Went rose and recliner chairin to the Grimsby town shop on the…

Went in to the Grimsby town shop on the off shot of seeing if I could gets some advice about a rise and recline chair, they was very busy and only one lady in there, she was trying to please everyone even with a coffee morning going on, there was people asking for advice everywhere, then a women came in really having a go at her about a workman nothing to do with this poor lady but she kept her cool was very professional she handled her very very well, she apologised to everyone else in the shop when it came to my turn she was so flustered but do professional at the same time, the amount of knowledge she had about the chairs was amazing so much so I’ll be back with a deposit next week to order one, her name is davina and is a great asset to your company I put my trust in her and will be back next week

Eden Mobility excellent service

My wife and I attended Eden Mobility in Grimsby; my wife was not sure whether she wanted a powered wheelchair or a scooter.

Jamie Dawson, the manager, spent time explaining the advantages and disadvantages of both. He took all the relevant information about my wife by which time my wife decided she wanted a mobility scooter. Any selected unit had to be boot compatible and portable. We saw a folding unit, but my wife decided against it as she felt insecure. A second option was offered, a Bootmaster Elite, and my wife found this very suitable. Jamie got the keys and took my wife for a short test drive. My wife was so impressed that we decided to go ahead with a purchase. Jamie showed me how to dismantle the unit and reconnect all the parts, His explanations were very thorough. I enquired about delivery times and it was suggested that it could take up to two weeks due to high volumes of orders. This was acceptable to us, but after completing our order, we arrived home to receive a telephone message asking if we could take delivery in two day's time. That is an excellent service. We are now in possession of the Bootmaster Elite scooter, my wife is entirely satisfied and we can highly recommend the service we received from Jamie and from Nicola in logistics. Thank you all for your kind support.

Shocking After Sales

My husband bought a pre-owned scooter from Eden Mobility, within 2 days of delivery had to phone the company, the glass covering on the tiller kept falling out, they came out and put a dab of silicon on it, a few days later it happened again, they came to see it again a week after he phoned, said they needed to order the part, three weeks later the scooter stopped working completely, also the horn button fell out, only had the scooter for less than 2 months, sorted out now, been without the scooter for 3 weeks because they wouldn’t come out to sort it
If you get a mobility scooter from Eden, the after sales service is shocking & they can be rude on the phone when checking if things are in hand don’t return phone calls & we had to phone to confirm if they were definitely coming on the day they had said, we were to await their phone call the day before they were due

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about the issues you've faced with your scooter and the frustration caused by the delays and communication breakdowns.

We understand how important reliable mobility is, and it’s clear that our service fell short of your expectations and our own standards, in this instance. While we’re glad to hear the scooter is now sorted, we regret that it took longer than it should have and that you were without it for three weeks.

We’ve reviewed the service history and can see that multiple visits were made to resolve the tiller and battery gauge issues, and that the volt meter was eventually fitted. However, we also acknowledge that the process was not as smooth as you nor we would have liked, and that our communication could have been much better throughout.

Please be assured that your feedback has been taken seriously. We’re actively working to improve our after-sales service and internal communication to prevent similar situations in the future.

Shocking services when waiting on parts…

Shocking services when waiting on parts for mobilty scooter. 4 weeks nearly and still no confirmed date. No loan scooter offered either. Shocking service when a person cannot get out without it and paying the finance still. You state if the part will take time eden mobilty will provide a loan scooter to ensure you remain mobile. Not the case at all
