Bought brass scroll type handles a couple years back for the entire house. We were in early stages of our DIY journey. From the moment of delivery we had some issues. Many of the handles came with marks on them straight out of the box, sometimes what looked like fingerprints that couldn't be wiped off, scuffs and scratches. We contacted Handle King and got a no quibble replacement for each one, so ultimately we were happy with the service, though a few of the replacements had similar issues.

Once installed many of the handles did not work smoothly. Some would catch or crunch or require extra force partway through. Some improved with time, others got worse.

Maybe on me for not reading the small print - the handles were described as brass in several places in the listing, except for one location saying 'polished brass finish'. Turns out that means just a minuscule coating of brass, which quickly started to wear off especially in the bathroom making our "new" handles look worse than the old basic ones we used to have.

Ultimately we are now replacing them all again with Smith & Locke brand handles and latches / sashlocks which have all been reliably smooth and in perfect condition out of the box. The replacements are 100% brass and have cost only a little more so any saving we may have achieved with Handle King was really not worth it.

Overall I would not recommend Handle King products even though the service was responsive, and we liked that they offered complete packs with hinges which seemed like a simpler solution at the time.

Easy to use site and quick delivery. Products received match description and, although lighter than expected, were of good quality for the price paid. Lost a point for there not being enough screws to match the item
