Booking a DJ for our wedding with EarCandy was really easy. They arranged the DJ and payments with us in the lead up to the wedding and made sure he had all of the information he needed before getting in touch with us.

We wanted to have a great party at our wedding and Sevi and Claire definitely delivered!

Sevi was fantastic to communicate with from start to finish, always responded to messages really quickly and answered any questions we had. They arrived with plenty of time which meant we didn't have to stress about them potentially getting stuck in traffic! Unfortunately our timings ran over slightly which meant less time to get everything turned around for the evening but Sevi and Claire managed to get the equipment set up so quickly and it all looked great.

We'd discussed our music taste with Sevi beforehand and the music flowed brilliantly. We'd kept the saxophonist a surprise for our guests which they absolutely loved! Claire really got involved and played on the dancefloor with all the guests which was excellent! A few of the guests had requested some alternative genres and Sevi checked with us that we were happy to deviate from the music we had requested, which we were! The guests were so happy that they could request their own music to dance to and it kept everyone dancing for a little bit longer! The dancefloor wasn't empty for a moment (apart from when the evening food came out!) and everyone was gutted when the evening came to an end - we just wanted to dance all night long!

Sevi and Claire made our wedding reception such a good party and we would highly recommend them to anyone else getting married!

Would also highly recommend using EarCandy as it made booking entertainment so easy and stress-free.

Black and Gold were amazing - they kept the dance floor full all night. Lisa has such an incredible voice! Communication with ear candy was good from the start. Only negative was the sound engineer arrived late and had not had time to set up with the band prior to our first dance so there was an unexpected gap between the first dance and the bands first set.

Motown Gold were just incredible. Their professionalism, the quality of their sound and their performances on the night were all outstanding. They made our wedding day. People were on the dance floor from beginning to end. Every bride and groom need a band like this.

DJ Matt was very accommodating for our music tastes. We gave him the entire playlist as we know what we like and he did a great job reading the room playing them. Everyone had a great dance along (to our wicked music choices ;) ).

I can't rate Motown Gold highly enough. The band were firstly, extremely responsive and accommodating of our requests. They pitched the set list perfectly, setting the scene early in the performance and then ramping up the energy to a final crescendo for the last set. A truly fabulous performance, and one which made a perfect end to my daughter's wedding day. I would definitely book them again, and would recommend to anyone looking for a band to give a superbly professional performance.

If I could give zero I would. Our wedding is next week, the call to finalise things last month with a member of staff was the most unprofessional call I’ve ever had. She admitted she was going through a car wash, and then has had the audacity to ask us to clarify our details multiple times. If she was professional and focused on her job this would have been completely unnecessary. The DJ rang us and tried to extort more money out of us, because he clearly had not been told what we wanted. We uploaded a playlist to the portal of music we like (think fleetwood Mac and artic monkeys) and then he told us he would play happy hardcore. They said they would source an alternative DJ for us and now they are saying they are trying to swap with someone else so clearly don’t have another DJ. We started this booking last year, I am in floods of tears worried we will have no DJ or we will have someone who will spoil the day. I’ve rung and got hung up on today and I’ve rung again and left a message. I am honestly fuming and would advise everyone avoid this company like the plague. I’ve seen other s have awful experiences and apparently this is the only way to get a response. A company that cares more about their PR than their customers. One person who has been helpful is but he is clearly at a loss and knows he has nothing to offer us as a solution to this issue. I’ve now seen other reviewers where the DJ didn’t even turn up.

Damon was our DJ and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!
We had a call before the wedding and confirmed all the essential info. Then at the wedding every one of our requests was played at some point and he took guest requests as well. The dancefloor was full the whole night and everyone said how good the DJ was.
He was even flexible when we had to delay the start time a little due to a dress issue before our first dance.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a DJ at their event or wedding.

The whole earcandy experience was nothing short of amazing. When planning our wedding, people said the 2 most important things to get right are the food and the music. My job, was sorting the music. After a Google search I came across ear candy and the communication, initial calls and package options we're just what I was looking for.

I did get a little nervous in the build up having not met the Dj or heard any music, but I had a great call with DJ Damon about a week before the day and we talked about the sort of set I was looking for. We talked playlists, timings and shared ideas.

Fast forward to the night... Damon is the best wedding DJ I've ever come across. Period. I lived and worked in a pub for nearly 20 years and I've seen more DJs I could ever count. If you want a DJ that "gets it", reads the room, gives you ideas and does everything to get the people dancing a night.. Damon is your man.

I've had nothing but compliments since about the music. The father in law summed it up..."The DJ had people dancing and the place rocking from after the first dance to the very end!"

Lisa and Black & Gold where amazing at our wedding. Everyone commented on how good they all were and very professional. Our special request for our first dance was learnt especially for us and it was perfect. Lisa communicated with us before the big day to
check we were happy with the music choices and also the details for the sound engineer for inbetween the live sets. We loved every minute!! Thank you so much x

I can’t recommend Earcandy enough, and Black and Gold in particular! They were so professional and organised and a joy to work with, and were so supportive through all the changes during the pandemic. The music at our evening reception was faultless and we had the time of our lives! So many people commented on the music and Lisa (lead singer) in particular, and they kept the dance floor full all night! They sang our first dance song and made it so special. Highly recommend!

We used Earcandy for our Cheshire wedding in August. It was really easy to work with Earcandy, who stayed in touch throughout the process. They also made it very easy to move dates, as we had to postpone the wedding twice. Our chosen DJ, Kevin, was absolutely excellent. He worked with our music choices and curated an amazing evening of music which all our guests loved. Would highly recommend.

Jake DJ’ed for our wedding and he was absolutely great. Everyone was raving about how good the music was the next day. He was really communicative before to make sure he knew our music tastes. I would definitely recommend him!

I booked a DJ via earcandy for our wedding on august the 8th. The communications via earcandy and the initial booking process was really easy and the personal approach was one of the reasons we went with them over competition. On the night we got Kev Williams who was fantastic, you could tell he really loved DJing and had just as much fun as our guests, really read the room well and played to our tastes perfectly. Massive thanks to Kev from Tom & Vicky for making our day extra special!

We got married on the 9/8/21 at alfreton hall we booked Earcandy DJ and saxophone player as a package and also upgraded! Wow they didn’t let me down got everything one up and dancing and especially the saxophone 🎷 player which I loved was AMAZING would definitely recommend these what a night thank you so much 5 stars for you love mrs clarke x

After losing our original DJ booking due to postponing our wedding, we were so thankful to find EarCandy. Communication was great (make sure you check your junk emails as some responses did go here!) and the invoice process was seamless.

We had DJ Kev on the night and he was fantastic. He contacted us a week before to chat through playlists and music genres. We created a Spotify playlist of around 50 songs which we shared with Kev and he ensured he had all those available on the night.

On the actual night, Kev read the room really well and ensured the dance floor was never empty - he even played some Turkish songs and was happy to take requests as the night progressed. All our guests were raving about the music on the night - so well done Kev!

We booked Earcandy for our wedding in July and had a DJ (Kev Williams) and a saxophone and drums.

Firstly, Kev was absolutely insane!! He read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He took requests and loved every second of the night like all of our guests! He gives the room a ‘feel good’ vibe and we loved him!

The saxophone player was really quiet and could have done with a microphone on the sax. I was a little gutted with this as I was so excited and felt like it didn’t do it justice!

Communication with Earcandy was a little bit hit and miss because you spoke to different people every time but Kev (DJ) took all my niggles away because he was just amazing!! Thank you Kev! 5 stars for you!!

We had Dennias as our DJ for our wedding. He was excellent, playing exactly the type of music we had asked for and kept the dancefloor filled!

We cant recommend Ear Candy enough, our contact Kyle was always prompt to reply to all our enquries, the online portal was striaght forward to navigate and our DJ and Musicians were incredibly good!

We hired Motown Gold and a DJ Kev Williams through EarCandy for our wedding in July. Staff at EarCandy were very helpful but sometimes communication was a bit slow and we were sometimes dealing with different people so it was a bit confusing at times. Having said that, the band and Kev were brilliant and kept our guests on the dance floor all night long with some great “floor fillers”.
We wouldn’t hesitate to use EarCandy again and would definitely recommend them.

We hired the DJ and Sax combo for our wedding, we were really hoping it would create an amazing atmosphere and they did not disappoint!

A week before our wedding DJ Matt Wells called me and introduced himself and asked me about the music genres we wanted, and agreed set up times and details.

On the day, Matt sought us out and let us know he had arrived. He instantly got the party going, and thankfully he read the room with the music choices, as I realised I'd got it wrong when specifying the genres I wanted, Matt played the music that suited the crowd much better and got people moving for the whole four hours.

He played right up until the last minute, and was the last person to leave the venue! Fantastic service.
