Honest bitter experience !!

I had placed an order and made an advance payment of ₹8,000+ from Bengaluru for Easter gifting and requested the items to be kept ready for pickup. A week before travelling to Kerala, I messaged and confirmed the working days and was informed that Sunday was a holiday. I mentioned that I would confirm one day prior to pickup, but I missed informing one day prior that was my mistake. But I did mention would collect it coming Friday, Saturday or Sunday..
However, when I called on Friday morning (Good Friday) around 10 AM, the conversation from the beginning was in a very arrogant and disrespectful tone also from day 1 interaction(but then I focused on the products & my requirement). Instead of trying to help or find a solution in a situation, the conversation was very rigid and unaccommodating & very low grade rude. When I requested if it was possible to send the items through a bus service since I had already made advance payment and the items were for Easter gifting, the response was simply that it had never been done and there was no attempt to help or suggest any alternative to fix.
During the conversation, the tone became increasingly disrespectful and at one point the voice was raised at me stating " you listen to me" which was completely unprofessional in any customer facing & interacting business. I eventually had to raise my voice as well and ended the call, asking to keep the order as it is with you. (Loss of hard earned 8K just coz I did not want interact a severe further with the owner lady).

The entire conversation (with my address shared) and payment details are documented in chat and call records..if someone seeks clarity happy to share.

This incident is not about the order, but beyond basic customer interaction, respect, and professionalism, which are essential in any business.

The owner lady ( who spoke) needs to learn that before running a shop or online business is not a favour. You earn from that so you have to provide a good service for the money you take.

1.learn to speak respectfully to every customer. In general to human. You DEFINITELY DONT SEEM TO HAVE IT.

2.Maintain a calm and polite tone in personal or professional conversation.

3.Never raise your voice or have disrespectful tone at a customer. Being assertive is different & taking like a rowdy is different.

4. Be solution oriented, not rule-oriented.

5.Customers who make advance payments should be treated responsibly.

6. Communication is part of business, not a favour on your customer.

7. Behaviour and professionalism decide whether a business grows or not.

8. Your conversation decides your upbringing & behavior in general.

9. If you dont know please hier a employee to handle the position. You are definitely not fit for it. (Read the reviews, speaks for itself).

Short- Good luck to you with a double profit you make with the 8k!! Thanks for a miserable experience & lesson I take never to deal with unprofessional like you. I shouldn't have advanced a association from the very first line when I heard your disrespectful tone.

Future customers- Many have had similar experience from review I see now. Future customer please pay & associate if you want a very bitter disrespectful experience at your own risk.

Update- 11.50am 3April- After the earlier unpleasant interaction, I allowed myself some time to cool down and then sent a final message requesting that the paid order be couriered to the delivery address shared. Starting now I will await dispatch confirmation and tracking details. Since full advance payment has already been made and the product has not yet been delivered, I will wait for a reasonable period for the order to be delivered. If the paid order is not dispatched and delivered within a reasonable time, Wiill be constrained to pursue appropriate legal remedies for recovery of the amount and any applicable compensation. This is being stated for record and clarity.

Hope future customer interactions are handled more professionally to avoid similar experiences both ways.

Maintain your tone with customer then you may not require efforts to post AI generated replies as in google review. Your entire conversation in on record. If you may permit I will leave it for future customer to decide. Years in a location dont bring experience, learn the technical & people management.

Didn't receive product so cannot comment on product quality

Terrible quality

Terrible quality

I purchased 4 pairs of tights. High waisted as thats the style that fits my body type best. I used size guide. They don't fit well and fall down when walking- even light walking. Forget about running . Dont like the fit in the groin area. Complete waste of money. Kmart offer better quality than this. Overpriced rubbish. Don't waste your money.

Our recent trip organized by Exotica…

Our recent trip organized by Exotica was a complete disappointment, and I strongly advise against booking with them. We had high expectations for our 9-day trip package to Italy, but it turned out to be a frustrating and disorganized mess.

The first hotel didn’t meet the 4-star standards promised, but the other two were nice.

Transportation was a major issue. The poorly coordinated transportation arrangements left us with a lot of hassle. Every day, we had to arrange our own transportation back to the hotel, which wasted our time and incurred unexpected expenses due to the poor planning. As a result, we couldn’t explore more areas in Rome.

The activities and tours were also disappointing. Exotica provided five hours worth of tours in Rome on the first three days, but they didn’t support us in finding activities or things to do during our stay. On the first day, they only handled our transfer to the hotel, and the guide had a meeting with us from 10 - 12, leaving us in the middle of the middle of the day without any plan. As a result, we had only two days in Rome. A bus tour was included in the itinerary, but was canceled. We asked the guide for ideas, but no suggestions were provided. Our tour to the Colosseum was a complete disaster. The tour was scheduled in the middle of the day, which completely ruined our entire day and prevented us from doing anything else. To make matters worse, the tour guide took unnecessarily long time to joke in the burning heat, leaving us exhausted. On top of that, they gave us many free time instead of planning more activities to explore more places.

Our tour to the Colosseum was a complete disaster. The tour was scheduled in the middle of the day, which ruined our entire day and prevented us from doing anything else. The tour guide took an unnecessarily long time to joke in the heat, leaving us exhausted.

Overall, our experience with Exotica was incredibly disappointing. The lack of professionalism and failure to deliver on promises made the trip more stressful than enjoyable. I strongly advise potential travelers to reconsider booking with this agency.

I wish I could give this a half star. The trip was ruined by mismanagement, making it a trip to forget. I hope this review helps others seeking a better travel experience.

Excellent product and customer service

I have been buying Exotica Athletica for years now and have never been disappointed. I love the quality of their products and their durability. I frequently get lovely comments about my colourful tops or dresses. Any questions are answered quickly and the customer service is great, they always follow up to see that you are happy. Love this company and would definately recommend their products for price, quality and size.

I've never had a bad item

I've never had a bad item, not sure of the reviews but find the quality and comfort amazing. The prints are great. Good fits. Ive even been given 2nd hand items that are still going strong. I've had one issue with a product coming marked and it was fixed up promptly.

I won't be shopping here again

I won't be shopping here again. It's really expensive for what it is - mass produced, low-quality products and their sizing is off. They claim that their leggings never fall down and it's just not true. I bought as per their size chart and the leggings are tight around my calves but they waist is massive.

I totally GET the bad reviews now.

I've spent just upwards of $2000 on their clothing this year. I've had little issues with a couple of items but in a recent order I had two items that were just ridiculous. One was a dress that I had bought before so I knew the pattern had been sewn incorrectly. And the second item was a pair of leggings that had a waist band that was 2 inches smaller than the waistband of any pair of the same size leggings that I have purchased from them. And I have quite a lot of pairs. I arranged to return them and posted them back. I even wrote an email explaining that the waist band was 2 inches too narrow. They sent me back the exact same leggings. And now I can't launch a new return because their website says I have already returned them. And when I emailed to tell them this, they sent me back to the website.

So I get the bad reviews now. I'd never had to deal with them until now. I highly doubt I'll buy anything further from them. I've been looking at a brand called Empress Athleticus. It seems like they have some supply issues as they are just starting out. But hopefully they will fix that soon. But they seem like they actually care about their customers. Exoticathletica definitely does not.

Very cheap and poor material quality

Very cheap and poor material quality. My items are see through and definitely won't support my body for any physical activity so I don't know why this store is an active wear brand. I only paid $25 for my leggings and $21 for my bra and even that is way too much for this quality, please don't ever buy from brand, but if you do please don't pay full price. No way these leggings are worth $84.99 and the bra being $69.99. Shein have better quality.

I was a massive fan of Exotica until...

I was a massive fan of Exotica (I literally have a cupboard almost entirely full of their dresses, palazzos, culottes, leggings, bells, bootlegs, crops, tops...you name it pretty much)! BUT.....in the last couple of months, they had a significant price rise which now makes them a pretty ordinary value for money proposition for the quality of the goods (a lot of their stuff doesn't have hems, so very easy patterns etc. I also notice a lot of people on Exotica fb pages are saying the quality has gone downhill, the sizing is inconsistent etc.

Having said that, if there is a good sale on, I will keep buying their 'Palazzo' pants, because I so far haven't been able to find similar elsewhere that are non-iron and look nice. I think the Palazzo's could be better with a wider waist band, similar to the Exotica leggings, bells and bootlegs, as the Palazzos don't feel as comfortable on as those.

If you're giving them a try, make sure you wait for a sale!

Knee Length Exercise Pants

Bought knee length exercise shorts to use for gym & pool. Great fit & great material. Paid $17 for same day delivery.....wouldn't recommend people do this because you do not get it in the same day therefore you are wasting your money. Ordered before the cut off time & ordered was received by company before cut off time. Also supposed to also get a signature on delivery but Australia Post didn't bother to even ring my door bell to attempt to deliver. Not impressed. Could've got a 5 star review but high cost postage let them down.

Super comfy!!!

I've bought so many tihts over the years and none have come close to how comfortable Exotica's is!!! just received my new pair today, and I am in love!! can't wait to get another pair!!

Horrible Customer Service team and refusal to be held accountable when their item is flawed

Garbage Customer Service team. i have spent a fair amount over the past couple of years. But lately they have tarnished their reputation with their lack of understanding and respect towards customers. They absolutely refuse to offer refunds even if their clothing is faulty, which nowadays their quality has gone down hill. So they should expect customers will be returning and demanding for a refund. You have to literally fight them and show them what your rights are as a customer to get a refund. They clearly bank on customers to shrivel up and back down or not fully understand their rights as a customer. After my last experience with them i am officially turned off shopping with them again. So beware when shopping with don't expect much from CS team. i have dealt with other smaller local businesses where their customer service is always above and beyond especially if you experience a faulty or ill fitting items.

I'd give them zero stars if I could - buy crap at your peril

This company has terrible customer service, and the products are low quality too. They say you can return if it doesn't fit, but they don't tell you that you have to pay for the return postage too. They don't refund either. So, the skirt I ordered back in the middle of April took over three weeks to arrive, I sent it back (after paying an additional $11.00 for the postage), and it took them another week and a half after it arrived there (from tracking details), before they even processed the return. I asked to be sent a larger size, it took them another ten days before they sent that, which still has not arrived, and it's now the first week of June. So thats now over six weeks and I have nothing, and when it does finally arrive, it's no longer the season to wear it. Crap products and the worst customer service you will ever find.

They play games with pricing

Dress pocket was not sewn, so I contacted company, had to send pictures and they sent return code. You have to pay for packaging if returning. A refund was given as agent claimed there was no stock of dress. However the dress was listed on their website for $61.90 sale price (none in my size) and $94.90 with stock available. It was exactly the same dress. I am not impressed with this game they are playing. I liked the dress and stated I wanted a replacement in the return package. For all the time it took to choose a dress, the hassle of returning due to a flaw that was not picked up in quality check, it was a total waste of my time.

I think I'm in love

New buyer. Purchasing online was smooth and easy. Finding the right fit was great using their sizing guide. Items came super quick and they fit like a glove. They have just the right amount of tumnmy control.

I have started 2022 trying to kick but and losing some weight. Finding little pieces of confidence along the way helps and hell yeah I feel super confident wearing my goodies. Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

Will definitely be returning and reocmmending

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I bought a top online and it was too tight fitting, the fabric was see through thin and did not match the description on the website. I returned it but they refused to provide a refund only, want to give a store credit. This was no good to me as I did not want to buy anything else from them. An online clothing store that will not give refunds for items returned on time and in good condition is not acceptable. So sorry, I tried this store!!!
