I only booked in to have a procedure with Dr Wakil due to the positive reviews he had received but on further analysis these reviews look dubious - let me explain. On Trust Pilot the vast majority of reviews are from individuals who have never posted before, which is unusual and on the few occasions where an individual has posted more than once, that review is for a product that the reviewer has also given five stars. For example, on Trust pilot on the 30th December 2024 Ines posted a five-star review about dr sw clinics. Ines has one other review - a five-star review for a company called Car Service History, posted on the 20th December. On the 30th December 2024 a completely different reviewer called Theodore posted a five-star review about dr sw clinics and on the 19th December also posted a five-star review about the same car company. This seems absurdly unlikely that two different patients who have only posted two reviews would have had a procedure with the same surgeon and a service from the same car company only days apart. This is not just a one off - on the 17th December 2024 Olivia Marriot posted a five-star review about dr sw clinics and on the 27th November, she posted a five-star review about Weatherseal Windows LTD. Also, on the 17th December Lucas Fletcher posted a five-star review about dr sw clinics and also on the 27th November posted a five-star review for Weatherseal Windows LTD. In total there are 12 - very negative one-star reviews, only one 2, 3 or 4-star reviews - yet 134 five-star reviews. On average there are 10 - 20 five-star reviews posted each month, which seems a lot considering the clinics opening hours and there being only one principal practitioner. It is a moral and probably clinical offence to post false reviews.

On a separate matter and in response to the reply of my last review - Everyone gets sick - but why didn’t you just tell me this - rather than keeping me in the dark of 5 hours. This is extremely unprofessional

It is also not true that Dr Wakil or his clinic made an effort to contact me after the procedure - far from it. I made three separated telephone calls requesting a meeting or conversation with Dr Wakil, who was unavailable. I made it extremely clear that I was worried about the results of the procedure and sought his help. It is only after consulting with three separate dermatologist, and at their prompting, I have to sought to raise this issue once again.

re. your comment about Tixel - why an earth did you accept my booking for Tixel when you already knew that you could not offer it. I knew exactly what treatment I was after and explained this clearly on booking the procedure and you seemed very happy to take my money.

There was a wait, however the team are so friendly and the procedure went well.

Hi my experience thus far has been excellent, the staff are knowledgeable and caring about the treatment I am going through which puts one at ease.

I recently had a non-surgical blepharoplasty at Dr. SW Clinics, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Dr. Wakil was incredibly professional and took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly, making me feel comfortable and well-informed. His expertise and approach put my mind at ease.

I also want to mention Hiba, the patient advisor, who was fantastic throughout the process. She was friendly, attentive, and always available to answer my questions, which made the experience much smoother.

Overall, I highly recommend Dr. SW Clinics for anyone considering this procedure. The combination of Dr. Wakil's skill and the team support made for a seamless and positive experience. I'm thrilled with the results!

Dr Sherif Wakil is a magician. He has helped me to stop the ageing process and now I look 20 years younger.
He is helped by great assistants like Hiba who listen at the client and give the best possible service.
I think it is the best aesthetic clinic in London and in the UK.

I was concerned about my hooded upper eyelids and bags under my eyes, which made me look constantly tired. I have just had the Plexr non-surgical blepharoplasty and am absolutely delighted with the result. The procedure was exactly as described and Dr Wakil and his staff were all tremendously helpful and redponsive to all my questions. I would highly recommend this treatment.

Dr Wakil and the team at Dr SW Clinics are all amazing, knowledgeable and really lovely. I have been to a number of aesthetic practitioners and Dr Wakil is above all of them. He listens but is always honest as to what he thinks is beneficial given his experience. I love his honesty, but more importantly his welcome. He always makes you feel the most important patient. Dreadful money grabbing , most unreliable people . Avoid this company at all costs

I had the pleasure of visiting the clinic and was attended by Isha. The atmosphere was exceptional welcoming. My treatment was conducted flawlessly, and I was throughly impressed by the entire team's professionalism. Isha, in particular, demonstrated an outstanding level of care and customer service. Thank you Dr SW for assembling such a remarkable team at your clinic.

WHAT FELT LIKE A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE
Absolutely do not recommend! If I can offer anyone advice, it’s to stay far away from this place.

I should have paid attention to the other negative reviews, but the discounted offer swayed me into booking. It was the worst decision I’ve ever made. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. They’re happy to take your money and then completely disregard you afterward.

I had the ALURION BALLOON procedure, and initially, the staff seemed nice. However, once I arrived for my procedure, everything changed. The nurse was rushed and unprofessional, which made me feel anxious. I asked for my sister to be present during the procedure for support, but Dr. Sharif was dismissive and patronising, making no effort to calm me down.

The level of medical negligence I experienced was shocking and needs to be reported to the CQC. After the balloon insertion, I received no in clinic care despite facing severe issues. I experienced extreme vomiting and nausea for three days, far worse than the "mild side effects" I had been warned about. Despite their promise of a 24/7 on-call nurse, I couldn’t get hold of anyone. The medication that was recommended caused me to vomit, yet Dr. Sharif made no effort to adjust or change it. Eventually the vomiting had stopped but the discomfort was very much there. After one month, my condition worsened, and I was rushed to A&E with agonising stomach cramps.

The hospital surgeons had no choice but to removing the balloon due to the pain I was in. Days after my discharge, I finally received a message from the nurse, who was more concerned about how I got her number than about my condition. There was no compassion, she completely disregarded my well-being.

I was never warned about this particular complication during the consultation or in the consent forms. When I asked for a refund due to the serious health issues I faced, they ignored me for months, only to later inform me that I wouldn’t be getting my money back.

This establishment is a disgrace and should be shut down. I will be taking legal action.

Worst doctor and clinic I've been to. Kept waiting for nearly 1 hour 45 mins. He wants to be an actor and kept asking about my agent! Left with bleeding chest and terrible bruising. Feel shaken.

I had very bad experience with Dr. SW , he doesn’t care about clients I had injected in my P….. Now i am suffering more than before treatment. I told him about issue but useless its just waste of time and money. Be careful

You wouldn't want to go anywhere else if you go to Dr SW Clinics for treatments, the experience from A to Z by Dr Sherif is outstanding.

Being Harley Street, had great hopes for a good result. No. I had Plepharoplasy on my eyes in the hope of better eyelids. It was suggested I had my under eyes done as well. Mistake. They have never recovered 4 months on. Still red and swollen. Unfortunately, I was taken in on my check up to have a Fat transfer from my belly to face. Sounded simple and pain-free. No, again I was told 1 to 3 days swelling. 7 days on my eyes are worse than ever. £7,500 later. Definitely not impressed. Don't be taken in by what they say at beginning of treatment. I could go on. In fact I will. I was telephoned on the morning of procedure. I was asked what would I like for lunch. After giving my order. No lunch? Just a ploy to get my final payment. Never again. Still waiting for call to see how I'm recovering and to offer a appointment to check results.

I received fantastic advice from Dr Wakil followed by an efficient appointment booking and simple and clear care throughout the process. I'm absolutely delighted with my results, more for my boost in confidence than anything else.

In January 2023 I had the plexr treatment here which was an awful experience. Firstly the doctor was really rude and intimidating when performing the surgery when I was in excruciating pain. The pain I felt was unbearable and the treatment is advertised as pain free. The doctor offered to give me a numbing injection without telling me any side affects. It turned one eye so large my other eye was small. I had to remain like this for 3 weeks and could not leave my house without wearing a hat. I was very worried because the downtime advertised is 14 days however this took over a month for the swelling to go down. Now I thought I would get results from all this torture however nothing! I was left with scaring and dark eyes please see photos. Till this day my eyes have trauma and are dark . I’ve been constantly asking for a refund and this firm has failed to refund me. I will now be taking them to court. Please see all photos attached and save yourself the time do not get plexr or any treatment here! Don’t be fooled by the reviews, you’ll be waiting in the waiting area for hours before being seen and that was my biggest red flag however I stayed for the treatment.
