Lenti a rispondere..

Buongiorno, sono stato multato in Ungheria il 01/09/2024 (numero di pratica 36022-100498823) per mancanza di vignetta elettronica. Tuttavia, la vignetta elettronica è stata acquistata 20 minuti dopo l'ingresso nel
Paese. La vignetta era valida fino al 01/10/2024. Sono stato ulteriormente multato al mio ritorno in Ungheria il 13/09/2024 (numero di pratica 36022-100498824), sebbene la vignetta elettronica fosse ancora valida.

Ho già compilato un reclamo anche sul vostro sito web un mese fa e inviato un mail, ma non ho ancora ricevuto risposta. Non è possibile attendere più di un mese per avere un riscontro sulle pratiche!

Aggiornamento: Grazie per la risposta. Vi ho rinviato il tutto via mail in data odierna! Attendiamo cortesemente vostre.

Jeg ville have givet dem 0, hvis der fandtes et 0. Et fup firma som sender falske faktura. Jeg modtog en faktura,hvor de krævede en betaling på 283 kr for en vejafgift i Norge. Men jeg var slet ikke i Norge på dette tidspunkt. Ren svindel, jeg politi melder dem.

Firma antwortet nicht und schickt weitere Mahnungen

Wir waren in England und haben angeblich die Dart Charge nicht bezahlt. Wir erhielten einen Monat später einen Brief, dass wir für 3 Pfund innerhalb der 14 Tage Frist die Schuld begleichen könnten. Der Brief kam aber erst nach Verstreichen dieser 14 Tages Frist an!! Sodass die Strafe auf über 70 Pfund steigt. Per Kontaktformular hab ich gebeten, ob wir nicht doch die 3 Pfund bezahlen könnten, da der Brief zu spät ankam. Es kam nie eine Antwort. In der Zwischenzeit habe ich einen Screenshot auf meinem Handy gefunden, dass ich die Dart Charge eben doch bezahlt habe und dachte, die fehlende Antwort ist darauf zurück zu führen, dass sie selbst herausgefunden haben, dass wir bezahlt haben. Naja ... Nun 4 Monate später kam eine letzte Mahnung mit noch höheren Kosten!! Das ist eine absolute Frechheit. Vor allem weil ich den Zahlungsnachweis nicht per Kontaktformular schicken konnte, da nach Eingabe meiner Fallnummer eine Meldung kam, dass ich warten muss, bis die Firma mir auf mein erstes Anliegen antwortet. Nun hab ich erneut Kontakt aufgenommen und den Screenshot gesendet. Automatische Antwort: Wir antworten innerhalb von 28 Tagen. 28 Tage?? Sehr schlechter Service.

fuldstændig urimelig administrationsgebyr på vejafgift.

Vejafgift er på 56 kr a 2 gange ialt 112 kr MEN så kommer der 3 gange administrationsbebyr oveni på 3 forskellige beløb nemlig 0,25 kr 52,04 kr og 145,59 kr ialt 197,89 kr alt næsten dobbelt op af vejafgiften.....

Very disappointed with this company, no one knows nothing when you are calling them, they don't reply to your message and after they you receive a letter where is saying that you have to pay that fee because you didn't add some of the documents they need, considering your call to ask them if there is any thing else to that you need to do

Na meer dan vijf jaar boete... en onterecht hoge administratiekosten

Na meer dan vijf jaar een boete ontvangen voor het niet zogenaamd niet betalen van tol met onze huurauto in Portugal, zou gaan om een bedrag van EUR 1,40. EPCPLC heeft de brief naar ons oude en verkeerd gespelde adres gestuurd, waar wij niet meer wonen. Pas na maanden attendeerden de nieuwe eigenaren ons op het feit dat ze een brief voor ons hadden ontvangen, ondertussen had EPCPLC wel de administratiekosten omhoog gegooid. Hoe hadden wij na vijf jaar hier überhaupt vanaf moeten weten, verhuisd zijnde en al? Absurde situatie.

This company operates what I believe is an unfair and predatory toll collection system. I moved to Portugal and, unfortunately, didn’t initially realise how the toll system worked. Later, I started receiving letters in Lithuania demanding large payments — but never the first invoice or any initial warning.

Every letter already included huge penalties, sometimes +300% of the original amount, for “not responding.” How could I respond to something I never received? This feels like a deliberate system to maximise charges, leaving you with no real possibility to contest or pay the original toll.

In my opinion, this practice is abusive and should be investigated at an international level. Consumers deserve transparency and a fair chance to settle the original amount before being hit with extreme penalties.

Angebliche Mautkosten aus Portugal. Der Vorwurf bezieht sich auf 2023, aber ich war nachweislich nicht dort. Ich habe um exakte Fahrttermine und Belege gebeten – erhalten habe ich lediglich Textbausteine, die an meinen Nachweisen vorbeigehen. Kein Grund, keine Prüfung, falsches Jahr. Nach Monaten nur Copy-Paste-Briefe. So geht seriöse Fallbearbeitung nicht.

Ik had een auto mét transponder voor de e-toll gehuurd in Portugal. Na twee jaar kreeg ik van Epcplc opeens een dwingende brief, dat er zogenaamd 10 euro aan tol niet was betaald. Daar telden zij 170 euro aan administratiekosten bij op... Absurd! De tol had ik overigens toen gewoon betaald. Ik heb veel over en weer gemaild, met maandenlange wachtijden, en pas toen ik hen liet weten dat ik advocaat van beroep ben en juridische stappen en de Europese klachtenprocedure overwoog, kreeg ik zojuist al na 2 dagen een brief dat ze de zaak 'wegens omstandigheden' lieten vallen... Een tip voor iedereen: neem contact op met de opdrachtgever van PLC, in Portugal is dit ViaLivre, en vraag alle communicatie op.

Dit is echt een asociale boevenbende, geen woorden voor.

EPCplc are scammers. Ah they expect us to pay their adm fees - where does it say I have to pay them?
It is a joke. I contacted Vialivre in Portugal who confirmed there are no fines to pay. The car was fitted with a Transponder anyhow. This company should be investigated.

No Transparency, High Fees

I paid to EPC plc for Portuguese tolls 3 years ago. Now they sent me another fine from the same toll system for €116. I asked them 4 times to compare it with my old payment, but they refuse to provide any details — just keep saying it’s a “different case.”

The new fine includes €73,44 extra admin fees on top of the official Portuguese fee, which seems excessive and unfair. Zero transparency, no willingness to help.

I am getting “invoices” in the post…

I am getting “invoices” in the post from EPC regarding non payment of overstaying 3 hours parking on the M4 services at Reading. My overstay was not an overstay at all - I was staying in the Travelodge in the car park at the services where the receptionist records the car registration numbers of guests on a computer system to avoid the overstay charge situation. The problem arises where guests have a foreign registered car (which I have) because the registration number has to be entered into the computer manually and the computer only keeps the registration details for 24 hours. In my case, I stayed at the Travelodge for over 10 days. Despite sending EPC details of my paying the hotel for my stay EPC are still pursuing me for 3 lots of £174! This all happened in Aug/Sept 2023! Following the latest demand in the post today I phoned EPC and explained the situation from start to finish - to no avail. I said I looked forward to seeing them in Court where I will be pursuing them for compensation for the stress caused by their actions, the time spent dealing with them, phone calls etc. in conclusion EPC seem to me to be a bunch of opportunistic chancers who believe that folk will just give up and pay them. NOT ME.

We would like to clarify that EPC plc is not a scam company. We are contracted by government agencies, tolling authorities, and private landowners to process and recover charges in accordance with applicable laws and contractual agreements.
Regarding your case, our records show that the parking charge was issued by the site operator, not EPC directly. EPC’s role is to act as their authorised agent to pursue the amount stated by them. Any supporting evidence you have — such as proof of stay at the Travelodge — is assessed in line with the information and instructions provided by the site operator.
We understand your explanation about foreign-registered vehicles and the hotel’s registration process. If the hotel failed to correctly record your vehicle’s registration for the full duration of your stay, this would need to be confirmed directly by the site operator for the charge to be cancelled. EPC cannot unilaterally override the operator’s decision without their authorisation.
We do not seek to cause distress — our role is to ensure that the notice is processed in line with the contractual terms set by the landowner. We encourage you to send all relevant supporting documents again to evidence@epcplc.com quoting your reference number so we can escalate this to the site operator for review.

Inkasserer vej afgifter pr post mange…

Inkasserer vej afgifter pr post mange måneder efter man har kørt på en vej, men har til gengæld korte frister. Så har du ikke mulighed for at tømme din postkasse på grund af rejse eller andet får du ekstra bøder, opkrævninger og trusler om inkasso. Klager hjælper selvfølgelig ikke.

Vi fick en faktura för en vägavgift i…

Vi fick en faktura för en vägavgift i Norge som gällde en passage vi gjorde för två år sedan. Fakturan hade redan passerat sitt förfallodatum när vi tog emot den, men vi betalade den ändå. En månad senare kom ytterligare en faktura med en påminnelseavgift. Även den hade passerat sitt förfallodatum när vi fick den, men vi betalade även den – i hopp om att det skulle vara slut på problemet.

Idag fick vi dock ännu en faktura där det står att påminnelseavgiften inte är betald, och att ärendet kan gå till inkasso om vi inte betalar inom 28 dagar från fakturadatumet. Problemet är att det redan har gått 28 dagar när vi mottog brevet.

Det känns som att företaget ägnar sig åt en oseriös eller rent av bedrägeriverksamhet. Det är väldigt frustrerande att behöva lägga tid och energi på sånt här, särskilt när man själv inte har gjort något fel. Man känner sig maktlös som en enskild individ i den här typen av situation.

Vi kommer att försöka kontakta dem via deras hemsida för att se om det går att få ett avslut på ärendet.
