Very helpful and friendly staff, Ellie M was kind and helpful.

Just bought a new pair of walking boots today, I was served by Daniel, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, I would definitely shop there again.

Hannah was very patient and helpful Happy to get another pair of shoes and she made helpful comments, like I think we have another colour in that design. A good service. Also at the checkout I was asked if I had a membership to camping and caravan and got given an extra 10% off the price of my shoes. Thank you :)

Evie J helped me get the perfect footwear for my expeditions, her advice, patience and eagerness to serve was very much needed. She is incredible. Izzy on the tills was also amazing at helping us with an issue. She is also brilliant. Thanks to them I would definitely come back to go outdoors for my future expeditions .

Another absolutely amazing visit. The young gentleman who helped my daughter with her biot fitting James went above and beyond. She felt at ease trying on the boots he helped her lace properly and explained how to look after them. We also brought camping gear he recommended a few things. Excellent staff. The person who served us dan was amazing to remembering us from last time. They have amazing staff we will be shopping there again

Friendly approachable staff with great product knowledge, great advice on after care for my hiking boots. If they weren't sure they found some one that did (rather than just winging it) A big thank you and well done to both Izzy and Evie J for the great service and great advice on my visit see you next month as still need a few things for my trip to Fort Wiliam in June. The staff at the Newcastle Go Outdoors were brilliant when we were finding things for a camping trip. Especially Julie, she went above and beyond finding walking boots in the right size and pointing us in the right direction for other things and finding colleagues in that area to help us

Got a load of camping stuff. Big thanks to Ellie and Josh (and two others that I didn't catch their names, very knowledgeable and friendly. Searched for stuff for me and gave great advice. Keep up the good work.

We were served by Josh, he was polite and informative, he was a great help when I couldn’t decide on which style of lightweight walking trousers to go for.

Following his advice I went with a pair I wouldn’t normally and they fit and look great.

Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable on the items in the store. He helped me select a suitable pair of walking boots and was an all round great guy. Didn't fuss but told us all the facts and I've seen him before in store and he's always been helpful.

James is an excellent staff member who inspires trust through his mature appearance and many years of experience at the store. He set up and packed away a tent for me, giving a detailed explanation of the differences between tents and their water proofing. His easy going attitude also made me feel at ease and comfortable enough to enquire about multi-tool knives as well, which he was able to share his personal experience on. With his lovely people skills and can-do attitude, his talents would be wasted if he wasn't put in store front. Thank you James!

Fab shopping trip today to buy a new pair of walking boots. Great help & advice from Tom lead to me purchasing the most comfortable pair of Scarpa boots and insoles. Thanks for all your help.

Just been instore today and was assisted by Josh. From the moment i asked for help to the moment I left he was fantastic. No issue was too big. I was needing assistance looking for a knife with a very protective sheath. He gave me reccomendations, he took bits apart for me to see and was just incredibly helpful.

All staff i spoke to today were lovely and the store seems to have a great team.
