Fountain
I bought a little fountain and it arrived safely, was easy to put together (even for someone like me!) and works very nicely. By the way, for anybody choosing one, it is worth getting one with options of heads: I thought I only wanted a "cone" effect but actually a traditional "spray fountain" looks much nicer now I see it installed and working.

A very acceptable alternative to a decrepit wooden arch
Prior to purchase I was concerned about the quality and durability of the product. I needn't have worried>
The arch is robust, easy to construct (although in mine there were a couple of bolt holes missing that were not essential) and rust treated.
Within a day the garden birds had accepted it!

Dishonest
cancelled a waterfall feature I paid for , yet they still shipped it after I cancelled , they want me to pay return cost and insurance ,and a £62 cancellation fee , I have not received the item yet , they would not cancel delivery ,costumer service a waste of time , A very underhanded and dishonest company , I would advise people to avoid at all costs

Thank you for your review and I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your comments in an effort to clarify the situation.
Firstly, it is untrue that we shipped the product after you had requested to cancel the order. As you can see from the Parcelforce tracking that is readily available to you (and was re-forwarded to you in response to your cancellation request), the goods were shipped prior to you emailing us to cancel the order on Mon, 12 Sept at 16:10. This was communicated to you together with the information that the water feature was at your local hub and scheduled for delivery the following day (13 Sept). As such, I can see that the team advised that, should you still wish to cancel the order, you could send the item back to us in exchange for a refund. With regards to the insurance, as a courtesy, we always recommend taking out the correct level of insurance so that you are covered should any damage to the item occur in transit, as we are under no obligation to action a refund should the product arrive not fit for re-sale. This is standard procedure and more information on this can be found in Section 8 of our Terms and Conditions.
Given the above information, I cannot understand how you can quantify your statement that we are an 'underhanded and dishonest company'.
I can see that the item was successfully delivered to you on 13 Sept and I hope you are satisfied with your purchase. Should you wish to discuss this further, please contact the team via email on customercare@gardensite.co.uk.

A satisfying experience is rare these days
I ordered a Greenhouse back in March, arrived within the recommended time-frame. Unfortunately a small part was missing from the greenhouse, However once contacting Gardensite, they were extremely quick to react to my situation and had the problem resolved within 24 hours. These things happen, but the helpful, friendly staff on the phones are the exact reason I will be returning in the future with confidence.
The Greenhouse has been up and completed for several months now and I could not be happier with the product, and my after sales experience.

Don’t buy from this company as customer…
In reply from the company they didn’t state that to send someone to inspect the shed I would of had to pay, plus they stated in one reply that sheds are not waterproof so what is the point of a shed, also told me we should of used silicone but in the instructions it does not say anything about silicone, looking at a previous review that person had the same problem so there is a fault in these sheds, but they will not take the responsibility but will take your money.

Although the Customer Care team has already discussed this matter with you extensively via several different channels of communication (email, letter and phone), I would like to take this opportunity to provide a public response in an effort to offer a more balanced overview of the situation.
In short, the crooks of the matter is that you were unable to provide sufficient evidence to support your statement that the shed is 'faulty'. It is industry standard to ask customers to provide images/videos of any perceived areas of concern that they may have with their product prior to online companies agreeing to provide replacement parts (if applicable). Having looked through our previous communications with you, I can see that the Customer Care team requested clearer images from you on several occasions which, unfortunately, did not materialise. The photo that you sent of the 'leak' was simply a copious amount of paper tissues stuffed into a roof panel, and another of a puddle of water on the floor. I'm sure you can appreciate that this cannot be taken as sufficient proof of any structural or manufacturing defect with the product, as you claim. More information about this can be found in Section 9 of our Terms and Conditions.
In the absence of adequate evidence and in an effort to further help the situation, we requested a Job Report from the third-party company you employed to erect the shed on your behalf. Any accredited installation company should provide these to their customers as standard not only to document their work but also to keep for their own records (should for any reason a customer make a complaint or question the workmanship at a later date). Again, you were unable to provide us with this.
In a final effort to further investigate your concerns, we offered to send an independent team to your property to inspect the shed and produce an official Job Report of the product and a separate report on the assembly, which you refused. This would have helped greatly in ascertaining whether the issue was with the manufacture of the shed, as you pertain, or whether the concerns raised were a result of the independent (and potentially incorrect) assembly. This service would have been provided at no extra cost to yourself should issues with the shed itself have been found (as opposed to issues arising due to the way in which the product was assembled).
Given the above, I feel our Customer Care team used their best endeavors to help in several different ways and I am not sure what else they could have done given the circumstances.
Lastly, to address your concerns about speaking with the manager, I'm sure you can appreciate that he is not always available to take customer calls, hence why we have a dedicated Customer Care team that are more than capable of resolving any customer concerns without the need for his involvement.

Don’t purchase from this company
Purchased a garden statue from this company , states that this is made from marble resin composite. Had it just over a year when I noticed that paint had started to peal of this statue, this should have not happened. States in their site that this is suitable for garden and is if robust material . Have got in touch with this company (also trading as Hall’s Garden Supplies, Sutton Coldfield Birmingham), showing photos of the pealing on the statue, either asking for a replacement statue or full refund. The company has not offered either, except £120 refund , which is not suitable as the statue is now rendered useless . I open my garden for the National Garden Scheme , so this statue will be viewed by visitors. I have contacted Trading Standards , who says I am in my right to ask for a replacement or full refund as the product is substandard and not fit for purpose. The company has stated it is out of its warranty period , statues last more than a year. After numerous letters, I will now be taking this company to the small claims court . I absolutely advise any others who have purchased products which are not fit for purpose , you have your rights which last much longer than the year warranty . A very silly company that should have agreed with the customer and given a replacement or refund. Also due to the amount of visitors to my open garden, any one who asks about the statue, I will tell them never go and purchase from this company. I note that looking at other reviews, there have also been some very unhappy customers who have purchased garden products from their site. Please do look elsewhere where you will be treated with courtesy, a replacement or refund. I would actually give O stars ⭐️

Great company for Garden items
Recently purchase a new bulb for my Oase filter and arrived well packaged and delivered on the date advised.
I needed a new transformer for my pond lights and with no hesitation I searched on Gardensite and found them in stock. It was delivered earlier than advised and was well packaged.
I would certainly use this company again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Be Aware of unrealistic T&C's
We recently purchased a Chinese 3 tier pagoda from this company.
The pagoda was delivered on a pallet into our driveway.
The pallet was wrapped in tight heavy duty plastic wrapping and it took over 30 minutes to unwrap the package and take out the 3 individual pieces for placement which totalled 80 kg into our garden.
We immediately identified that the 2nd tier of the pagoda had identical damage on two of the corners and we contacted customer services whom requested photographic evidence which we sent on the same day of receipt.
We phoned customer services a week later as we hadn't heard anything and they advised that they were awaiting response from the suppliers.
We then received an email offering a paltry £20 as a goodwill gesture to close the case as they referred us back to their T&C's which states we have 10 minutes to unwrap and check delivery contents and report any damages to driver.
They then offered to replace the 2nd tier at a raw cost of £139.99.
We feel this is unjust as the total some of the pagoda with delivery is £294.99
As there was no evidence within the packaging to indicate the the item had been damaged during transit the only conclusion we can make is that this was a manufacturing error.
We are extremely disheartened that this company has basically fobbed us off with a defective garden ornament and used their unrealistic T&C's to just walk away. Basically once they have your money they hide behind their T&C's and are not interested in providing a customer service.

Thank you for your review. Whilst I do understand your frustrations, I would like to provide this response so that our customers can see a fair and balanced overview of your experience.
With regards to the manner in which the item was delivered, all of the relevant information (including the weight of 80kg) is provided on the product page for customers to consider prior to making a purchase. Furthermore, the unpacking terms are also clearly stated under the 'Unloading Of Your Delivery' header (also on the product page), where it advises the following: 'Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.'
Having looked into your case, I can see that no reports were made to the driver prior to his departure and, therefore, we are unable to make a claim to the manufacturer on your behalf.
I am disappointed to read your negative comments towards our customer service. I can see that our Customer Care team offered 2 solutions in an effort to resolve the issue, including a goodwill gesture in the form of a partial refund, or, alternatively, to send out a replacement 2nd tier. However, I understand that you refused both of these offers. Please also note that the cost provided to you to send out a replacement 2nd tier was a raw cost passed to us directly from the manufacturer from which we do not profit. Given this, I have to dispute your comment that we are 'not interested in providing a customer service' and, adversely, feel that we have made all reasonable endeavours to be as accommodating as possible given the circumstances.
Lastly, may I clearly state that we do not 'hide' behind our Terms and Conditions - they are readily available and accessible on every page of our website and, by shopping with www.gardensite.co.uk, you agree to and accept these in their entirety.
I do apologise for any inconvenience and would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that the goodwill gesture or offer to send out a replacement 2nd tier is still available should you wish to proceed in either of these manners.

Brilliant service...delivered to Scotland with no drama.
Brilliant service...delivered to Oban, Scotland in two days via Royal Mail (the only courier service that does what it says). So many English companies think you have to get a ferry to Scotland and don't realise you can actually drive here........ poor grasp of geography in most cases knowledge. None of this with GardensSite thank goodness....a company serious about staying in business and serving the whole of the UK.

Avoid this company, they refuse refunds!
Avoid this company as they do not offer you refunds when they deliver faulty products.
I bought a metal shed from this company, it looked great on the pictures, description looked great - In reality, it was a cheap, flimsy, poorly manufactured product and worst of all - turned up damaged in regards to multiple parts of the shed.
1) The roof did not sit flush, letting rain in. Gardensite kept telling me I had built the foundations on an uneven surface - I hadn't. I built it on my perfectly flat decking. I even provided picture proof with a spirit level proving it was flat, they still refused a refund.
2) The doors do not sit flush, letting rain in. Gardensite said a gap in the door was normal - why would a shed that is vulnerable to the elements, have a 2cm gap in-between the doors, where's the logic in that?
3) The plastic air vents were bent, once again, letting rain in.
4) There are 3 screw holes on the front of the shed that are too large for the screws that it tells you to use. This means that they just fall out when you try to put them in.
Best of all, absolutely nowhere on the website advert for the Oxford Grey 7x4ft metal shed does it tell you as a customer that this shed is not waterproof. Now usually, things that are situated outside are typically waterproof. For example, when you buy a car, it doesn't specifically mention that it is waterproof, but of course, you just expect it to be... This was my logic with an OUTDOOR shed. Why would you want an outdoor shed that let's in rainwater. I purposely bought this shed to keep my lawnmower, strimmer and headge trimmer in, which obviously is impractical if it lets all of the rain water in.
So I go to gardensite to tell them about the multiple problems with my product, expecting them to either offer replacement parts of a full refund - Considering it's not just one fault, there's 4 different faults. But, no... No refund, and then they have the cheek to patronise me and ask me if I'm sure I've built it correctly.
This is the only product I've ever bought, in my whole life, that when it's faulty the company does not just automatically refund, especially with so much evidence!
You may be wondering what their suggested resolution was to "fix" my broken shed - They want me to "waterproof" my shed. They want me to spend even more money, time and effort to waterproof something that should already be waterproof. Ridiculous.
Do NOT use this company. Maybe if you receive a product with no faults, it would be okay... But I will never be using this company again. Ever.

Having erected the shed I was a bit diss appointed that the apex was NOT over the door as normal sheds are. Told the company about this but they never had the courtesy to reply. After spending close on £750 I would have thought that I would have at least received a reply from them. Very poor after sales service. They have had the money so could not care less with after sales. Won’t be using them in the future. !! Very disappointed.

Transformed the patio area
Delighted with the purchase, product quality and price. Of even greater significance it was a pleasure to deal with the company as their customer service was first class. I had a small issue with a damaged post for the gazebo , which we noticed whilst unpacking. Rang the company and got through straight away. Followed up with an email and a confirmation that a replacement post was on its way- no quibbling. Kept us informed throughout. Top company would be more than happy to repeat buy and recommend to friends.
