick up car 6 hours later. When arrived at Bristol was met with the most ignorant advisor I have encountered .Told car might not be available eventually got car and charged £120 for late pick up considering car was only £70.00 to hire total robbery only because I needed to be get to my destination paid in fairness car was fine but won't use again.

Good service , friendly staff, nice product, great price! Everything as agreed , all documents issued by email at time of pick up and drop off. Very happy, would use again without a second thought .

Avoid Drivalia - Gross negligence & Terrible Service
Avoid Drivalia. Rented a car for 11 days (London → Dorset → Bristol). Three days in, a front tyre blew out on the motorway. AA confirmed both front tyres were bald, showing clear lack of maintenance. Despite our rental covering this, Drivalia’s hotline was unreachable for 40+ minutes and we were left stranded late at night, forced to pay for towing and multiple Ubers.
Even after tyres were replaced, warning lights remained. When we raised safety concerns and requested a replacement vehicle, Drivalia blamed us, disputed photo evidence, questioned the AA’s credibility, and tried to charge £100 just to collect the unsafe car — plus additional relocation fees later. Communication was poor and charges kept escalating.
This was stressful, expensive, and unsafe. I cancelled my card due to lack of trust. Do not recommend — extremely poor customer service and vehicle safety standards.

Absolutely dreadful experience in every…
Absolutely dreadful experience in every possible way!
Confirmation stated shuttle service- there was none!
Reception service very poor - very long wait with all customers in waiting room being very dissatisfied.
Cars were not prepared and ready for collection. Had to wait for the clean/quick wash to take place.
Vehicle inspection/ explanation substandard to other renatal companies that I’ve used
Was advised that the £1500 deposit on my credit card would take 28days after vehicle inspection to be emiminatated and this was despite having paid for the ‘platinum’ insurance extra payment.
I generally have the feeling of being ‘ripped off’.
A very unsatisfactory experience. I would definitely not recommend.

Highly Recommended
The location is just a short walk from the airport but the prices are better for not having to pay airport fees.
I was delighted with the car but, most importantly
Collection and return was very easy
But most of all I was delighted with Drivalia’s people:
A gentleman with a South African accent who at check in, despite the teaming rain, the long queue of customers continued efficiently while keeping his calm and being friendly; quite a feat
A lady from Toledo Spain who was equally efficient and friendly.
To the Drivalia CEO – these two are keepers. Look after them well please

Great service
Today I picked up my hire car from Bristol airport, I was greeted by name by a very polite and helpful gentleman (Mark ) who was on loan from another depot (Gatwick). He took the time to show me around the car explain were things were and generally was a credit to your company.
I’m a returning customer and highly recommend using your company never had a problem and the service is second to none.
