Nicole was patient professional and very knowledgeable. I received a 5 star service in my purchase of hiking boots for my Iceland trip. She really went the extra mile. Never had such an amazing customer service experience. Thanks Nicole

Very happy to visit the Nottingham store.
I was today to by for my sun stuff for DofE, and with no camping experience I was very struggle to decide what need, but I meet Hannah, Maria and Sofia where helping, and spend a lot of time with me and my son to find everything needs. Was very helpful and thank you to understand me and helping us. For me was a second time to visit Nottingham store, and I liked, very tide and a friendly staff.

I purchased some walking boots and my wife purchased some walking shoes , the staff were very helpful, enthusiastic and competent on the shop floor and at the till points.

Outstanding service
I bought a pair of walking shoes from the Nottingham store today. Faced with a large display of varying makes and prices, I was very grateful to have Nicole guide me quickly to a manageable choice. Her knowledge of the shoes was excellent and her manner and professionalism outstanding. Sophie at the till was also friendly and helpful. First rate service all round.

We are new to camping
We are new to camping and recently started visiting go outdoors in Nottingham on a regular basis
The staff there are all so helpful and nothing is to much trouble for them
Since we started visiting the store we always see Dan busy in what he's doing but always there to help which he has on numerous occasions he is a total credit to the store and the Go Outdoors team

We went to the Loughborough store to…
We went to the Loughborough store to buy a camp cooker, they were out of stock of the model we wanted. We then drove all the way to the Nottingham store and purchased our new cooker. When we got home and opened the package, it had obviously been used. There was grass clippings, hard dried grease, liquid grease and food residue inside. After a 75 mile round trip, l am very disappointed.

Was looking at buying a coat they didn’t have my size on the shop floor the I asked a young man called Lee he went into the back to have a look for me they didn’t have any he stayed with me and helped me find another coat he was very helpful. The young lady at the till was lovely as well Elena D.

Sale on so busy and gaps on rails!
Popped in to pick up some clothes for a late summer holiday abroad. The sale was on so a lot of empty gaps. However I did manage to get 2 pairs of walking trousers, a pair of cropped trousers, a tshirt and some walking sandals, all at very good prices. Wish I'd gone in sooner when a bigger selection. It was busy in the store so quite a queue formed to pay. However, Maria did really well and eventually more help arrived to open another till. Won't leave it so late next time I need walking clothing!

Brilliant staff member - Maria
I went to query a click and collect order I had made for a pair of walking boots and Maria couldn’t have been more helpful! She sorted my query promptly and efficiently and helped me to choose the correct sized boots. Nothing was too much trouble, she had a lovely friendly nature and it made what was going to be a ‘job to get done’ into an enjoyable and positive experience - thank you Maria!

exchange a pair of shoes…
I had to exchange a pair of shoes because they were slightly narrow near the toe area of my feet. Lee was exceptionally helpful and supportive with me and helped me get a better pair of shoes that were designed for wider feet. I don’t mind paying an extra fee because quality matters in my eyes. He checked again to see if there was any inconveniences. He is a true asset to Go Outdoors Nottingham as he’s exceptional at his job. I would recommend this store because of staff like Lee.

Never got notification that my goods…
Never got notification that my goods were in store to click and collect. First I knew they had been returned and refunded. Particularly annoying as I was waiting for shoes to take on my holiday. Not impressed.

Unfortunately, the email notification advising that your order was ready for collection did not send as expected. We appreciate the impact this had and can confirm that the issue has been raised with our technical team for investigation.
As the order remained uncollected, it was automatically returned and refunded once the 14-day collection period had expired. We understand this will have been frustrating, particularly as you were unaware the order was awaiting collection.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.. We are working to prevent this from happening again in the future.

No information when product would be delivered to store until I complained. Then amazingly its teady for collection 5 days after ordering!
