ABSOLUTELY USELESS!! It was suggested to me to download to app and sign up. Mistake, what an arduous nightmare! After being asked intrusive questions and uploading identification I was subsequently refused, maybe because I'm not Filipino - then advise me of this in the beginning! So, I then tried to amend the application using my Filipino partners name and details, OH NO!you can't amend details until you have been verified! So, I then tried to delete the account - it can take up to five days to delete - USELESS - What a terrible service and complete waste of my time and effort to get nowhere.

Gcash is not safe, may account was scammed. An unauthorized transaction was made, and deducted 4500 PHP from my account.

Have Tried for two days with their stupid app and about 40 times to do a face scan photo to get verification. It's useless. No way to contact them to tell them you are having trouble being verified. I just did a verification on trust pilot without a problem and similar verification works on Maya app and Trust wallet app, apps also dealing with money, but can't get verified on gcash. But in a way i'm glad because if you had any problems with sending or receiving money on gcash, you would get no help. Their stupid robot GIGI messanger doesn't even work, I lost all my credit trying to call them. Their gcash app is total rubbish.

WORST CUSTOMER SEVICE! The promised 24hrs is not real not even 48-72hrs!!! It’s like 24days!!!

Gcash is not trusted to send money. I was surprised that they were asking me to register another new number in fact the number that I'm using is already registered and fully verified the other day I sent money to my son through Gcash and my Son can’t open his Gcash. This is strange. You don’t even tell us the reason why it's an error or why I need to register for another number. Fix your service because a lot of people right now are posting on their social media accounts about your bad service.

Worst customer support ever, i use my gcash card to withdraw money from an ATM but the machine did not dispense the cash so i complain to the ATM bank and create ticket on my gcash help center since Oct 31, 2024 until now November 7 i haven't receive update from them even just an update on my gcash help center. guys do not use your GCash ATM card for withdrawing money it's a trap of losing hard earned money.

However, GCash’s customer service keeps advising me to check the ticket status within the app, even though I’ve repeatedly mentioned that I’m unable to access the app to see the updates.

2. App Malfunctions

The GCash app frequently hangs or freezes, which prompted me to uninstall and reinstall it. Unfortunately, this step hasn’t solved the issue, and the app remains unresponsive, preventing me from accessing the ticket. This issue with the app is the main reason I requested updates through email instead, but customer service still insists on the app as the only communication channel for tracking my ticket.

3. OTP Delivery Problems

Since reinstalling the app, I’ve been unable to log in because I’m not receiving the OTP (One-Time Password) required for account access. Being in Kuwait, I suspect regional restrictions might be interfering with the OTP delivery, adding yet another barrier to resolving this issue.

4. Unhelpful Customer Support

Despite explaining my inability to access the app, GCash’s support responses remain repetitive and unhelpful. I’ve requested communication via email, hoping to track my ticket and receive guidance, yet each reply only redirects me back to the app, which isn’t functional. Alternative Support Channels: It would be highly beneficial if GCash allowed customers to manage tickets through email or other channels, especially when app access isn’t possible.

Better OTP Support: Offering more reliable OTP delivery for users abroad or providing an alternative login method could resolve regional issues with SMS delivery.

Final Thoughts

For anyone outside the Philippines or frequently on the move, I’d advise caution in using GCash for significant transactions. The app issues, combined with limited customer service options, make it challenging to resolve issues effectively, especially if you’re unable to access the app itself. bad interface now charges you fees for every little thing used to be good but now complete rubbish with what i was doing on there platform cost went from zero to 1800 peso a month conbine this with otps often not turning up transaction getting bcc3-422 errors all the time and customer service well a complete joke i think there go out of there way to make it hard to resolve a problem or make it take the most time possible not to mention the loan service legal interest in philippines 12%pa gloan 36 to 60% there are robing the philippine people blind such a bad app

I have used G Cash for two years. Most times it works properly so it's easy to forget that you really can't trust that it will work when you really need it. When there is a problem logging in, the system will say something is wrong, but won't tell you what specifically is wrong. They love using "try again later." I was trying to send money to my friend's nephew for ice cream. That will have to wait.

the most expensive financial service in the world , the gcrypto service is scam , they tell you the fees in the website and charge you double sometimes more, stay away , use any alternatives , use cash , use anything but gcash .

Horible app, no help. i used it two times and still have money involved, now they have shut down my account with 0 intentions of giving me my money back before i give them 10 government id's and my information. Huge breach of privacy. DONT USE THIS APP

They promise to solve my account issue not receiving money within 24 hours. BIG JOKE. Now after 3 weeks I am still waiting and now they have prolonged their solving time to 48 hours.

I know that they will close my account after this message and yes I am happy to loose 200 euro just to write this message about the company that do not care about their paying customers.

I got fraudulently deducted by a merchant (Google) twice which I have never subscribed and never have linked my account with the said merchant but, GCash is insisting that those two auto deductions are authorized. Gcash is totally useless and just keeps on giving me a run around instead of providing me a credit back as what the banks does.

Really bad experience with Gcash. I had an unauthorized transaction without OTP. When I filed a complaint with Gcash, they just dismissed and closed my case. They did not even try to help and I had to contact BSP to even get a response from Gcash after more than 24 hours. Their Gcash card is not safe at all and their customer service is non-existent. Please do your own research and be careful! Don't leave a big amount on Gcash and always check your account balance.

GCash, including Lucky Games in your app is truly disappointing. It feels like you're taking advantage of GCash's popularity and exploiting Filipinos' vulnerabilities and addiction to gambling. No one has ever truly won in gambling; in fact, less than 1% of gamblers come out ahead. This is pushing many into financial ruin. You know better—this isn't acceptable!

Receive money gcash account number

Have had a recent issue with my GCredit and I've contacted them several times since July of this year but they have not made any significant progress. When you call the hotline, they are of no use as their actions are limited to none. Ongoing issue still till today and it looks like it will go on... Today I spoke with someone from the hotline, her name was Shel/Chel(?) and she sighed in exasperation when I asked her to have a look at my conversation history... imagine, she sighed in exasperation!! And asked that I be patient because the escalation team was "looking" into it already, girl, the team has been "looking" into this issue since July and not a thing happened, and today GCash had the audacity to deduct a bigger amount than the minimum due??? And when I asked for a refund, all I could be told was "we'll get back to you within 2 business days".
