As close to zero as it gets. I heard some employees at the restaurant off I40 and MacArthur saying how the general manager, the regional or district manager do nothing ( nada) for the employees. They ignore their calls and messages that pertain to matters that important to them and never get resolved. They reprimand employees by cutting hours down to sometimes 15-20 hours or less a week just to get them to quit!!! One lady mentioned they can careless about health problems. The ladies are sexually harrassed along with age discrimination was mentioned to be a big problem.. Just completely aweful behind closed doors in there. Insurance is no goid and people get paid so little they can afford to live so they even have to work while sick. Most of them cant afford a car so they walk or ride a bike, live in hotels or probably on the street!!! Those are people just like you and I and the persona portrayed there by the fake smiles is not by any means what you want to see while trying to enjoy a good meal.
For a place that is suppose to be supported and supporting firefighters ( which need to give them the utmost respect for the things they endure) , id think that this franchise owner should be looked at a little closer but even closer the person who runs multiple facilities since thats the person who trains the upper management as well they are the ones that teach how to manipulate the system to not give raises often ( like years) so they save the money for their big bonuses and not share with any employees. I ran businesses that have pulled it all and state and corporate HR should get involved in this with the EMPLOYEES. NOT WITH THE HIGHER UPS UNTIL CORPORATE HEARS FROM EMPLOYEES FIRST!!! THATS HOW THAYS TAKEN CARE OF.. THANKS..

I normally enjoy going to Firehouse Subs, but lately the experience has gone way downhill since the new owner took over—and this issue seems to be affecting multiple locations, including Ooltewah, Red Bank, Hixson, East Ridge and Gunbarrell Rd here in Chattanooga.
On my recent visit, there were out of multiple basics items, there were no Chips at all, no Diet Coke, No ketchup for your cheese steak sandwich. On top of that, several key menu ingredients were unavailable, which really limits what you can order. It feels like supply ordering has been cut back, and it shows. I had to go to Food City, get ketchup and chips so we could enjoy a decent meal. When you go to a sandwich shop, you expect the essentials to be in stock. Some of these employees whom have been there for several years, were apologizing for the lack of supplies and were quit frankly embarrassed. How in Gods name can you expect to keep employees. Hopefully ownership will address soon, because right now it’s disappointing and not up to the standards people expect

Disappointing Food and Customer Service, Sandwich looked nothing like the Advertisement
I recently visited Fire House Sub on MLK in Fayetteville, AR, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I order the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, and the service from the cashier Makensie Holsey, was not pleasant. She spoke very quickly, seemed rushed, and did not pay attention while taking my order. When I looked at my sandwich, it was nothing like what was advertised. It was extremely sloppy and overloaded with mayonnaise. There were only a few very small pieces of chicken and sprinkles of bacon, which was very disappointing considering what the sandwich is supposed to include, also for the price. I called back to address the issue, but the response was rude and unhelpful. After this experience, I understand they have such low rating. I really wish I had checked the reviews before visiting.

I had a great experience at Firehouse Subs. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. My order was prepared quickly and everything was fresh and delicious. The sandwich was warm, full of flavor, and made exactly as requested. The restaurant was clean and well organized, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.

New restaurant firehouse subs opened in shelburne . I had the worst subs there ever. I had no toppings that I asked for , no pickle on the side that I requested and there was barely any sauce at all on the sub. I won't eat there again and I do NOT recommend it. I have tried getting in touch with the restaurant but noone call you back. I have eaten at other firehouse locations and they were good but this location not so much.

I will never support this place again. My son, along with another co-worker, who has never received a complaint once since he’s worked there was fired after complaining to the manager Jasmine about another team lead and how they were being treated by this team lead. Instead of listening and getting all sides of the story or giving a written warning of any sorts they were both fired for voicing their concerns. Apparently they like to take sides instead of doing any investigation or listening to their staff. Corporate will be hearing about this along with any legal repercussions that can be taken. Firing two people based on a he said she said situation is absolutely unacceptable, especially since they seemed to be short staffed already and cannot get a sandwich made in a decent time for the life of them.

Had a great experience at the Firehouse Subs Friday 1/16/26 Sargent Rd, Sioux Cit Iowa. The 2 guys working were fun & friendly. Best sub & fries ever.

The subs are usually fine. But I don’t usually try them all. I stick with what I know to be good and hard to screw up with consistency.
…the pickles have gotten worse over the years. I no longer get them because they’ve been consistently soggy or mashed in some way.
As far as service.. service is sub-par. That is, it’s lacking. Friendly yes, but it shouldn’t take 40 minutes to get your order.
The problem is that they never called my name when it was finished. It sat on a shelf, (not the normal location), and other people started coming in and leaving before me.
..while I patiently waited for my order to be finished. It’s become typical for slow and improperly managed people don’t seem to have solid routines for their duties.
Very disappointing to the trend since they first appeared years ago..
Firehouse subs went south some
I love Firehouse subs the hook and ladder my favorite since they quite toasting the bread they aren't as good due to the bread soaks up all the moisture which makes the subs soggy. You ruined the stability of the good sandwich. Don't get me wrong subs are good but lost something without the toast on the bread, have only one question why did you ruin a good thing to keep you higher marks. Taking short cuts doesn't keep your customers happy. Go back to toasting the bread please.

Firehouse has a terrible lack of consistency. I bought the French dip that they just brought back and the one I had a couple of weeks ago was pretty good. I was annoyed they had started putting garlic butter on it which I really didn't want but now I know. I reordered it yesterday and it was the toughest sandwich I've ever tried to eat. The bread was good and fresh , the cheese was good the au juice was wonderful but the meat was unchewable - it looked good but it just was extremely tough. I have to give the workers credit because I had to call to tell them I did not want my sandwich heated. I was using the app on GrubHub and there was not if you order it on the firehouse app but if you order from Firehouse those choices are there. one other complaint is they need to describe their sandwiches consistently I had had the French dip several times but this time they started putting garlic butter on the sandwich which I really don't care for and there's no way on the GrubHub app to tell them if you don't want the sandwich heated or if you don't want the garlic butter. I'd rather wait and he eat my sandwich when I'm ready to eat it rather than date heating it and then it getting cold.

They write checks that BOUNCE and cannot be cashed out of PERSONAL accounts! You are not allowed to contact the manager, they have no HR department or accounting department for these issues! They terminate people for not showing up to a shift they were NOT EVEN SCHEDULED TO WORK! Do not support this FRAUDULENT company!
Tried to get Cranberry Sauce on my Thanksgiving Sub...
Tried the Thanksgiving sub. There was seriously the thinnest spread of cranberry sauce on the top of the bun, the only way i knew it was there was there was a pinkish hue.
I asked if i could get the correct amount of cranberry sauce on my sandwich, and pointed to the poster behind the till that showed it as a substantial layer in the sandwich.
Yes no problem...except they charged me $3 more lol. All i wanted was there to be the correct amount not extra not easy just what was presented in the poster.
Typical of this location, $20 for a sub, they are making a killing food cost wise.
It's scary how much power the front line staff have, i will never return and i was good for at least one sandwich a week from them. The person at the till could care less that i won't be back, but surely the owner might?
Who knows, it won't take long for them to close if they keep up these shady skimpy practices.
