I paid a premium for 48 hour delivery of a drive belt. The wrong item was delivered. After phoning and a long wait on hold there was no apology, but I was told the correct belt would be sent out to me. It arrived today. And it was again the wrong belt. I understand mistakes happen, but twice in a row?

Terrible customer service. The Items I ordered, and chose Royal mail Tacked 24 from their menu options for delivery, have taken 5 days not to turn up. Customer services say it is my fault for choosing Royal mail Tracked 24 from their list of options?. the fact that it took them nearly 3 days to get the item to royal mail for despatch was ignored when i pointed it out. A 'not my problem' supplier with terrible Customer Service.

What a great company!. After trying several other garden machinery spares places and being sent the wrong part I found GHS and the chap there spent an inordinate amount of time tracking down the correct belt for my Haytor Condor verge mower. Because I couldn't find a machine number to help him he had to cross reference different manufacturers and go on my vague description of how the belt was positioned on the mower. Anyway after a lot of work on his part he sent me the correct one enabling me to finally cut my rather long grass. Thank you very much, I didn't quite catch the chaps name but he was brilliant and I highly, highly recommend GHS

I bought some unusual items for my ride on.
The staff were helpful and kept me fully informed of progress. Nice genuine company with good communication. In found Kayleigh to be exceptionally good in all our dealings.

Phoned for advice about the right part for our Suffolk Punch mower. Ordered part, delivered quickly. Good company to deal with.

I'm in the process of locating parts for my McMulloch MDAHT25 hedge trimmer and am talking to Garden Hire Spares.
I have no knowledge of the mechanics of this machine but I have to say a member of staff, who will remain anonymous on this forum, has been instrumental in identifying and locating the parts I need.
He has given me excellent and unequaled customer service.
I can thoroughly recommend this spares company and I WILL use them again.

Unsure which model of machine I had, but with grand guidance over the phone, all parts ordered for my Stiga Senator (blades, hubs and belts) and dispatched the same day, today.

Reasonably priced and fabulously great customer service.

Have read the 1* reviews and can understand the complaints regarding change of business model, however if folks are not sure what to order, don't gripe if you have ordered the wrong item...
Give them a call, let them provide you with the service they offer.

Ha, no inducements to do this review. Just good old fashioned feedback, for a good service.

Ordered an ignition coil which was advertised as correct for my machine but they sent the wrong type.
Rang them up and after Being on hold for a long time eventually spoke to Ed. He told me that that was the type of coil listed for my machine so he was unable to send me any other type.
Two emails showing the correct type were unanswered.
Returned coil for a refund but after they had deducted postage and I had paid return postage I was £10 out of pocket.
Bought the correct coil elsewhere.

Have sent 4 emails that I would like to cancel my order 4 days i a row and Did not get a response, now today i got a email that my order have been shipped and now I have to pay for return of the item 🙃

Easy to make an order. Very good communication by email. Items came by the courier that I paid for. Arrived on schedule. The product looks very well made and are a great price. I will be using this company again

Brilliant customer service - immensely helpful and very solution focused. From time to time i have gone elsewhere and i really don't know why i have done so as the service here is just brilliant. I was going to part exchange my mower in as i could not find the spare parts to fix all of the issues - dealt directly with Husqvarna for a while who were useless... GHS have been excellent.

I ordered a pull spring and cord for a Briggs & Stratton mower. The parts were as described, fitted and working properly.

The parts were dispatched quickly. However, Royal Mail sent the package from Worcester to Stafford via Chester, arriving a day late!

I ordered a clutch cable for my petrol driven lawnmower on Wednesday afternoon and by Friday it had arrived, packaged really carefully and very competitively priced. Excellent Customer Care

Ordered in the afternoon, delivered 11am next day. Excellent prices, well packed and a very wide range of products and parts. I will use again.

Ordered a pulley from these guys before 2pm. Had it by 4pm next day. And the pulley seems to be well made and what I want. And fair price to.

Terrible customer service.
Ive been buying from GHS for years and years.
Popping in for parts- spent thousands at least.
Turned up today to be told. Not interested in my business as they are only mail order.
Wouldnt even come down. I rang the bell for twenty minutes people walking by just looking at me before i finally had to telephone. Rude guy on phone just said- not interested order via internet.
Not interested in local business users.
Will never use again.

I placed an order, the goods didn't arrive next day causing me great inconvenience. I entered into numerous emails and their customer service is non existent. I won't be using this company again.

I had a fairly old lawnmower that needed it's blade replacing. Found these guys on eBay that sold the part for half the price of most sellers! Same day dispatch and received within two working days. Part itself seemed better quality than the original. Absolutely cannot fault them. Thank you so much!

I had a problem with my Honda lawn tractor and I telephoned Gardenhirespares for advice. One of their staff (Andy) took my call. He was extremely helpful and needed more info. He suggested I call back. When I did he had already found all the info and promptly emailed the diagrams I needed. The Company made no money from this transaction but earned my respect for their politeness and knowledge.
