Awful experience, shoddy work, I had to get everything re-done again. Even one star is too good to rate the work - shame you can't have zero stars.

I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with Expert Plumbers, which has led to significant frustration and financial loss.

From the outset, the service was subpar. Paul came to assess the situation, failed to communicate effectively, missed multiple appointments, and ultimately did not bring the necessary equipment to perform the job correctly. The lack of professionalism was evident when he caused damage to my property while inadequately attempting to fix the leak.

Despite paying a substantial amount of £1285 for this service, I was left with unresolved issues (leaking pipe, stains on my valuable furniture which will require professional cleaning and unnecessary huge hole in my ceiling) also Paul quoted to fix the leak for additional £350. I had to seek help from another plumbing company, which resolved the problem quickly and at half the cost. This experience has been an immense disappointment, and I cannot recommend Expert Plumbers to anyone seeking reliable plumbing services.

I urge potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative providers who prioritise transparency and quality service. My experience has shown that Expert Plumbers does not uphold these values.

This experience has been marked by a severe lack of professionalism, accountability. The service provided fell far short of reasonable standards and was both inadequate and costly.

This plumber charged me £385 to replace the bath taps (just the taps, not even the shower head/hose) with £285 paid in advance. He texted, assuring me he would come at 8am on the following day. He did not come and did not turn up until 12pm, no contact made to inform me of the delay. When I called him after waiting two hours, he was even annoyed and kept repeating he was nearby and on his way. He then arrived further two hours later (considering that his business is just a 15 minutes drive from where I live). The job itself was done in a mediocre way, with a rushed, botched fix (he quickly changed the taps, reinstalled the bathtub panel leaving all drenched and dirty floor under, did not give me any chance to clean and applied some silicone in a rush and very badly). While he was working, he had to leave at some point to go and get a new plastic tube to replace the one behind the taps (as he had not realised it was leaking when he first inspected/was supposed to have diagnosed the problem the day before). He even boasted he was not charging me extra for that (for a small plastic tube that costs 1-2 pounds maximum?! Seriously). After, I had to spend over an hour drying and cleaning the mess he left. He did not send any copy of invoice, despite me asking repeatedly so I guess he is not going to pay any taxes on this botched job. This plumber has definitely a long way to go, both in terms of his skills and honesty/manners.

Avoid this company, the owner is a scammer and a conman. Does not turn up or finish jobs

Thieves took money from my account without permission or authorisation. Quoted me £140 job done and then bolted on a further charge of £275 that I contested. Manager shouting down the phone at me!! Shall be contesting payment with my bank and trading standards as they are liars and cheats. Avoid at all costs

In 16+ years as a homeowner this person is the most incompetent, the most unprofessional, the most dishonest, and the most unpleasant, work-person I have dealt with. Should not be allowed to operate – avoid at all costs.

Customer services terrible! Appointments have been changed and cancelled multiple times. Have been charged a few times more than what I was initially told without even receiving the bill. Never use them!

terrible customer service! as the plumber Paul promised to arrive in particular time slot and have ignored us all day. Moreover, no communication and no response. As the result - 1 star.

Just awful

--> two hours late - I chased them twice and when I complained after about the lateness they said that was "normal"
--> didn't confirm the amount they were going to charge me before charging me. It was higher than was quoted
--> plumber turned up and said I needed a new washing machine without looking at it. Had to be persuaded to check anything but that was only a fuse I could have done myself
--> said he'd provide a quote for parts the next day (although his advice with labour and part costs was to get a new one) and you'll never guess. No one got in contact.
