Absolutely shocking customer services.
I never do reviews and I don't even think 1 star is worthy. From the get go the Eastbourne branch was a nightmare to deal with. My car was originally booked at the Polegate branch but unfortunately they had to cancel as they had no one to do my MOT. Couldn't fault the Polegate branch as they were very helpful, told me to transfer my booking to the Eastbourne branch which I did manage to do after 3 phone calls back & forth to them. I don't think the guy who I spoke to at Eastbourne was happy, believe his name was (Steve) as I booked my MOT online for Polegate & they had an online discount, and Eastbourne didn't do the same offer. I wasn't happy to pay for MOT again at the higher price as it had already been booked and then was changed at no fault of my own.
On the day of my MOT, I dropped my car off & when I picked it up, the unhappy guy who I had been speaking to on the phone had great pleasure in telling me my car failed. So I questioned why and what on and they seemed so smug about it, couldn't even give me a proper answer. I personally think because I am a woman they treat us differently to men. I wouldn't advise using this garage at all. The whole thing was shocking & was awful customer service.

I highly recommend F1 Auto centre Eastbourne for any vehicle issues. They are a very professional, experienced & fun team always eager to help and improve. It always take all the stress out my MOT knowing they will do a briliant job at at a fair price 👊

Staff were so friendly, brought the car in to get the wheel alignment sorted. Quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend as went above and beyond.

I have been taken my car to Formula1 Eastbourne for nearly two years. The customer service is excellent and very polite. Communication is clear about the services and prices. The service job never takes longer than they promise and they always call and inform you. Even when they are extremely busy they try their best to check on your car as soon as they can as it happened to my car not a long ago. It gave my a huge help. I recommend the garage to everyone. Very reliable people there.

Eastbourne branch - this is the third time these guys have come to our rescue at short notice! Friendly, helpful & always good value. Could have told me I needed a new tyre (they only had an expensive one) but they managed to repair it instead & still get me back on the road within 30 minutes. Fabulous service, much appreciated

Booked online well in advance, turned up 5 minutes before my alloted 3 pm MOT appointment, to be told my appointment was 2.30pm and I'd missed it. Assured them I'd booked 3 pm and then found the reminder email sent automatically which was for 3 pm. They then blamed head office and said all their appointments were at half past the hour, so sorry, they were busy and couldn't fit me in. Didn't even offer an alternative day/time. Having set aside an afternoon for this was pretty fed up, especially as payment already taken. First time using this company and will not use again.

Simon from the Eastbourne branch went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. He exceeded all my expectations and I truly could not be happier with the service provided. I will be recommending Formula One Autocentres to everyone I know in the hopes that they will get treated as well as I did. Thank you, Simon.

i visited formula one eastbourne twice, both times i was helped by Steve who went above and beyond to help fix my problems.I found him very courteous honest and helpful, he explained what my car needed and fixed the problems both times so nice to find someone you can trust i will be using Steve and the guys at formula one in eastbourne from now on

The guys at formula one have been fantastic, fitting my car in when I broke down, diagnosing the issue. Discussing the options and explaining in simple terms. Completing the work quickly and efficiently. Good friendly service especially from Simon and Steve. Thank you for your prompt service and friendly service. Highly recommended

I booked online through black circles for a tyre to be fitted & the next day called Formula 1 in Eastbourne as I also needed a brake caliper changing.
I went in first thing in the morning as discussed with Simon who has been great in the past, only to be greeted by an arrogant & obnoxious Scottish guy saying they were too busy to fit it.
For some strange reason he seemed intent on wasting my time & it was obvious when I returned to collect my car and three members of staff were standing around chatting.
He then felt the need to deliver a false apology for not being able to fit it by saying “we said we would take a look at it”
I could have sent a photo for this Irrelevant service!
Bottom line due to this arrogant little man’s behaviour he is happy to let a customer leave with dangerous brakes.
Shame on you!!
I have received a response from a regional manager saying they could not fit my caliper as it was apparent it was second hand. Not quite sure how they came to this conclusion given they had not seen it & it was brand new.
New discs & pads had been fitted only a couple of weeks before realising the real problem was the caliper.
School boy mentality from this individual attempting to be a bully.

Had full brake pad and disc change with full service and mot, 7 months later took wife's car there for mot and informed them my brakes rattled, and need new tyre. They said pop in next Fri. Fri said no, not booked in. Went spoke to someone else and they agreed to do it, although took all day to change tyre and pads,(not a problem), saying come back next day to have shim removed as only 10 min job. Next day no time unless I can leave all day. Tried again but they have no time, I said can't now do to until sat they said that will be fine. Sat told no, have to book an appointment. Guy said car was safe, so not sure what they want, but will take elsewhere if problem. Been with them over 8 years. Current car I have full service with mot . Now they have lost 2 cars worth of business. Advice don't keep telling someone just to drop in and not do the work
They sent message straight away on sat to follow link, did so and comes up with contact available Mon to Friday, just an automated response to look good

Booked mot online very easy to do, dropped car off and went back after an hour it was ready and waiting. Friendly efficient service

They have been great and helped me out massively with two recent incidents that happened to my car. I cannot recommend them enough they have been helpful, trustworthy and reliable on every visit as well as charging reasonable rates. Special shout out to Steve who helped me save my car from being written off! 👍

Great guys here, always tell you exactly what’s wrong and what is needed to fix any issues. Will always use as very friendly and helpful.
