Disappointing Service and Unresolved Refund Issue
I am extremely disappointed with GNC's customer service. It has been over 10 days since I requested a refund, and I am yet to see any resolution. Despite repeated follow-ups, their agents have been unhelpful and showed little to no interest in resolving my issue. Every interaction has been frustrating, with no clear answers or effort to expedite the process.
To add to the disappointment, the products themselves are not up to the mark and fail to meet basic expectations. I expected much better from a brand like GNC, but this experience has left a very sour taste. I will not be purchasing from them again, and I caution others to be wary of their lack of customer care.

They send out products that have little to no shelf life left, out of date or close to. Then they ignore you when you contact them online. Poor service, poor products. Make sure you complaint to the product manufacturer about the products they are selling on their behalf because it gives them a bad name too!
Whole Company Is a Scam
I live in a dorm and they require me to put my mailbox number after my name. I have been able to do that at any other website except GNC. I used to be a store manager for this company and they do nothing but rip everyone off for money. Both customers and employees. It's a scam company, which isn't surprising considering their parent company, Harbin Pharmaceuticals, is part-owned by the CCP (yes, feel free to google that if you don't believe me).
Quite honestly considering myself having dodged a bullet with not being able to order from them. Saved me $100 I can have spent elsewhere and get more for my buck.

This must be the worst company I have ever ordered from online. First they give you the impression that they have a local site. I ordered from Australia, from a supposedly Aus site. This would give an impression that shipping rates will minimal. This will also give the impression that the cost is in local currency. Once you order you will realise, like in my case, that a AUD34.00 product actually costs more than AUD90.00 and will take almost a month to reach me. Then you try to cancel even before the transaction goes through and you are told that they are unable to do that. I will now cancel after I receive the product, and will lose US19.00 shipping charges. I am of the opinion this will be profits for them as they use the slowest delivery at the highest prices. Shameful practises. Good thing is, I used PayPal who always takes care of their customers.

I ordered from the GNC website on September 4, 2024; it was Wednesday, the regular business day, and it is now September 16, 2024, and I have yet to get my order. On their website, it says 3-5 business days, and you can see how many business days have gone, yet I still haven't received my item. I called customer support last Monday, September 9, to check on the status and after placing order on 4 and on 9 the label was created. I tried to cancel at the time, but they did not, and I phoned customer service every day until now, but there was no good response, and they are hanging up the phone, so I am caught between now and never buying from gnc again.

I ordered some products from GNC, after a week when I didnt recieve them I called to ask and then I get to know my order cant be processed because an item thats also was a freebie was out of stock.
Why I never get informed of this??
Then they requested they will again order it and process it soon, but even after a day, no updates on that.
Their customer support doesnt pick up after long waiting, without even using their products, worst experience already.
I am still waiting for someone to pick up call so I can cancel.
Now I am stuck, I want to order from somewhere else, but I cant cancel my items here. So guys buy at your own risk.

This is the WORST health company to order from. The past 2 times I have placed an online order it has come in damaged. I follow their protocols send them pictures as they request and they still do not replace the damaged products, they just want to give me a measly discount. NO I WANT MY PRODUCT I PAID FOR REPLACED. So I recommend people DO NOT to order from GNC go to The Vitamin Shop they actually care about their customers.
Do not recommend - worst experience
I wish I checked the reviews before buying there. I bought 4 products - 2 shakes, 2 boxes of gut probiotics, the box didn’t arrive. Went to costumer services where they stated that the delivery was done correctly and I should (in their words): reach out to your local authorities or the carrier. I didn’t hire the carrier, they did. Very bad and unhelpful costumer services. I never thought I would have this kind of problem with such a big company. Box was poorly packed, box was too big and clumsy, tape was thin and could reach both flaps. And here I’m just assuming products felt from the poorly packed box… but it still the company obligation to delivery all the products safely and correct.
China Company with Gulfball Clumps
I'd give below 1 star review after multiple issues.
1) ordered online 50% of order ruptured in the shipping box which arrived saturated. Corporate would only give me $5 refund.
2) Ordered Wheybolic 40 Vanilla two cases in store with a buy one get one 50% off. Produced was clumped into gulf ball size pudding thick clumps. I also used a purchase $90 get $20 off and redeemed points as I was a Pro member. Returned product and lost those other money savings benefits and manager told me she couldn't do anything about it. I spoke to corporate who blammed the manager and vice versa.
3) I wanted to get my “free” Pro member product for the new month. Manager said comeback tomorrow as you already have me a negative sale for the day.
Needless to say I am done with GNC which is owned by a company out of China.

Useless spammers. I haven't ever signed up to their mailing list. Despire that, I've been getting 1 or more emails per day. I've asked to unsubscribe multiple times.
Incredibly disappointed with customer…
Incredibly disappointed with customer service response to shipping issue. Ordered supplements and a box of protein bars. First picture is what inside of box looked like when received. Products just thrown in box without packing materials. Box of protein bars was previously opened and they were scattered all over the bottom of box with many of them in damaged condition. I asked for a credit on the protein bars. Customer service refused and only offered a discount on a future order. Alternatively they told me I could drive to a store myself to return them. At my time and cost. Unacceptable customer service response and they have lost me as a customer.

Will never step foot in one of these stores again!!! Went in to get an item that fits my eating habits and issues and was told by the clerk that serious fitness people don’t eat this certain product. He then went on to tell me that he “meal preps” and eats “real food”. As if don’t. He knows nothing about me but felt comfortable giving me advice and basically putting my choice of product down. These employees are not nutritionists nor are they medical professionals so they have no right to say one word about what the customer purchase.

This is the Worst COMPANY I have ever seen.
Ordered 9 items online , only received 3 of them. When I called to let them know , they kept telling me that they have to investigate to see what happened. They couldn’t do anything else. I kept getting different people with the same exact script. I felt like they were just trained to say the same exact b.s. No help at all.
I haven’t received the missing items or a refund. This company is scam ! Do not order anything from them.
Online ordering is a joke
Should of read reviews beforehand. Long time GNC member but I've always purchased in store. 1st time I ordered online as they didn't have what I needed at the storefront.
I paid extra for overnight shipping on a $200 order. This was on a Monday, Cut to Thursday and its still not shipped. I received a refund on the shipping cost only after calling to complain. It is now Friday and STILL not shipped.
Why even offer expedited services and you cant fulfill them
Customer Service is worthless.
I've purchased in stores for years now. No real issues there as they have what I need. However, my partner will sometimes go in for me so I've had two email accounts on record for them. No big deal.
One time in-store shopping I decided to purchase the pro plan. The associate rang me up and supposedly attached the pro plan to an account based on the phone number, and that was that.
Months later when trying to restock and use the Pro Plan it was NOT attached to either account. I emailed CS they said they'd consolidate my accounts, and attach the plan as they saw I did purchase it. In between the 48-hour waiting periods of CS reply, I just went to the store.
Now months later I still have no Pro Plan access, loss of points due to the consolidation, and 4 CS associates who cannot return an email trying to get it resolved.
Moral of the story: if you shop in-store it's fine. If you need to rely on them for anything outside of that you're better off just going entirely elsewhere. Their CS is absolutely worthless.
Worst Service EVER!
I made an online purchase in December 2023. The order never arrived. I looked online and found that the order was damaged during shipping and returned to GNC. I contacted them and asked that it be re-sent. They said they were not re-sending, but reimbursing my credit card account. I still have not been reimbursed. I have contacted them a number of times since. Now they say that I have been reimbursed. However, it does not reflect on my credit card transactions. They are saying that it is my responsibility to prove that I have not been reimbursed. They are actually saying that I need to send them my credit card statements! Unreal!! I asked that my case be escalated to a supervisor. They scheduled a call with me at 8:00 this morning. They have not called me. When I try calling them, their BOT attempts to forward me to customer service, but the call drops every time. Do not order online from this company! Horrible service!
Pathetic Customer Service
A wrong parcel was delivered to my place against a prepaid delivery. This, against a proper OTP verified system. I have been a repeat customer of the franchise but the customer care apathy & outright dismissiveness is appalling. I should not have been holding on to someone else's parcel if the delivery would have been so accurately OTP based.
Strongly advise against placing any prepaid order with this franchise as the post sales support is virtually non existent.
