I never signed up for GCash, but someone did using my email.

The GCash team kept messaging me about my "lost sim card" preventing me from accessing my GCash account. Which sounded like a scam related to identity left.

I kept explaining to them that I didn't have an account, but I wanted the account closed so my identity couldn't be stolen.

I wrote them around 15 times each time them responding about how I needed to find my lost sim card.

Finally they said someone from their team would reach to me to resolve the situation over a video call. No one ever reached out and now when I message them I am getting an automated message about they won't read my email and I need to sign into my account (which I can't do because I never opened an account).

I have never had tech support before that refuses to read what you are actually saying aprox 15 times in a row. That has to be some kind of a record.

Now I don't know if GCash is being used to steal my identity or not and there is nothing I can do.

Grabe ang stress at hassle na naranasan ko sa GCash. Hinold yung account ko basta basta without verifying kung totoo ngang nang-scam ako or nagkamali lang ng report yung complainant. Sana next time vineverify niyo muna thoroughly at hinihingian ng proof before kayo mag-action agad! Sobrang frustrating kasi andun lahat ng transactions sa business ko. 2016 pa ako GCash user tas ngayon ko lang to naranasan!

eto fresh ngayon lang sept 20 2024. na scam ako dun sa casino ni gcash. meron kang makikita na mga casino sites dun sa games ng app. nag deposit ako ng 500+ then nag start nako naglaro.hanggang sa pumaldo ako nag scatter sa wild bandito. ung win ko dun is nasa 4k+ pero ang pinasok nila sa wallet ko 400 plus lang. like wth!?? dba ganun ka. scam sa s5 casino at sa gcash. meron dn akong mga proof dito. hndi nila ako pina withdraw dun sa natirang panalo ko. gusto nila ubusin sa laro ung pero na deposit mo. eto pa masaklap every spin mo hndi tugma sa bet na linagay mo. ang pandarata nila is kunyare nag bet 20 ka ang ibabawas nila sa wallet mo is 50/60/70 ganyan. nagulat ako ung 1200 ko apat na spin palang sa bet 10 ko 800 nlang. ganyan sila manloko kaya ginawa ko nirecord ko tru screen record ang pandaraya nila. inhave proofs sa kanila

They changed my name without my express approval, adding a letter to my name, and now, 4 months in, their support and escalations team still can't change it back to original.

I've reported them to BSP but until now there's nothing.

I was trying to transfer money from UNObank savings to gcash wallet. I cannot receive the OTP since last night. Until now I am trying to transfer but still no OTP. I have already reported this. Still not resolved. May important pa namang babayaran today. Hassle!

my mom's gcash wallet and ggives was compromised. her gcash wallet was charged for a loan payment without authorization and there was a loan taken out from her ggives. 29k was the total amount taken. raised a ticket and emailed them about the issue. she was blocked from emailing them back. no response whatsoever.

Bakit diko ma open gcash ko..kahit nagsesend ng OTP then correct naman yunG OTP tapos di ako maka log in. Anong problema application niyo, ayusin niyo naman may laman yung gcash ko pambayad sa tuition ko. until now sinusubukan kong mag log in pero ayaw paren.

My pastor sent 500 pesos to my friend, para food nya at sa mga Anak nya last Wednesday pero Hindi pa nagrereceive Ng kaibigan ko Ang Pera until now.. can refund the money kaya ?

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!

The phone number provides several options none of which will connect you to a person. Their chatbot GiGi cannot offer anything or connect you with an actual person. After raising a ticket you get an automated response and nothing else. If you use gfunds or their crypto wallet at any time you could be locked out of your account with absolutely no possible resolution. There ID and face recognition are done in China and you have absolutely no protection as to its security.

This could be a good wallet provider but their complete lack of customer service makes them a pass for anything other than tiny amounts of money.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

My recipient friend in Philippines was unable to log into her account yesterday, along with many others who had the same problem.

When she DID eventually manage to log in, the money that I sent her on 24th Aug was MISSING.
I have the receipt, as she does also, for the transaction.
When I sent it on 24th, it was showing as received and IN her e-wallet account----IT IS NO LONGER THERE.

There is no one to contact at Gcash--and if you want to make a complaint, there is a 15 day wait!!

This is UNACCEPTABLE---and you, TRUSTPILOT, should NOT be having companies like this on your website.

My issue was Gcredit did an auto deduction on my funds even though my minimum amount due is still in 15 days. Their article about auto deduction clearly states that the auto deduction starts on the day of my due date and I've been using Gcredit for many years now and this is the first time I experience that they did an invalid auto deduction. I tried submitting a ticket but the support agent is very unhelpful and keeps on repeating his response: "Please be advise that after 15 days that is your due date and still the auto deduction is valid due to your billing date is already posted" I keep on explaining to this person or bot that its not valid because its still not yet my due date. Tried to contact their call center 2882 but was only told to just go to their help center or chat with GIGI. So basically, their customer support is 100% BS!!!!!!!

Gcash has poor customer service. Zero accomodation to requests and lacks troubleshooting of individual situations.

Just terrible customer service. Gcash is ok when you have no problems and encounter no issues. If you do, they do not reply and once enough time has elapsed, they will close your ticket and say you didn't include the region when you put your address even though you included the postcode, which indicates region. It just feels like a huge scam.

Edit: they sorted out my problem after 5 months. I added 1 star because it was fixed, but wow, that's a long time.

Same experience as the rest. Scammy practices. I don't even know why they are allowed to operate as a bank in the Philippines

This company thrives on keeping Philippines suppressed and keeping the Filipinos lives from growth. I'm a balikbayan and I live here at least 6 to 8 months out of the year. I've applied for a GCash account to encourage cashless transactions. GCash act like no one can't live without their App. They want all your information and your first born: they want to know how much you make, business license, address of where you work, a snap shot of your sim card from your phone setting, a selfie holding your sim card, two IDs, a copy my signature, proof of my earnings, a copy of the bank I'm associated with and so on... So strange and outdated policies. So why do they need to know everything about my life when it's my money I'm moving around with? With all these personal information, they are putting my personal security at risk -- contradiction to PII protection. Also, I called the phone provided online and the recording insist that i chat with gigi, the bot. But all gigi provides is a form to submit a ticket for any issues, then they hang up (btw, the form asks the same information when I applied). Moving forward, once you submit the ticket, all you get is an automated email. On the email it says, it will take 7 days to verify (by the way, it's taking more than 7 days). Furthermore, it say, "only reply to this email if you can't login to your App but we may not read this email"....WHAT?!?! It's like going around in circles like a dog chasing its tail with this company. No help whatsoever and they sure try their best to make your life hell. They are like robots, only do what's told and can't think outside the box thus, they can't provide support. That's why Philippines will continue to stay behind technology compare to other countries because of companies like this. They don't believe in giving people chance even though I've proven I just want to live a normal life and use their app to conduct business. I hope other companies step in to give them a good competition. Good luck Philippines!!!
