The very best choice
I have been with so many different medical insurance companies such as Bupa, Aviva etc. Freedom is truly the best! I was only with them for two years and sadly I got deadly stage 4 cancer. Since then Freedom has been in total support and offered anything possible to help me even the treatment most of the companies will not approve, it even surprised my doctor. Choose Freedom, you will not be disappointed!

I’ve been with quite a few insurance…
I’ve been with quite a few insurance companies in my lifetime and have found Freedom to be the best out of them all.

Helpful kind and efficient

I have to say everyone at freedom have been amazing. Shannon and the rest of the team are fantastic. It’s quite rare to find a company in any field (never mind insurance) that are so easy to contact and deal with.

In one word, AVOID!
You are wasting your money as they will very rarely pay out. They always come up with excuses why not to pay and you will see even this review they will justify... just trust me and don't waste your money rather don't have insurance at all! On every claim they explain you that it can be managed through the NHS! What a joke? That's exactly why I have insurance.. cancel your policy with them right now as you are 100000% wasting your money. If you don't cancel you will learn it the hard way.
Updated. Multiple doctors have confirmed that this does not qualify as a pre-existing condition and should be covered. However, Freedom insists otherwise. Additionally, when I submitted a claim for my newborn son—where the pre-existing condition argument was not applicable—they stated that the matter could be handled by my NHS GP instead!

Health Insurance is a Waste of Money
Like all insurance companies, Freedom Health Insurance and its partners use all their resources to find reasons not to pay out on their policies.
Every claim I have made has been knocked back, or they have only covered a fraction of the cost.
The response is not accurate, your employees insisted that your insurance partner (AXA) had a previous agreement with my Physo where he set his rates at £50/40 per session. I disputed this as my physio told me he had no agreements with any insurer and logically he would never set his rates so low. Freedom Health Insurers dug their heels in insisting they were correct, it was only when I left a review that I was paid in full.
As I said insurance companies will try anything not to pay out.

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify how our claims process works. Our goal is always to provide fair and transparent reimbursement in line with the terms of each policy.
It does appear however that your review was left prior to full payment being reimbursed to yourself and to the clinic.
After reviewing your policy, we can see that initially, we processed your claim based on standard billing agreements with our partners. However, once it was confirmed that the physiotherapy clinic was not contractually bound by our billing partner, we reimbursed the full claim amount in accordance with our policy terms.
We strive to ensure that all valid claims are handled fairly and efficiently, and we are glad that your claim was ultimately covered in full. If you have any further questions or require additional clarification, our team is always available to assist.

Despicable treatment of a customer
If you take out a health insurance policy with Freedom health, make sure you do not make any claims! What they will do, is authorise your claims, and then when it comes time to renew, refuse further cover as your policy is not making them money, or in their words is a poorly performing policy. I now have to open a new policy with a new provider, and lose the ability to claim for any existing conditions, all thanks to Freedom Healths greed. Beware they dont see you as a person they see you as a monetary figure and if you have the misfortune to have to use the policy (Which is what you buy it for) then they refuse to renew. Disgusting, and unprecedented behaviour. Oh I called to discuss this, and no manager was available to discuss. I was promised an AM callback from someone called Rob. Rob has yet to call, although I am not interested in discussing it over the phone now. Never in my life have I been treated so contemptuously! I would really warn against anybody taking out a policy with this company. Rather go with one of the more established brands that are big enough not to have to offload customers if they feel they arent financially viable!

Hopeless company
Hopeless company. They make claiming for treatment difficult by sending unhelpful emails containing misinformation.
They don't pay the full cost of treatment meaning you have to subside them. What is the point of private insurance if you have to subside the company?
The response made by Freedom is factually incorrect.
