I looked for a long time to find a van for personal use and specifically wanted a one owner, low mileage example. I saw a van advertised at Farnham Van Sales which fitted the bill. The sales experience was relaxed and, whilst the van was not cheap, I went ahead with the purchase. On both the website advert and on the invoice provided at handover it was stated that the van was one former keeper. A few days after collection the V5 came through and to my shock stated two former keepers. I immediately called Farnham Van Sales to complain. They said they would contact the former owner to find out more information and come back to me. A few days passed without any feedback and I chased up, same response. I then subsequently chased and chased and found e-mails ignored and calls not answered. In short they decided to ignore the situation rather than act professionally and honestly. A classic case of take the money and run! Given this company self insures with their own warranty and there is absolutely zero warranty documentation provided on handover, based on my experience I would be highly doubtful that they would do the right thing in the event of any post delivery issues. In short this company is not to be trusted, I would never buy anything from them again, and would certainly not recommend.

I have no hesitation in recommending making a confident purchase of a van from this customer-focused business. At all times I was given every opportunity to examine the vehicle and test it out. I had travelled over 100 miles to view the one of interest to me, following a video sent to me to ensure the journey would be worthwhile.

A problem arose shortly after buying my lovely van and I can't fault the way this was resolved. At all times I was dealt with courteously and efficiently. An excellent business model others would do well to emulate.
