Item took nearly two weeks to be posted. At no point was I informed it would be so late, never even had an email confirm of order. After a week and a half I had to get in contact with them to chase it up. Rubbish customer service

Greenman Bushcraft is my one stop shop…
Greenman Bushcraft is my one stop shop for all the camping utility tools for todays Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Explorers. The product prices are fair, the quality is always good and the delivery happens when indicated. I have recently taken delivery of a Bow-Drill to use as a practical demonstration tool during 'Bushcraft and Backwoods' sessions, the drill is soon to be supported by a new batch of 'Fint and Steel' sets together with folding 'Bush Saws'. My only disappointment to date is the failed delivery of a discount voucher, promised when I placed an order.

Very poor service. I ordere and there were big problems with delivery. I provided an alternative address which was ignored and to date I have not received the item
I retract my initial review of Greenman Bushcraft. I have made extensive enquiries and I am satisfied that the fault lies with the carrier despite me suppling them with an alternative address where an adult would have signed for the item. The review history speaks for itself with excellent ratings and Greenman and myself have worked hard to resolve this matter. I understand that they obeyed the law regarding the sale of knives to young people. I will be dealing with the company again.

The reason that your item has not dispatched is because you have not supplied your ID which formed part of the transaction/agreement – and you have used two names.
It is the law, when supplying knives online to verify the customers ID. We are super-transparent with how we achieve this. There are no hidden steps, and you are advised of the process before completing checkout.
Despite this, you have completed your purchase and then decided not to supply the details required.
To date, you have not contacted us, and your order remains on hold.
The 'big problems' with delivery, and change of address must be relating to another supplier. We have not got as far as that, as we have been unable to verify the above.

Excellent suppliers of outdoor gear
Never had an issue with this company. As QM for a scout group they have been great for the supply of knives and fire steels over the years. They seem to take the security checks for buyers seriously which is a good thing (even if it delays delivery slightly).

Great service, just what you want
After searching online for a shop that had all the items i wanted in stock I found Greenman Bushcraft. Great website, easy to navigate. The age verification was easy to do (I guess I did it right) as my order was shipped quickly without delay. I will be returning to Greenman Bushcraft in the near future for some other things I discovered while browsing their site.
All in all a great On-line retailer, I would recommend this shop to friends and family.
