When we hired Earcandy we got informed that we would have an events coordinator to support us with all enquiries. In fact, we were pass by one to another person and sometimes no answers were provided. One of our enquiries took 3 weeks to be answered. And this is because our wedding coordinator also called and chased. We receive contacts for the duo we hired just in the week of the wedding, because they were not responsive, and the dj was given to us 2 weeks prior. It was a nightmare. I would never recommend the Earcandy services.
The dj we had, we provided him with our full list of songs and we mentioned to him to play 70% of the time our songs and just 30% he could play whatever he desired but just from mainstream songs. It was 11pm and people thought the wedding was ending as the songs were to send people away. I had to intervene and tell him to just play our sequence. People were back to the dancefloor and stay until the end of the event.

I believe they tried contact me by phone and as I am not in UK my phone is off. I haven’t received any EMAILS requesting to revert back

2. When I hired Earcandy duo it was guaranteed that I would have bossa nova, the person I was in contacted, confirmed this by phone repeatedly. I was just made aware about the difficulties in the wedding week. When I hired the service months in advance

3. Our guests are party people, but it was an overall feedback that the dj was playing music to end the party. They were neither mainstream neither guests requests. By 11PM, many people left as they thought the party was ending when party went until 1am

4. When planning a wedding 3 weeks it is not acceptable to have an emailed replied

The band were excellent and the lead vocalist was amazing. The whole event was extremely professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending them along with Kaz, who was the sound engineer. Well done and I hope you and your band enjoyed the evening.

Jai DJ’ed our company Christmas party. He was receptive to the music requests we had and read the tone of the party well to keep people dancing. Communication was smooth throughout the whole process. I would recommend Jai to everyone

Ridhi weds Greg 21.11.21. We cannot say any bigger thank you to Damon and his beautiful wife, anymore than words can express (which isn’t enough). We have them the most difficult ;P challenge of having a fusion wedding of Indian/Bhangra, Scottish, English and all round music to go with the crowd and they took that challenge above and beyond, giving us the most incredible and amazing night. We could not recommend Damon enough as a DJ but most importantly as a whole round, genuinely grounded person. He was patient, caring, calming (especially when I had a mini panic attack after performing a song, despite having stage fright, in front of many many people. Damon DJ and Scott Sax played our wedding and they were absolutely amazing!! Couldn’t fault anything. Everyone enjoyed the evening and said how good our wedding entertainment was. 100% recommend :)

James was very helpful arranging Motown Gold for our wedding and sticking within our budget. I can’t wait to hear them live on the day!

We can't thank Motown Gold enough for the incredible contribution they made to our wedding reception back in September.
They were absolutely fabulous, sounded incredible, looked and performed so professionally and we sang and danced the night away!
We would highly recommend them and wish we could do it all again!

Our Earcandy Wedding DJ Kev was great!
He got the dancefloor going, took requests and was able to help fill out our playlist with songs that were suitable for the dancefloor. 5 stars!

Lovely DJ Dennias.
Came and prepared well in advance. Really nice man and kept the party going.
Good equipment and packed away speedily and well.
Coped with many drunken request too!

We found earcandy online and originally had a positive experience although as time went on we found communication was poor due to multiple people contacting us causing confusion over payments as there was a change to our booking as we wanted to add the sax alongside the DJ, this despute was sorted with some effort and many emails later. Also the online portal was not great as deleted songs various times we has spent hours picking. Despite this Kev our DJ was very enthusiastic which was a breath of fresh air, he played all the requests we asked as much as he could due to the delays from our wedding, we had a sax alongside which really made the atmosphere. We had multiple guests complimenting his personality. We had an amazing night. Thank you so much from the new Mr and Mrs Brown!

Just wanted to say a huge Thank you! Motown Gold were amazing and our guests were so impressed! They were brilliant! Earcandy were very helpful and patient in the build up to the wedding.

5 stars to DJ MATT who was amazing!!! He had the whole Wedding on the dancefloor!!! Even people that said they don't usually dance at Weddings were up on the dancefloor! We didn't want the night to end! Highly reccommend him!!!

As for the sax player and bongo drummer (As went for the DJ sax and beats package) they were a little quiet and I didn't feel as though they were noticeable enough for the premium we paid for them.

Also we did loose half an hour of our music and did our first dance late due to the team arriving late.

Jake DJ’d at my 50th birthday. The music was excellent as was the atmosphere. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night including the bar staff who stood in front of the bar to join the fun for a couple of songs.
The sax player did not come which was a real shame but they were ill.

The whole ear candy experience from start to finish was great, even in a pandemic with a wedding postponement and so much uncertainty.
Lisa and the guys from Black and Gold were outstanding. They created a brilliant party atmosphere at our wedding, with everybody on the dance floor! Lisa has an outstanding voice, and our guests really connected with the music choices and vibe. Thank you!

We booked Motown Gold and DJ Kev Williams for our wedding in September.

Motown Gold were absolutely brilliant and our guests have been raving about them ever since the day! They played a great set and we were so grateful for how everything ran so smoothly on the day.

We also booked A DJ with earcandy, and thank god we got DJ Kev! Kev rang us the week of the wedding to understand the details of the day, what kind of music we were into, which songs we wanted him to play and the nature of the guest list for the purposes of planning his set. Kev played a brilliant set and everyone was dancing right until the end.

We were so grateful for how brilliant they both were and couldn’t recommend them enough.
