Long Term User
I've been a long-term user of the Emovis Tag with both cars and motorcycles. Super simple to set up, and their online and telephone service has always been excellent. Billing is efficient and without issue for me. Reading some of the negative reviews regarding the setup and use of the tag makes me wonder if these people should be allowed to drive a car or motorcycle.

Great service
Emovis informed me the battery was very low on my tag. I retuned it in post and at the same time ordered another....Very efficient and prompt service. The website is very easy to navigate and all instructions are simple to follow. Well done!

Flawed technology!
The tolls can be an extremely dangerous place to be when riding a motorbike. Car drivers, lorries and other vehicles are funnelled through the toll barriers dependent on the T sign or other road signs. Unfortunately, this led to me using the incorrect barrier on a couple of occasions. Inevitably, my riding companion and I had to stop, call for assistance and/or present the tag for further reference. I've been charged as a car and a motorbike... without the option to challenge or correct the decision. I've since returned my tag and for future trips I'll save money and time, by paying as I go! This really isn't a time or cost saving option, and it definitely isn't foolproof or considerate of motorbike riders... just my opinion 🤷
Afternote: many thanks for your reply. The tag wasn't moved between vehicles. I think you've missed the point of my review... its a flawed system!

We're sorry to hear that using the tag service did not meet your expectations, particularly as a motorbike rider, the rules and regulations when using a tag on a motorbike are set out by the operators in France, the none height restricted lane must be used for safety reasons due to the low barrier, unfortunately if the wrong lane was used then the operators will not allow you to raise a toll adjustment on your account and will charge you as a car and not a bike, we are sorry for this disappointing news.

Really annoyed that all I wanted were…
Really annoyed that all I wanted were the parking discs but I was forced to buy a UK sticker. I changed the order to 0 sticker but there was no chance to see the basket to confirm before the order was sent. I tried to speak with the chatbot and although I explained my problem they advised I had to ring the next day. I know realise I should have unticked the automatic yes for the sticker - hadn’t appreciated that point. As I write currently using in France - such a handy and easy gadget and now the T with a 30 alongside means even quicker through.

Quick efficient service
I ordered the tag in 2024 for a long road trip in France. Tag arrived quickly is easy to mount and use. Works like a dream and no more scrambling for change. If you are thinking of driving in France definitely get one. Going again in 2026 and the battery is still good so nothing left to do but drive.

Lost tag.
I'd left my tag in my car when I sold it and only realised a few weeks later. The Emovis guys were great in sorting things out, and I now have a replacement on the way. Very efficient service.

I'd heard about Emovis from various…
I'd heard about Emovis from various publications and reviews over the years but despite riding and driving through France and Spain for decades, I'd never took the plunge. This year though I did. What a transformation. No messing about, no asking your passenger to pay or even worse reaching across from the driving seat in your RHD car. 100% reliable through France and Spain (2 different tags purchased). The toll booths that allow you to pass through at up to 30 KMH are even better. Spanish toll booths seem to respond even quicker than the already quick French ones. Easy to fit, easy to swap from French to Spanish version. A small thing that genuinely made the whole journey so much easier and more pleasurable.
Add to this great support from the Emovis team, fast delivery, confidence that the tag was activated before departure and a great account section on the website where you can see what you've spent at the tolls.
You'd be silly not to get one, I know because I was!

Great, easy to use web site. Very easy to purchase a tag. The tags are sent from the UK to me in the UK. Next day delivery was an ok price as I was leaving 4 days after ordering.

Be Wary about having a Tag
Emovis wrongly charged me almost 70 euros for entering the motorway and going for one stop along the motorway, turning around at the next stop and returning to the original entry point - despite several emails and calls they have failed to sort this out. I asked them not to charge my credit card until this was sorted out - but they did.

We are sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with our service; we would like to clarify that Emovis tag do not have control over any toll charges. It is the French toll operators that set these and all costs are set out by the different operators. In the instance when an incorrect toll charge is raised with your travel a toll adjustment can be raised with the relevant operator. When Emovis has received this request from a customer we forward the information directly to the operator for investigation and a conclusion. This process can take between 4-6 weeks, but we always try to keep you informed of any decision or developments.
Motorway driving in France is a dream
Motorway driving in France is hugely improved with a tag. I just hope that everybody doesn’t decide to get one!!😂
