I ordered a spark plug for my strimmer, as I couldn't find it to buy locally. I needed it quite soon, so paid for royal mail 24hr service, and it arrived the next day. Excellent service thank you definitely use this company again.

My 2015 Mountjoy starter failed. I emailed GHS the model number and sent photos asking advice. Within a couple of hours I had a reply with links to an original Mountjoy and a far cheaper option of the part needed.

When the original arrived I discovered the bolts from the damaged piece were impossible to remove and reuse on the new part. Repeat of above: they sent me links to the very nuts and bolts (different length sizes - this I had not noticed) and they arrived 3 days later.

I would have liked the option of next day delivery but this does not detract from their excellent service. Lawnmower restored and working fine thanks to GHS. 5* service.

Needed a part to repair my hedge trimmer. Staff member was very helpful to ensure that I received the correct part. Delivered quickly and fitted. Would definitely use them again.

Very disappointed with this company , ordered part , fitted on arrival, it lasted 45 mins !! Contacted them and sent photos of the failed part , basically their “expert”stores manager said it was I fitted it incorrectly!!
Being an multi skilled engineer for 40 odd years, fitting a simple belt pulley to a splined shaft is not rocket science,
The item has a manufacturing issue , not hardened correctly, but they had no intention of sorting issue just blamed me ,
Had to chase them for a response and not even a attempt to help customer at all ,
Total arrogance instead !
Cheap crap supplied and sold and abysmal customer service , will never recommend this company. STAY CLEAR

Don’t be fooled by suggestion items in stock and next day delivery on their website. I ordered a small spring from this company on Monday evening. This spring is approx 50mm in length and 12 to 15 mm in diameter and would easily fit in a standard first class packaging. Its weight is next to nothing. When i was searching for this spring something i needed relatively quickly, many companies were selling this spring some around 50 percent cheaper than GHS,however most stated item wasn’t in stock and estimated 3 days to deliver to me. GHS showed the item as in stock and due to the fact i needed the spring I decided to pay the higher price so i could repair my mower and get it back to working ASAP. When i checked out it asked me about delivery and i opted to pay £3.95 for Royal Mail 24 believing i would get it within 24 hours. Yesterday , Thursday when we checked the tracking it said parcel had been dispatched but Royal Mail were awaiting package. Today it said expected delivery would be tomorrow, now being Friday. Obviously if i had ordered anywhere else with the 4 days it has taken for GHS I may have even had it sooner and cheaper. I only ordered from them as they misled me believing it was in stock and i would receive it within 24 hours. I phone them today and the guy i spoke to was completely dismissive . He told me i had paid for Royal Mail 48 which can take between 3 and 5 days so Friday is acceptable. No apologies or anything. I definitely clicked on 24 hours not 48 and by the by due to its size if it was sent next day it would be a lot cheaper than£3.95. Very disappointing and definitely wouldn’t use again. The website misleads you to believe you will get it sooner. And customer service poor to. Would recommend go elsewhere.

been with ghs for nearly 9 years , im a sole trader repairing garden machinery, just over the last year ive noticed alot of items on back order ! tottally frustrating as they hold back the rest of the order untill item is back in stock, which can be crippling for me as work stops on all machines which are witing for parts , slowly finding other suppliers now which are as good as ghs was before.

Needed a service kit for my Stiga Park 120... managed to find the right items by searching online. When I contacted GH Spares and spoke to the spares chap, he was so knowledgeable and helpful - he managed to locate the correct items using his system. All original parts are available at good prices. Very pleased with quick delivery via Royal Mail tracking.

An excellent company. I needed spares for my lawnmower. Thanks to their very helpful website I was able to find the exact spares that I needed. They were not too expensive and were sent very promptly. I would use them again and very happy to recommend.

Ordered a a part for next day delivery but unfortunately DHL managed to lose it, spoke to GHS and a replacement was in the post same day.
Can't really ask for much more than that.

Ordered in error. Their customer service lied and said already dispatched. Only when I posted this review did they act. And then gave me loads of guff about ‘company policy’. Phone not answered, pointless bureaucracy, ton of time wasted. In short, total pain to deal with.

Very poor service. I placed an order for next day delivery. I was assured parcel had been dispatched same day. When the parcel didn’t appear on the couriers tracking website, I called for an update. I was promised a callback, which didn’t happen. I called the courier, who advised they had never received the parcel. I called GHS again, who cut me off. I called GHS again, who suggested the parcel had been put in the wrong bag?? I was offered a replacement, which I accepted, only to be advised that they don’t have it in stock.

Thanks GHS. Ordered Monday night with overnight delivery, as urgently required for a job. Now I’ll be lucky if I get a part before the weekend.

My advice people; use a more competent company!

I only ordered a replacement bolt for my mower but the service was great. All actioned very quickly with update emails. Only disappointment was that I opted for Second Class mail to keep the P&P down on such a small item and Royal Mail let me down.... it took 4 working days to be delivered!
I would certainly buy from GHS again.
