Had water softner unit fitted Monday by Vladimir. Helpful, professional and very friendly. Any questions asked were immediately answered which was great.

Waited a while for the service,getting dates that didn't suit, tried ringing, requested a call back, didn't happen.
Eventually I got a date and time that suited.
Engineer Luke was very efficient, friendly, he explained everything to us, there were no problems. So all good. Service only took a few mins.
We were happy with the service.

Product didn't work and was never fit for purpose, chased for weeks and months to get a service call out, finally got one only to be told "it should be working" and no solution, it continued for months not functioning properly. They just want more money to charge for a call out to tell us the same thing.

The unit also leaked into the electronics, extremely dangerous. They even sent an email warning people this was a possibility, but no solution for repairs offered.

All of this ignored for weeks, now we've complained and the "customer service" is absolutely hostile, very aggressive over the phone saying we have voided the warranty, saying nothing of safety issues, no refund or anything offered, only to take more of our money for a product that does not work and never has. They have also claimed that there were issues with iron in the water? Which were never brought up to us before, absolutely bogus claims so they can get out of a refund.

Shady company, horrific customer service, I've never experienced anything like it. Don't be fooled, many fake 5 star reviews, stay far away.

Before you decide to buy from this company please filter out the reviews to only show you recent ones and you'll see that their current rating (sitting at 4 stars as I write this) is misleading.

tl;dr:

- faulty product
- atrocious customer support
- total lack or accountability

We had several issues with the water filter not working and then finally having an internal leak and not working entirely.

Their customer service, which was slow to begin with, just stopped replying altogether. If I hadn't seen people come to install/service the system before I would be suspecting this is a scam.

If you're really considering going with this company, please read every other negative review here before you do so you at least know what you're getting yourself into.

Excellent service, very professional and EWT water softener makes a lot of difference. I noticed my hair is softer, skin and the water taste better—no more annoying limescale stain. My friend recommended it to me, and I highly recommend it too!

Water quality is really good, lime-scaling has gone completely.

I find the EWT water filtration system is hugely beneficial. I live in an area with hard water and a lot of limescale. I can notice a vast improvement to my drinking water. I also found the installation process quick and clean. Highly recommended. - Ann, Leixlip

Best move I made getting water softener from EWT. After 2 washing machines, a dishwasher, numerous kettles and a shower unit was time to get one. No issues since. Quick and prompt installation and service once a year that takes a few minutes. We'll worth the cost.

I have installed a water softener system last year with Ew Technologies, and I upgraded the drinking water system this week. On both occasion I remarked the professional service delivery of the company's staff, the customer service and the field engineer. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

Absolutely diabolical after sales service. I pay almost £10 a month for nothing!! Not been serviced for 18 months as ‘we don’t come to your area much’ they didn’t say that when I was handing the money over.

Correspondence is dire, they promise the world but never fulfilled

really good quality of salt, service is great, I have been using the service for 4years no complain I have to say, always call before delivery and always on time. I am a very happy customer. All my friends are using this salt as well and they are all very happy too !

Great company to deal with. The service engineer arrived at the appointed time and was very efficient and polite. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I was happy with the service before he left. Definitely recommend this company.

The website and app leave a bit to be desired however the team more than make up for it. Have multiple EWT products and it’s always been a positive experience. Our installer Paul is really excellent.

Terrible after sales service. Damaged our water pipes previously. Took a week to repair and replace the blocked pipes. This time around they took weeks to provide a service. Rescheduled and then cancelled the first service- and after they did call the system isn't working. Uncontactable today. I doubt that the five star reviews online for EWT are legitimate, given our experience of them.

Great service, the Engineer was very efficient, polite and facilitating.
