UK Social Housing Investment
Global Investments connected me with a unique opportunity to purchase a property in the UK that will be used for social housing. It comes with a guaranteed 25 lease with a local housing association, meaning I can depend on consistent monthly rental income for the next two and a half decades, and I don't even have to worry about maintenance or tenants either.
Living in the US, I was unfamiliar with this type of program or the fact that it can serve as a solid hands-off investment as I increasingly try to diversify outside of the United States. Because this was a new concept to me, I had plenty of questions, but Barrie was great at explaining everything and getting back to me promptly whenever I had any questions. He helped to demystify the process and offered insights that encouraged me to pursue an investment that I probably would have never known about otherwise, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the stability of returns guaranteed for years to come.

Hi Lucas, ( Mindworker LLC ), first of all I have to say that I am surprised at your review as you have bought 3 excellent properties and as you know all 3 houses on Forest Avenue, Addison Rd and Durkee Avenue were refurbished.
In relation to the condition and situation with each house and the rents etc.
Property 1. Forest Avenue - As you know the management company have placed 2 paying tenants in both units. You have a cash flowing Duplex.
Property 2 Addison Avenue - The renovations are now complete. Apologies in the delay in finishing but as you know it was a huge renovation but the good news is after personally visiting the property with your property manager last week ( In Cleveland ) they commented that it was one of the nicest renovations they have seen and have tenants ready to move in next week. As you know Lucas these types of investments are long term not short term so once the house is up and running I am sure you will see great cash flow now.
Property 3 Durkee Avenue - You only closed on this property in December last year. The renovations took some time but we did explain this as we had Christmas and New Year and also weather in Cleveland has not been the best which meant we could not finish the exterior but this is now done and our Aftersales department sent 50 pictures to your management company of the completed work only yesterday . Even more great news Lucas as you know your management company is in the process of placing a tenant for you. And this property appraised for $43k more than what you paid for it which I believe you are in the process of releasing.
Summing up Lucas I am sure you can see why we are surprised to see your review. All 3 houses you have will be up and running soon and cash flowing.

I started to invest in/with this company early 2023.
In my experience they have always been very supportive and informative, I've never had any issues with them, and, working abroad a lot where comms (tel/Internet) are not always available they have always kept an eye on my business interests.
I am currently in the process of investing for an additional property.
Recommend in my opinion, hence 5 Starts.

STOP, DON'T BUY - Absolutely a Scam
Absolutely a scam, I buy my first property and they didn't answer emails, they give me a property with so many additional repairs to do, I have lost additional 10k and a lot of frustrating time and effort. Please don't buy any property from them. Very unprofessional and really bad experience. His owner id very disrespectful and didn't take care of their customers.

I am very disappointed reading this review and I would like to clarify the facts, what you are saying is unfounded and derogatory especially using the word Scam, as you know this is not your first review and last year we helped you move your property to another management company and also financially contributed towards your property due to the issues you had when closing. ( Which of course can happen with any real estate transaction )
In relation to your comments on the lack of response and not answering emails this is also not the case, we have been in constant communication.
I think the decision by your management company to do the maintenance work needed was the correct decision in order to facilitate the move in of a tenant but this work would have been covered by the assigned contractor if he had been given the opportunity to carry out the work. This is no fault of ours and this is something you should be discussing with your property manager Nicholas and not posting a bad review on Global.
I do not think it is fair or correct to say Global have ignored you or the situation when all we have done is tried to help you in the best possible way.
I would also like to clarify your comments on the loss of an additional $10,000 is not correct when the majority of that money is being utilised on a new heating system fourteen months after you took ownership.
Also I would love to point out Nicolas that if you actually look at the real estate market in Cleveland you should be posting a 5 star review not a 1 star as you have paid $72,900 for a Duplex Property in Goodrich Park right next to Asia Town. If you are not aware Nicholas Duplex houses like the one you have purchased one year ago are now selling for as much as $120,000 in this area and Zillow has the property estimated at at least $102k so I would estimate that you have made at least 41% growth on your initial investment. ( You are welcome ) Not a loss of $10,000.
Nicolas I would be more than happy to speak with you on the phone and you have my number, I think to talk things over rather than posting incorrect reviews is a more amicable way to communicate.

Knowledgable and trustworthy company.
After a bad experience with another broker in the U.S. I was sceptical about buying again. I wish I had come to these guys first! Barrie put me completely at ease and was very knowledgable. He didn't rush me into anything instead he urged me to take my time and find the right house for me. In January I purchased a multi family property in Cleveland that is rented out and Im receiving my monthly income as promised. There have been some costs with repairs etc but this is to be expected with rental properties and the management company have handled this for me. I do intend to buy another property later this year and would only now consider buying through Global Investments.

Great company to deal with
Great company to deal with and helped us with the entire process of buying our first property in Cleveland, Ohio, they really do help with everything! Richard the accountant was super helpful with setting up our US company, bank acc etc and also Pablo at the mortgage company helping us to re finance on our property in a few months and hope to be able to buy another house. Also a big thanks to Michael and John for guiding and helping us through everything.

Right partner to do good investments
They really helped me to find a property that matches my needs. Their network of people in the area ( property managers, insurance , lenders ,etc) made my life easier.
I was able to close the deal in a remote state that without their support and guide its almost impossible to do.
The opportunities they bring to the table are good investments

Over the past few months I have…
Over the past few months I have purchased 2 properties in Canton, Ohio with Global Investments. I purchased the properties using finance and as I am based in Sweden I was not sure if I could even get a mortgage. Barrie helped me find two very nice houses and put me in touch Christine from the Mortgage Shop. They have been great in helping obtain a mortgage on both houses and the process has been very straight forwards and I am very happy with everything. My first property in Canton closed a couple of months ago and I have a nice tenant in place and the management is also very good. My 2nd property has just closed and just waiting on a new tenant to go in. I wanted to wait to get these two up and running before I purchased anymore houses and I am now very happy to say that I have just secured my 3rd property located in Cleveland. I would recommend any one looking to invest into the UK to speak to Barrie or anyone at Global as they have been great. Samuel.

Buying overseas property

We were very impressed with how smooth and efficient our purchase went. This was our first buy to let overseas property having owned multiple in the UK for many years. We had obviously basic knowledge, did our homework and common sense but Mike and his team talked is through it with patience and humour and pointed out many things we did not contemplate.
