This is my second time using Hamptons and again the work is perfect. Everything was hassle free... Good communication, quick turn around, excellent price and I'm delighted with the finished job. We got carpet and laminate flooring and everything was finished the same day. I'd highly recommend using this company

I completely sympathise with the person who wrote the last review, They are a wonderful company to deal with when they are taking your money but beware if anything goes wrong. We had a waterproof floor from them with a 25 year guarantee but the problem started when the floor got wet and suddenly if wasn't guaranteed and it was also our fault. The fitting was also completely wrong as the kitchen units had been laid on the floor which should never have happened. The matter went to court and we did in the end get a partial refund. No money however would ever make up for the stress and the most awful experience of dealing with this company. At the end of the day it was a kitchen floor but I have never experienced such rudeness, aggression and personal attacks and I never want to experience it again. Take your business elsewhere.

Took money and never finished job… cost almost €3,000 … AVOID

A month later and I have still not had job finished.

I’ve sent so many e-mails to Elaine in office and spoken with her and Tanya and yet I’m still left with an unfinished job. Fitter took 2 days to put laminate flooring down - for a hall, living room area and kitchen of an apartment … not a big house.

Fitter was sent to No 14 not 41 where I live. Turned up without machine to remove kitchen tiles (doesn’t seem he was briefed on the job properly) so had to come back for a second day. Didn’t turn up next day until 12 noon (was meant to turn up first thing in morning) Only turned up when I rang the office to find out where he was. Left at 4pm and didn’t have the beading for the kitchen (another thing that should have been sorted as part of the job brief)

He told me he would order this. Job was started on 24th February and still no beading.

After he left there were gaps between floor and doors that should have been filled and weren’t and kitchen floor beading not done.

Almost a month later and after complaining yet again and then sending another fitter - the job still isn’t done. This fitter turned up clueless as to what he needed to finish off and surprise, surprise, didn’t have the beading and was again sent to wrong property … unbelievable…

After speaking to Elaine yet again, I’m told beading was ordered for a fireplace … a fireplace in a kitchen??? There was never a fireplace …

Elaine and office blame the fitter, fitter blames the office. Job was never briefed properly, so I guess I could blame the sales guy Tom if I was that unreasonable, but i as a customer just want the job finished. So unprofessional moaning to a customer about whose to blame … just sort the issue out.

Right from the start I should have cancelled the job… I was told wrong date on booking job by Elaine - should have been Thursday 17th February (which after the incompetency of the whole process I now know it was their mistake and not my misunderstanding as they can’t organise anything properly) so job wasn’t started until a week later than when I was told. I had to chase for confirmation and receipt of payment.

The only efficient part of their service is taking your money off you. The rest is awful.

A family business that does not care about the customer, subcontracts their work out (second fitter was from another company completely and not to his own fault had any idea of what he needed to do) and the Managing Director completely ignored me on messaging him for a complaint contact so that really says it all if the top doesn’t care, why should the office staff …

I’m now having to sort the finish out myself. I have repeatedly asked for a partial refund and been ignored. I do have legal rights as a consumer who has paid for a job not completed, so I guess that is the route I need to go down now …

Avoid the stress, wasting your time (I’ve actually lost money and work from my own business in hanging around waiting for this job to be finished) and your hard earned money… give it to one of the many and better flooring companies in Dublin and Kildare.

Hamptons did our flooring when we first moved into our current house a few years ago and we recently had some renovation works done and needed carpets and laminate flooring for a new section of our house. We decided to use Hamptons again given the positive experience we had the first time. This time round, the process and the service was just as positive. As we were in the process of renovations works and couldn't give exact finish dates when booking, the team were very flexible and catered for our requests when dates didn't go according to plan. Thomas was very helpful and responsive to our queries and advised us on all we needed to know. Suzanne and her colleagues who we spoke with at the office when we called were very friendly and dealt with our requests very promptly. DJ, who fitted our laminate floors was very polite and did an excellent job. The guys fitting our carpets also did a great job. We are delighted with the result. We would like to say a huge thanks to all the team who assisted us and made the process go efficiently and smoothly especially with it being so close to Christmas.

Hamptons Dublin 12/Ireland are a bunch of dishonest two faced people who don’t care who they hurt or how much that person is suffering. They promised they would do my flooring for free as I am moving on to my own home after some years being homeless. They offered to do it and completely went back on their word. They caused me undue pain and uncalled for hurt and stress. I am also presently very ill and going through treatment. It was their idea to do it free I had asked for a nominal charge or a large discount. They led me a merry dance. I heard from a keyworker in the hostel where I am just about to leave that she paid two and a half grand for her flooring and the flooring was so bad and it’s taken for ever to get it right. She said she will never use them again or recommd them to anyone.

After previously using Hamptons for my floors I had no hesistation going back to them again this time. The service was fantastic, in a week of contacting Hamptons I had a sales rep bring samples out to me, office staff contacted me to book the fitting and the lads arrived on time on the day as promised. The fitters were absolutely brilliant workers and couldnt of been nicer to deal with. Place was spotless after them and the floors are amazing! Thank you again Hamptons Floor Store, I will no doubt be back for my next floors

Thank you Hamptons for coming to the rescue. Hall carpet fitted in no time at all after been let down so many times by other suppliers. Brilliant service and not forgetting the fitter whos was so helpful with advice also.

I got my hall through to living room/kitchen floored by these guys and then my bathroom. From start to finish was amazingly quick and easy. They were in and out in no time and great workmanship. No messing about or stopping/starting.

Can't recommend Hamptons enough. They floored and carpeted my whole house a few months back and the level of service from start to finish was second to none. Really good guys to deal with.

The lads came out to us at very short notice to do a measurement just before Christmas. They quoted me a good price. They came out 3 days later on the time agreed and did an amazing job. Couldn't fault them! Really nice guys as well.

Hamptons Floor Store fitted carpets for our entire house and they were in and out in just a few hours. The place looks great now, you'd swear it was a nice house! Can't thank the team enough for making it so easy.

I found this company through word of mouth a few months ago and looked at other places but kept coming back to Hamptons Floor store due to price and reputation.
I dealt with Sean and he was very patient and helpful and gave me specific dates on delivery and installation. They also beat the price of a local flooring company.
The flooring arrived and the fitters were not more than 30 minutes for a 40 square foot space (very impressive) and the finish was of a very high standard.
I would highly recommend Hamptons floor store.
