They get 2 stars for the refund only!

Truly terrible customer service.
Never on the product listing did it say it was out of stock. Never was I told (until I chased) that it was on back order. Multiple email replies always promised the same thing, "it has been ordered from the manufacturer" but then.... radio-silence, no updates, just vague promises when pressed for an update. 2 months after the order I gave up, and asked for a refund, which to their credit was processed quickly.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication! I ordered a pair of sunglasses on the 30th March, with the estimated delivery date of the 18th April. The week before I received an email to say there was a delay as the product had not been received from the manufacturer, on the 16th April I emailed customer services for more information on when I could expect my order, I was told on 28th April that I could expect my delivery in 1 - 2 weeks. 1 - 2 weeks came and went with no further updates or delivery and I have been chasing ever since for an update - nothing, no one answers the phone either and you can't even wait on hold!

I ordered these glasses 2 months in advance for my holiday next week and now it looks like I won't have them in time. I've ordered from Edel Optics before and had no issues so this is very disappointing, I find it very disrespectful that there has been no concern shown towards the money that has already been taken from me, with nothing being received in return and no communication on when it will be.

We understand how disappointing this situation must be, especially as you ordered well in advance and were relying on receiving your sunglasses in time for your holiday.

Unfortunately, we have just been informed by the manufacturer that the item you ordered is no longer available. We deeply regret that this information was not communicated to us earlier, and we completely understand your dissatisfaction with the lack of timely updates and the overall communication.

Please rest assured that this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We are currently reviewing this case internally to understand where the breakdown occurred and to ensure it does not happen again.

The refund has already been issued to your chosen payment method.

Do not buy, zero customer service

I received my order as expected on 4th April but sent glasses back due to not liking the style on me, I've had an acknowledged email saying my returned glasses have been received but over a month later still no refund..ive filled in contact forms and contacted on social media, this is simply not good enough, I would like a response and a refund please..

Zero Customer Service

I sent an email three times asking for assistance with some faulty frames. I used the Contact Us email address on their website. Zero response (and yes I did check in Spam and give them 2 weeks in which to reply). If you have a problem, then you are on your own. Customer service at its laziest.

My Tom Ford sunglasses arrived today!!

My Tom Ford sunglasses arrived today! Bit of a wait, but I was made aware of the delay and they arrived just in time for sunny weather. The sunglasses are just what I wanted. Beautiful and very stylish. Parcel was packed very well, and I received extra cleaning box, thank you!
It’s second time I’ve ordered from edel-optics and I definitely not the last.
