Bought but not received.
Bought the tent last week. Still not delivered by Evri who claim to have attempted to deliver which is not the case.

Great customise service in store
We bought online but only after going into the shop at Monks Cross in York. We were really impressed by one of your staff members who took the time to really help my husband choose the right walking boots and showed him a surgeon's knot to get the fit right. Another good session on the horse simulator
Carys at Naylor's in Go Outdoors expertly helped my partner with another session on the horse simulator. She is continuing to work on her position and stamina and Carys provides just the right amount of help and encouragement each time!

The wrong item was sent to us
The wrong item was sent to us, it got mixed up with another order. I took the item into store to return it and they told me that they had issued a refund. We have still not received the refund and therefore we have no item and no money.
You can improve by sending out the correct item in the first instance.
You could refund people when you said you are.
Or you could send out the correct item out to me now please.

It’s clear we let you down on this occasion. The incorrect item was sent due to an order mix-up, and after you returned it to store, the refund was not processed correctly as intended. We appreciate how disappointing this must have been, especially as you were left without either the item or your money.
We have now investigated this and can confirm that the refund issue has been rectified. The refund has been processed, and the funds should be returned to your original payment method shortly, depending on your bank's processing times.

Brilliant Service and a Great Purchase
By using Go Outdoors price match policy (with my membership card) I was able to make a massive saving on the advertised price.
Andrew the section manager was particularly helpful throughout the process and transported my purchase to the car!

And when looked to order again it was still showing in stock!!!!!!!

Fantastic store
The York Vanguard Go Outdoors is absolutely incredible. The store is huge and very well organised and maintained.
I had a great experience here yesterday. I'd like to mention that Lewis on the checkout was very polite and professional, he helped with an issue on my membership card quickly and is a fantastic member of the team.

Our Go outdoor experiences to the York Store
On 14th August 2026 we visited the York store regarding an issue with an air tent , the matter was dealt with by Clive Izzy and Kelly, Quickly and efficiently with highest customer care I have ever received .i cannot praise the staff enough for there care and consideration , These staff members were a credit to Go outdoors absolute credit to the team ,Their professionalism,dedication ,and friendly approach make every interaction a pleasure They consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly.thank you for your hard work and stellar service.

Terrific service
We were served by Mark in the footwear section and he was absolutely brilliant. It brought back the good old days of customer service as he did everything he could to make sure we went out with the right size and trainer. Go Outdoors and other outlets are nowhere near this stress free and customer focussed in other locations! Many thanks.

Not great service
Not great service. All of my items arrived separately from different delivery providers and at different days and times. I’m still awaiting my sofas which
I was told would be here today. We go away tomorrow so now we’ll be without them and they’ll just be left at my door for 2 weeks no doubt which is not ideal.
