Unbelievably good service!
I can’t believe how good the service is. I ordered in the afternoon and it arrived the next morning. I almost fell over when I saw the Dyke and Dean box in the postman’s hands. Gorgeous products, flawless service.
Check prices elsewhere before buying...
I've ordered from Dyke & Dean a few times over the last year or two and have been pretty satisfied with their service. My recent order has, however, cast doubt of their pricing and value of some of their items. I ordered a 'peg' fitting and LED bulb, thinking these were fairly high-quality items due to the price - £58.50 for the fitting and £45 for the bulb. When these items arrived, it was clear they were fairly cheap products - the bulb was Osram brand and the fitting was a small piece of plastic and metal. When I then checked these online, I found the identical fitting for £12.00 from Creative Cables and the bulb for £15. I also returned a couple of wall lamps that were 'off the shelf' brand and half price elsewhere. However, I would sincerely like to know how Dyke & Dean can justify charging £58.50 for a fitting that is £12.00 elsewhere online! Because of this experience, I really don't trust that they are value for money and I don't think I'll be buying from them again. Thankfully I was able to return those items from my order and save £100 ordering them elsewhere...

Outstanding customer service
Very impressed with this company. Customer service was second to none. I ordered 3 products, thinking they were same colour, was contacted to let me know they weren't so that I could choose others instead. Most companies would have just send it our regardless. Very quick shipping, arrived next day and products are beautiful and just what we wanted. Thank you!

Disappointing experience
Ordered a sink and pedestal back in July, paid £1,500 as soon as the order was placed. We were informed at the time that the product was coming from Italy and would be at least 12 weeks given the issues with summer shutdown. To cut a long story short at 19 weeks post order I have been told that the factory do not know if they can even make the sink and will know in January. Dyke and Dean have correctly issued a full refund however my issue is any communication was prompted by me asking where the order was. If buying anything I would speak to them direct to confirm that they can actually supply the product you want. Not directly their fault however if you curate products for sale to the public and take money upfront you need to be assured that the supplier can actually provide the goods.
Bad bulbs, bad customer service
Bought lights and bulbs from Dyke and Dean as part of a refurbishment, choosing LED bulbs for longevity. Lights are what I was hoping for and working well but one bulb failed after about 4 weeks. Having had an electrician check it was the bulb not another issue, Dyke and Dean’s response was “bulbs sometimes fail” and to offer 20% off another of their bulbs. For a £14 bulb, I expect not only a better bulb but much better customer service

Not a great first experience
Not a great first experience. Bought a flour sifter as a gift, as in the picture it looked Dyke & Dean branded version (it turns out they added their logo just for the picture and I needed to have read the description more clearly to realise). Cost me £20 and when it arrived it turned out to have no branding and be identical to the £9 version on EBay. Said they wouldn't price match and it was up to me to return if I wanted a refund. Initial response was polite but subsequent email was very aggressive.

Disappointing waste of money
Bought an expensive soap dispenser and bracket, but neither look great and the holes to fix the dispenser to the wall are so low it bends away from the wall with the weight of the bottle. I wonder how long it will hold. The screw covers split instantly as well. The bottle has an uneven waxy type base which doesn’t look smart at all. Really disappointing.

The service was super quick, ordered late Sun evening and received Tuesday morning - Wow! The parcel was well wrapped and the product is sturdy with gold cover for the screws and it was competitively priced. I looked at the specification stated for the neck of the bottle to make sure it was compatible as I had already bought it and it fitted perfectly. The only down side is rather than being gold or brass coloured it looks more like rose gold, which is disappointing as everything else is gold. Looks like I will have to get the brass/gold spray paint out. If it hadn't been for the off colour I woud have given 5 stars.

Technical misinformation
I spoke to them on the phone to ask a specific product question about the power feed on a bathroom light switch.
They assured me the power fed through the centre on the back of the switch, as I needed.
It arrived, and it doesn’t, it enters to the edge, not the centre.
I’ve called and left a message to contact me for a full refund of product and postage.
It’s been 5 days and I haven’t had a response.
Great robust product
Finally something that doesn’t feel like it’s going to break within 2 mins of use, very Nograteful to find items that keep a long time, especially as I’m trying to limit my waste footprint. This plant mister is robust and made mainly from steel. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, ceramic toilet roll holders arrived the next day.
Some communication problems...
We love the item, but it took nearly four weeks to arrive! The tracking was farmed out to an app, which wouldn't work on a phone without any email access.
Contacting Dyke and Dean is very hit-and-miss: an initial enquiry about the suitability of the item got no response. Are you only open a few hours a day?
Good service - average product
Recently purchased a glass soap pump and wall bracket from D&D. Arrived promptly, but not a good product. Not sure how this reflects other D&D product choices.
