I wanted to leave a review to recognise the exceptional service we received from Nathaniel Wilson (Nathan) at BYD Mansfield.

My partner recently took delivery of a BYD Sealion 5 through the Motability Scheme, and Nathan was outstanding throughout the entire process. From our first enquiry through to collecting the vehicle, he was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful.

Nathan went above and beyond to help us. He assisted with the Motability cancellation fee, held a vehicle for us when he didn’t have to, and was always available to answer any questions we had. At the time, my partner was going through a PIP review, which naturally brought some uncertainty and stress, but Nathan was always reassuring, patient and understanding.

Every time we contacted him, he took the time to help and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. His communication was excellent, and he made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and enjoyable.

We absolutely love our new BYD Sealion 5 and are extremely grateful for all the support Nathan provided along the way.

Customer service like this deserves recognition. Nathan is a real credit to BYD Mansfield, Evans Halshaw and the Motability Scheme. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

We collected our new car today from the Mansfield Byd Evans Halshaw garage .Tom dealt with us . He was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a credit to your organisation. We thought we had found our new car at Evans Halshaw, Mansfield but it required a few things, such as a new radiator and scuffs etc. We were the ones chasing them! They didn't phone back or keep us in the loop as requested. After numerous calls we were told they were still waiting for the radiator.... 2 weeks later, still no call from Nathan or Scott.
We went elsewhere and bought a newer model (3 yrs younger), similar price. It was a lovely smooth transaction with plenty of communication. You lost a sale EH by not phoning when promised. 🤪

Purchased a used Hyundai Tucson from BYD Mansfield a month ago. Car presented in outstanding condition on arrival and is running great. My Son collected his new car yesterday , a BYD Seal U Comfort, from Evans Halshaw Mansfield. We had visited the showroom on Saturday to look at the hybrid electric plugins, and they could not have been more helpful. Tommy, the Sales Representative, answered all of our questions, and took my Son and hubby out for a teat drive. He was polite and very knowledgeable about the cars, and made the whole purchase very smooth. They say a car is the next purchase down from buying a house, but this was far less stressful. Relaxed atmosphere. The salesperson was not pushy but helpful and all the arrangements we made while purchasing the vehicle went smoothly.

I recently had the misfortune to enter their branch in Mansfield. I'd spotted a few used Nissan Micras in group stock I was interested in. After half an hour of filling out forms, then receiving an offer of £100 for my old car I walked out. In my opinion the offer was them saying, we don't have time for you. Go away. They had a bad name in the 80s, nothing has changed.
