Finding a company name is one of the most important steps in your campanies identy. But naming it yourself can be hard.

I've been using Frozen Lemons to name several companies in the past and always gone with one of the suggestions from them and always been really happy. The customer service is always excellent.

I would highly recommend them if you are having a hard time naming your company.

I was quite excited when I found Frozen Lemons. Their website seemed nice and the examples they showed looked like great names. Unfortunately, on multiple levels, it was a waste of money and a disappointment.

- The names came to me WAY after 48 hours, and only got back to me after I complained that I hadn't gotten them yet
- The way they deliver the names is weird and can end up in your spam box, and they say that in their communications. Like, if your email ends up in spam maybe you should fix your setup?
- Despite sending the first long description plus and additional follow up of keywords/etc and listing exactly what I didn't want in the name, the names I was given were worse than a business name generator and some of them were exactly what I didn't want.

All in all, bad customer service and crap names. I found a business name generator online after paying for this and it gave me way better names than they did.

BEWARE of this company. Their marketing and promises sound great on their website. I paid for the package with more names with expedited delivery. The return a list of 20 names that had nothing to do with my very detailed instructions. It was shocking. they were obviously pre-made generic names that they just give me for $200. Customer service takes weeks to respond, literally. I did a charge back for the first time ever and it took 3 months for my bank to to respond to me saying that frozen lemons is fighting it and they need proof of what was expected vs received. and at that point I just accepted the loss, dont have time for it. dont be like me, just avoid. unbelievable.

Frozen Lemons....what a fun name and the reason it caught my attention when I wanted to name my business. I had been struggling for weeks to choose a name and it was keeping me from moving forward. I purchased the Bronze package but I would recommend the next one up (Silver), only because they give you such fun catchy names it's double the fun. I used my 2 revisions partly because I was excited to see what names they would chose, but ended up using one of the original four names.
From payment to product, the turn around was less than 48 hours; that's impressive given the fact there is an 8 hour time difference.
I would highly recommend Frozen Lemons to anybody looking for a business name. Of course you need to do your part and give as much information as you can. They are brilliant!

I have had a great experience with the people at this company. Despite lockdown/COVID restrictions which affect all of us, they got back to me with 8 names within 48 hours, 3 of which get very close, 1 in particular I may use, without any second round revisions.

In comparison to their fee (CHARGE MORE GUYS, YOU ARE WORTH IT) this saved me MORE months of head scratching and time wasting trying to get to the core of what my businesses are about. I had already tried to work this out myself for about 1 year, and had tried another agency who cost a lot more but who didn't seem to want to explore the paths I wanted to go down, or just "didn't seem to connect" with what I was describing. Maybe my own thinking and feeling and explanation has evolved over time, and that made this experience so much better.

Well, in 48 hrs they have managed to get very close, and probably close enough. It is a creative process and so that is always going to turn people on or off, like some art or music does. I think you have to accept that when you engage someone in this kind of work. It's not easy work!

I have realised that as part of this process I also have a role - to best explain what my business is about, and what/who is it for, at it's core. Not keyword based or anything like that.

I also have a role in getting out of the way, and accepting that 'close enough' is close enough - and that it's what I do when I show up that is going to make the big difference. Otherwise all it is - is a name.

Hope that helps others going down this path. Give these guys a go, and maybe accept you might have to get humble and go around a few times before you end with with what you think/feel you want. And focus on the feel more than the think.

I took a chance on Frozen Lemons because I was having trouble thinking of a name for my business. After a few emails back and forth, they sent me names that were exciting and wonderful. I am very happy with the names and the way they conducted their business with me; straightforward, prompt and to the point. Excellent job, thank you !!

They were professional and easy to work with, they really listened to us and what we were trying to convey through our brand, their proposals were not only congruent but also out of the box, each proposal had a clear explanation and reasoning that resonated with us. I considered them as our partners, so be very candid and work closely with them and they will provide a great outcome for you. We got our name and we love it!

Professional, Presented names on time. Names had description of why they were selected. Names I got were varieties ranging from fun, and professional sounding, specific to the my business and market.

I paid for the Gold level package that is supposed to provide 20 company name ideas, and it states you get results in 24 hours with 8 free name revisions. I only got 19 names, as they sent me a duplicate. It took much longer than 24 hours. I paid on Jan 9th, but didn't the email with the names until Jan 12th. Within 3 hours of receipt I informed them that there was a duplicate name in the list and that I was not happy with the proposed names, as they were not even in line with the company description I sent them. I sent them the company description again on Jan 13th and did not hear from anyone until Jan 19th after I had to contact them again, and was told I would receive revised names within 24 hours. I never got those revised names! And the original 19 names I received were the WORST names I have ever seen. A child could have come up with better options. The names were literally just words mashed together that made no sense. I did not get what I paid for. I have attempted to make contact numerous times and have been completely ignored. This company does not deliver on its promises and does not provide what is listed on it's website. I have the email chain that backs all of this up and proves I did not get what I paid for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!!!!

My experience with Frozen Lemons was outstanding! They were very responsive to our requirements, allowed for several revisions, quickly came up with new names and in the end, we found a name we loved! I would definitely recommend them.

I was reluctant to use a naming service because I thought this should be easy, after all I set up two companies and all I need is a catchy name, right? But after weeks of agonizing brainstorming I consulted with Frozen Lemons and contracted for only four names. On the first try, all were good, but two of those were exceptional and one of those was beyond perfect. I realize now that “catchy” alone was not enough. Darlene and her team gave our name originality and meaning; a direct communication of our mission with sentiment, history and unlimited portability. Getting a great name also depends on how specific your brief is, explain as much as you can, give them keywords you’d like to use what kind of brands you like etc... 100% I recommend them . We had a great experience using Frozen Lemons' naming service. We needed a name for one of our new products. This time it was harder than usual so we tried some outside help. We found Frozen Lemons and went for the Silver package which includes 8 tailor-made name ideas. The process is simple, you just explain what kind of product/business you have, what challenges you had along the way with finding a name and what type of names you like. Within the promised 24 hours we received the results via email. Multiple names stood out to us, from the 8 names created for us 2 we really didn't like, 3 were okay but 3 were great so we choose between them and let our entire team decide. Worked like a charm. Frozen Lemons gets our recommendation!

horrible service! I booked 4 name suggestions for my company, which should be delivered within 24-48 hours.
As they didnt write me a message, why they couldnt deliver the service within the time frame i wrote an email to them, that i want to cancel the service. I got a reply, that they had technical issues but would deliver the service. I replied again, that i want to cancel the contract as the service wasnt as described.
Finally, they delivered.. but too late. As i wrote again, that i cancelled the contract, they didnt reply on my emails. They didnt send my money back even though i cancelled before the product was delivered.
I cant recommend the company. They dont inform you about the process, even if your product is not delivered within the estimated time frame. They dont except a legally binding cancellation of the contract as they just dont reply back. Luckily the money is send with paypal, so that you have a chance to fight for your money!!

I was a little dubious about this company due to the mixed reviews but my god I am so glad I took the initiative to go with my gut!
Darlene and her team were so helpful... We went with the bronze package (x4 names + x2 revisions) to find the perfect name for our new upcoming perfume line.
Although the first 4 names exceeded the 48hr hour window, they were quickly sent within hours of my follow up email, (perhaps a technical glitch).
Although the first x4 were great names, we did take advantage of the revision service which Darlene was more then happy to take on and even asked for some additional information in order to come up with the perfect match. Revisions arrived quickly and although some great candidates here too, we actually decided to go with one of the originals within the first x4.
We can’t name the chosen name currently due to the confidentiality of currently trademarking the name but we are delighted with the brand name and it’s certainly something we would never of thought and fits our brand perfectly!!
We can’t thank Frozen Lemons enough and so glad we decided to use their service.
It’s unfortunate their are some not so positive reviews but hey I guess you can’t please everybody.... but certainly no complaints here!!
