Excellent service, many thanks, The Item I bought was not suitable for my needs, However I contacted ML&S and the staff were very understanding, I sent the item back, & I got a full refund, Thanks Again

Poor customer service

I placed an order for two, Tyt Md-441 walkie talkies and a programming cable. I contacted the company for support, I explained that I struggle with phone calls as I’m disabled and therefore needed support via email. I emailed them 4 days ago as the programming cable is faulty (it won’t connect via software they linked me too) I installed the drivers, I tried 8 different usb ports on 2 different computers, the software said failed to connect each time. The product was advertised as having voice security, yet you can’t activate it without the software and a programming cable, the cable feels cheap and I believe is faulty. Despite asking for no calls, they tried calling me 4 times, they don’t reply to support emails with any kind of support or help. I’m going to have to raise a PayPal dispute as the products are faulty and not working as described.

Update when a customer repeated the asks to not receive phone calls as they give her anxiety then the company ignored this and kept calling this alone is poor Customer service and discrimination. The company never emailed any software as they claimed. I informed the company that I installed the latest software and still having an issue. The latest software was on the manufacturers website. If this was Amazon they would have sent a replacement cable by now

We’re sorry to read this review, but we do not feel it fairly reflects the support provided.

The customer first contacted us on 4th June asking where to find the programming software. This email was replied to within 20 minutes with a link to the relevant download page.

The customer then emailed again on Saturday asking for help with the software. One of our engineers called the customer the same day to try and assist directly. The customer was unavailable, so our engineer called again later that afternoon, at which point the customer advised that they did not want telephone support.

On Monday morning at 9:00am, our support team emailed the customer again to ask whether they had managed to get the software working. Later that same day, we also emailed over a copy of the latest programming software for them to download and try.

On Tuesday morning, we explained that the latest version of the software needed to be tested first to rule out a software issue. If the problem still remained after trying this, we would have arrange a replacement programming cable.

We appreciate the customer prefers email support and we have tried to assist by email as well. However, we strongly dispute the claim that no support was provided. We replied promptly, attempted direct technical assistance, followed up, supplied updated software, and offered a replacement cable if the issue continued.

For this reason, we do not believe a 1-star review or PayPal dispute is a fair reflection of the situation. We remain happy to help resolve the issue, but we do need the customer to try the latest software first so we can confirm whether the issue is with the cable or the software setup.

I recently had an issue with the…

I recently had an issue with the shipment of an antenna order from ML&S due to problems with the original shipping carrier, which was unable to deliver the package to my address.

Once ML&S became aware of the situation, they resent my order via DHL, and the package arrived promptly and without any issues. I truly appreciate their diligence, professionalism, and commitment to resolving the matter.

Special thanks to Paul Ley and the ML&S team for staying engaged throughout the process and ensuring I received my order successfully. Their efforts to address the carrier issue and provide a positive resolution restored my confidence in their customer service.

I’m very pleased with the final outcome and appreciate the support provided.

Been buying off Martin Lynch for nearly 30 years now and always offered a first class service everyone in sales are very helpful and when you visit the shop you always get a coffer and it’s not out of a machine
A big thank you to Martin and his team and nice to see his sons also playing a part
