Bought tyres online with free summer safety check. Arrived at booked time. Guy on desk wasn't most pleasant of staff but he said I could leave vehicle and would ring when it was ready. After 3 hours no call so returned to centre and van was sitting in forecourt. I went in and collected keys and pointed out no call. He wasn't interested. He gave me invoice and I left. I travelled back home on the Friday (Milton Keynes) and tried to use windscreen washers but nothing happened. I stopped and checked, no fluid. I rang chichester to ask if they'd done check. They hadn't and tbh guy didn't care. I explained I lived in MK, he said I could take van back to chichester but for safety check they need it whole day? I explained this wasn't feasible and he said ' oh well'. Also my van now has wobble at 60-65 mpb so not sure balancing has been done either!

It was my second visit ( first Wes last year,) on both occasions excellent service and on time.

Booked my car in, which was quick and easy. I was advised what time the car would be ready to collect and when I returned it was all done! Friendly and efficient staff, so would definitely recommend the F1 Autocentre in Chichester.

Went to Chichester branch to get a tyre puncture repaired on my wife's car and they did a full tyre check, and Summer coolant check for free. Also found out that the battery had 2 useless cells out of the 6 and was not holding its charge, I was shown this test and as an electrical engineer myself agreed with it. Bought a new battery with 3 years warranty for £72,, good value. Been using them for the last 4 years and do not feel ripped off by them like I did my previous garage.

I turned up without having made a booking on a Saturday afternoon with a stone in my tyre that was losing air rapidly, the staff were helpful and quick to see if they had a replacement tyre in stock, which they did. But on examining the damaged tyre, they were able to do a repair for which they charged me £23.50 rather than £140 for a new tyre. I was extremely grateful for their honesty and helpfulness. I would recommend them as the place to go to in Chichester.
An independent tyre garage in Chichester which I had initially gone to was not open on Saturdays, and another national chain which was open wanted to charge me £200 which felt outrageous. Next time I will go to Formula One first!

They are brilliant! Excellent work on all our tyres. They were able to identify and fix all our car’s issues at a very affordable cost. Very honest and trustworthy. Reece in particular has always been super helpful and happy to share his expertise.

From my first panicked phone call explaining I think something was wrong with a wheel bearing (yes I defiantly did) to them finding a way to get my car in to be repaired before a 600 mile journey at the weekend, these guys have been Fantastic. Thank you Mehdi for getting it sorted and the team for your always great work and service.

We have been living in Chichester for 5 years and we take both our cars to Formula One. The service levels and customer understanding in exceptional. Mhedi the manager is clearly redefining the concept of Car Garages going the extra mile for their customers. Its no wonder they are booked weeks in advance. The garage very promptly investigated and resolved a coolant leak issue. The service staff and technicians I spoke to communicated very well, being both very courteous and informative.
I will use them again.

Has.loss of power went to formula1 auto centre in chichester and although fully booked they fitted me in for a full service which solved issue

On the 5th February I took my car for service and MOT all went well but failed for fog light not working and two track rods being replaced the original price was £180 this rose to £600 .the fog light they bought a new assembly for £140 not asking me what I wanted to be done the new assembly still did not work ,but they said they would not charge for this but they could not rectify the fog light and suggested I find an auto electrician as my car had failed the MOT I had to leave the car in their garage I got a taxi home .Next morning I rang 8different auto electricians all who could not look at the problem until feb/March I got a taxi back to the garage and asked for their help and they could only offer their auto electrician in Portsmouth ,to far for me to travel so I took my car to a local garage in Birdham who looked at the problem and they could not help and recommended an auto electrician in Birdham after 10 mins with this guy he told me the two connections to the fog light were not joined together once pushed together the fog light worked perfectly ,so what I thought was a major problem was a 10 min job.which had taken me five days and cost me £50 on taxes ,if you are an MOT garage surely you look at loose leads before you cause me five days of worry.i am still waiting for Formula one to come back to with the telephone calls saying I had authorised buying these assemblies which I do not believe I did

I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are professional, have first rate communication and ultimately have done a first rate job on our cars.
Nothing has been too much bother for Reece and I particularly want to highlight how he helped us when our Fiat 500 broke down near their garage:)

Booked my car in as it had a squeaky, grinding noise coming from the front driver's side wheel. I also asked to have the driver's side sidelight bulb replaced. Waited maybe ten minutes while the car was inspected, and the diagnosis was; worn top mounting on the suspension, and the bulb couldn't be replaced without taking the bumper off. Took the car to a proper garage where they got me a used hub assembly, (as the failed bearing wouldn't come out) And also replaced the bulb without removing the bumper. Would not recommend.
