Fantastic idea to rent your unused gear and bake a little money on the side.
The renting process is relatively easy, it could use more reminders and clear step by steps after both the renter and owner agree on a renting period.
I wasn't notified that I had to take a picture of the renters ID and a photo of them with their ID next to their face on the platform and that I wouldn't be able to just upload it afterwards.
Overall it's a great site and hopefully I get to rent more of my gear when it's not in use.

The inscription process was designed by a real idt... I perfectly understand the need to make a picture of ID and a selfie, but it wont work if your webcam cant shoot near objects, and if you swith to your phone is even worst, it just dont let you switch cameras or zoom, the selfie you have to hold your id in your hand while shooting with your phone pushing a tiny button on the screen that is hidden (need to scroll to show it)... areal mess, third time I made an attempt to veryfy (they said picture was blurry, and I KNOW it was a little blurry but everything could be readen perfectly), lets see if this time works

It certainly is a legit and trustworthy website. Had my controller hired and it was a very smooth process.

Booking works fine. The UI is not very intuitive and difficult to navigate. I definitely preferred the UX in wedio over gearbooker. That being said I haven't had any real problems, and I'm able to rent out my gear and get paid pretty easily.

Gearbooker is een zeer een aanrader als je een fototoestel of lens wil aankopen maar deze eerst wil testen.

Ik heb onlangs gebruikgemaakt van Gearbooker en ik ben zeer tevreden met mijn ervaring. De website is fijn in gebruik; alles is duidelijk en overzichtelijk. Het is gemakkelijk om de juiste apparatuur te vinden en te huren, wat het proces enorm handig maakt. De informatie is goed gestructureerd en ik vond snel wat ik nodig had. Ik kan Gearbooker zeker aanraden aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een betrouwbare plek om te huren!

Lots of communication and notifications to remind you about your booking. They are quite meticulous when it comes to user verification, which is a good thing. Will use again!
