Had used theae fellas for a good few years , always advertising sales etc. However recently i had an order sof small items took a very long time to come. And ny fishing partner in northern ireland had ordered a beachcasting set up ,i unfortunatly reccomended GAC , so he found something in stock he wanted said it would only take couple days... its now been over a month. They refuse to reply so literally just stole the money ! Absolute cowboys will not be using again better going to smaller independant shops

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PURCHASE.

I brought three seats from Glasgow Angling Centre (also know as fishingmegastore.com) and paid their extortionate postage costs. I opened the package and found that the same three products I ordered, with the same three barcodes were three completely different shades of green (not even close). They are also three different materials, one is smooth one is shiny and the other is as the picture on the website shows.

After contacting support I have been told that I can send the item back for a refund however I have to cover the cost of return all the way to GLASGOW even though I am not the one at fault.

Support also told me that the item is now discontinued and that I have got the last three in stock so it seems that I have been lumbered with the last three mismatching ones that no one else wanted.

BE VERY CAREFUL AS WHAT YOU BUY MIGHT NOT BE WHAT ARRIVES AT YOUR DOOR

I will never recommend this company with poor customer service. They are happy to take your order and if you have any problems with the product, they don't answer your emails and if they do answer after a month, the company doesn't take responsibility for the damaged item. 👎👎👎

Shocking level of poor customer service.

Second hand goods sent to me and zero response or acknowledgement!

I purchased several items from Glasgow Angling Centre and two item arrived that had very clearly been extensively used; paint worn off the edges and rather scratched and scraped.

GAC cannot even be bothered to respond or acknowledge my emails.

This is not the first time they have done this to me or fellow anglers.

I doubt I would ever purchase from them again.

Had broken rod top send I sent them emails and they have completely ignored all of them.
No customer service whatsoever.

Three months to deliver a Rio line. Emailed them after one month to be told I would get it when they got it. Emailed after two months got no reply. Finally emailed the owner Paul Devlin and the warehouse operator claimed it had just arrived in (5th November order placed 30th August). Wouldn’t have minded if I had been responded to.

First class service. I was given some good professional advice on my choice of products which was invaluable. Posting time was excellent. Based on my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

I bought gear using a gift voucher. I bought more than the value of the voucher so had to pay the balance with my debit card. However when I checked my account the total amount had been debited from my account even though I had entered the voucher number. I contacted them regarding this matter. They sorted out the error immediately and reimbursed my account with the value of the voucher.

Another the note the goods arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

All in all, a very good service.

Glasgow Angling Centre is by far one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. In particular, Andy MacFadyen was extremely helpful and professional. I was constantly kept informed on the progress of the order.

Would definitely do business with this company again.

Purchased a sea rod which was fine but sent, over a week ago, email as to if they could advise on a suitable reel. No reply at all.

I will take any future business elsewhere

I purchased a Fox Rage Large Stacker because on their website and many other websites the large stacker had all the storage I required. When the order arrived , it was clear that this was the medium stacker as pictured. Rang then up , only to be told that I had been sent the correct unit and Fox must have changed their model. Strange as this was supposed to be a new line. I rang Fox International UK and enquired about the product and the support person went and checked their stock and confimed that by my description, I had in my posession a medium stacker. Rang GAC again to explain and the salesperson basic said Fox didn't know what they were talking about and they would ring them to check. No responses since, so assume they were proved wrong and chose not to contact me again. For the sake of a few pounds they have now lost another customer due to rudeness and lack of customer care.

I bought a couple of fly boxes a few weeks ago and have been steadily filling them, unfortunately one the small hinges broke. I contacted customer services on a bank holiday and the following day they had apologized and sent a replacement. What great customer care!

Have placed numerous orders via the Glasgow Angling Centre, and have always received the very best service, they have a huge choice of gear plus some exceptional bargains, combined with great service, it really is as good as it gets e.g. just ordered a high quality reel reduced by over 50% with free delivery, arrived within 48 hours!

Simply fantastic customer service had a rod break Sunday and emailed Sunday afternoon and had a replacement in my hand Tuesday morning can not recommend highly enough big cheers to Andy.

Avoid at all cost.
Part of my order was missing , just left out by whoever picked and packed the order.
No responce to emails trying to sort it out so can only assume its a dodgy operation taking money but not sending goods.
Fortunately have only lost a small amount of money this time but save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

5 stars. Have used them a few times and have had a couple of problems with manufacturers defects and the finest of damage on another rod. When the damage was noticed before dispatch I was called and asked if I was happy to wait for a new rod or have a discount. On another occasion I had a manufacturing defeat. There Customercare was faultless. All their products arrive very well packaged. They use ups which is not my preferred courier. Orders can be split if stock isn’t available. It’s rare to get good customer service and cheap internet prices.
