Knowledgeable & friendly Staff
I was assisted by a staff member called Lewis at the till who was extremely friendly, spoke about the products I was purchasing, provided extra information and made me feel like I was making the right choice in what I was buying!
Lovely guy, great customer service, very knowledgeable and a great staff member to have.

I had problems with our tent box awning…
I had problems with our tent box awning poles. One email and the absolutely fantastic Lady at Hull outdoors solved the issue straight away. Went to pick them up 4 days later. Every business needs more Katie's in them. Excellent, excellent, excellent a credit to go outdoors.

I needed some good walking boots I…
I needed some good walking boots I asked advice from a young guy called Adam he was really helpful give good advice and was not pushy
So cheers Adam for advice boot are brilliant and on paying for the boots a young woman at the till was polite and helpful with some information on the go outdoors club card
so as for the employees brilliant good service
Down side some of the prices are a bit overwhelming just because they have some guys name on them don't mean the price can dubble 😮 but this runs across all outdoor clothing shops

Walking shoes

You forgot to remove the security tag once again. These are really difficult to get off. Too far to drive back to the shop just for that. Annoying.

I visited the Hull store on Saturday to…
I visited the Hull store on Saturday to purchase some fishing accessories. Once at the till I was very annoyed as the queue was approximately 9 deep with one person serving a customer who was purchasing a number of clothing items but also appeared to be returning some items. The till operator was obviously dealing with the customer but failed to recognise the large queue ( or was not bothered) and made no attempt to call further staff members in order to open another till and provide customer care for those stood waiting .Thi failure was most annoying when there were plenty of other staff members clearly just wandering about the store. This in my view is very poor customer care.

We appreciate that long await times can be stressful especially after seeing other staff members on the shop floor while a single member of staff is on the till causing the queue.
We pride ourselves on excellent customer care and are saddened that you feel we have failed in providing this during your visit to store.

Variety, well priced, helpful staff.
Lots of variety, including access to baits my local doesn’t stock. Staff were happy and helpful when I needed price checks. Matthew on tills was lovely, got me sorted when I wasn’t 100% on the address I registered under, gave me a new card without me even thinking to ask.

Matthew had fantastic customer service
Got exactly what we needed, Matthew behind the till was very helpful and went above and beyond in explaining about the loyalty card. Will definitely return to this store because of this experience.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Which helped me find the right products. This is something you don’t expect from a larger company, but their help made it feel more like a small niche shop. It was only my second time shopping there and on both occasions I can say exactly the same. I would highly recommend them.
