GO Outdoors - Edinburgh Opiniões

Excellent product range and very reasonable price point. Great service from Helen and Jane. Friendly and very knowledgeable in their products and services.

Helen was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Really made a difference to my experience and importantly getting the right product.

Easy and helpful approach that allowed me a simple refund and replacement purchase

I use GoOutdoors regularly in store and online. Staff are always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
A huge range of stock.
Returns are easy to do. Money back in the bank account very promptly.

Purchased a half zip top at a great price and was served at the till by a very friendly Jane. The till was playing up but she remained unflustered and was apologetic for the time it took to resolve. If all staff everywhere were like Jane the world would be a much better place.

Positive shopping experience today! Great prices and as always, helpful staff (today it was Jane)

Great staff who are always so helpful and friendly. I spoke with Shannah who was so helpful and kind and totally brightened up my day! She put a riding hat aside for me and took care of everything. It was a pleasure meeting Shannah who is an absolute credit to Go Outdoors. I’ll certainly be back! Thanks again for all your help Shannah! Jacqui

Great place to shops always. Great staff, always helpful.

Massive shout out to Stuart in the camping department. My partner and I visited the store on 7/3/2026 to pick up some gear for our upcoming trip on the West Highland Way. Stuart approached us and asked if we needed any help – and he really delivered!

He took the time to listen to our plans and what we needed, and gave us some really helpful advice on the gear that would suit our trip, and gave us a bag fit check!

Stuart talked us through our plans in detail and gave great guidance on tent selection, food, sleeping gear, backpack suitability, and packing choices. We really appreciated the time he spent helping us and sharing his knowledge and experiences.

Overall, a great guy and fantastic service! We’re looking forward to seeing him again in a couple of weeks to buy our tent, bag, food etc! Thanks again Stuart!

Really helpful staff all over the shop - one directed us to a sale rack which had an amazing deal on a Rab jacket with a tiny bit of cosmetic damage when we had been looking at a completely different area of the shop. Jane at the till was friendly and helpful as always and made sure the discount was correctly applied, and got staff to help with a price check on a top as well. Everyone came over and was really friendly to our dog and she even got a treat.

Helen was absolutely brilliant with a great personality and very knowledgeable in helping choose some hiking shoes. Left feeling satisfied with an amazing pair of shoes, Helen couldn’t have been more wonderful and helpful.

Got what we needed much better when you have the Go Outdoors membership only £5 for the year and everything is half price or more staff very friendly and helpful

Jane was fabulous at the tills. Great jumper. Nice and warm.

We had a great experience at Go Outdoors Edinburgh at the weekend. We were served by Isla who was really helpful, getting us exactly what we needed with great customer service- thanks!

On my recent visit to Granton branch of GoOutdoors I was welcomed warmly and served by a lovely member of staff. I found what I needed and had a nice chat with Jane who served me at the till. Overall it was a great shopping experience!

I loved that Jane was kind.
I used the googles to ski a lot! Sophia

I went to Edinburgh go outdoors for a new pair of boots. I saw some thermal cups and thought one of them would fit my car holder. I spoke to a staff member and he came outside with me to check if it would fit. I tried my boots on and took boots and cup to the checkout. Jane served me very efficiently. The staff made my visit a pleasant experience.

We always use the Edinburgh store for all our outdoor needs and now for all our clothing and not using popular fashion outlets. On our recent visit, we found that staff were helpful and welcoming, the toilets were spotless and Isla, the young checkout girl remembered us and was so cheerful. Well worth a visit and you will be pleasantly surprised
