Loss of Google data: In my experience, after I ended the engagement, ten years of Google data was deleted. I didn’t see that coming, and the impact on my business has been severe.

Gaslighting and blame-shifting: I consistently felt dismissed and blamed—“this person did that, the last person did this.” To me, it came across as deflecting responsibility rather than addressing the actual issues.

Escalation to authorities: The situation was bad enough that I reported it to the ACCC. That’s not a step I take lightly, but I felt it was necessary given the circumstances.

Impact on my business
Operational disruption: Losing a decade of data affected decision-making, historical reporting, and continuity with campaigns.

Trust breakdown: The communication style eroded trust. I need partners who take ownership, provide transparency, and protect critical assets.

Bottom line
In my opinion, the service here isn’t worth the damage that’s been done. I would not use this person again. If you’re considering working with “Craig the ads guy,” think long and hard—protect your accounts, demand clear terms about data access and ownership, and ensure you have backups and admin control at all times.
