Absolute rubbish. I agree with all the dreadful reviews and just wish I had consulted Trustpilot before buying. They sell tat at inflated prices, make it almost impossible to return items (you have to send goods back tracked and by airmail to China - there is a short window allowed - where they will decide if your right to a return is valid). Horrible experience.

I agree with all the previous reviews. Very poor quality and nothing like the picture. I ordered a white top and it looked as if it had been with a coloured wash. Very grey looking. For a refund I had to pay £12.50 to track and send it back to China, which I did on principle. I wish I had read all the other reviews first. Never again.

Should have read the reviews - blouse not at all like the picture. I won’t make the same mistake again!

(Eventually) received a top bearing no comparison to the photo on the website - cheap, almost transparent, fabric, badly finished, no style whatsoever.
After I placed the order I realised it was coming from China, not Manchester, hence the long wait for delivery.
When it arrived, I decided immediately to return it. Being used to Amazon's transparent returns system, I was appalled to find I had to wade through the small print of 'policies' on the website, only to find that my application to return the item would have to be approved, and if it were, I would have to return it to China at my cost. They helpfully say this is likely to be minimum 20€.
Reading other reviews, I'm now also worried that my data will be sold.
All I can say now is that I wish I'd read the reviews before I placed the order. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS!

Absolutely appalling company. Website showed a chunky knitted cardigan. Actually item was a dreadful nylon copy, nothing like the website picture. Still fighting for a return and refund. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Harrison and Hayes All lies...wake up Trustpilot take them down..its a scam Chinese operation collecting credit card and data and sending out rubbish..the clothing images are other companies what you receive is poor quality nothing like the images and if you don't want it you have to return to China at great cost..despite the claim they are Manchester based since 1998! They set up their website 2 months ago..absolutely scam

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would. The items are NOT sent from Manchester as they lead you to believe, but from China and the items bare no resemblance to the ones shown - cheap and nasty synthetic materials and no easy way to return for a refund. Steer clear - I wish I had!!

This is a awful garment i have just received from Harrison and Hayes never again will i order from this company , its nothing like the picture , and like so many other people on here i also wish i read the reviews first , i feel totally cheated

This is not a company you want to waste your money on. You think you’re dealing with U.K. merchandise only to find out goods are from China and if you want a refund you have to return it to China at exorbitant cost to yourself so the refund is worthless.

I wish I had read the reviews and looked more closely at their website. It is a complete scam. The clothes are just awful, not as described, cheap and nasty fabrics and nothing like the photos. Then they try to offer you a 20% discount if you keep their rubbish to save the planet by not shipping if back to China

Don’t fall into the trap of believing this company is based in Manchester. It’s based in China. The goods are made from cheap, substandard materials , look nothing like the photos and the only option you get to return for a full refund is to China at a minimum cost of 20 euros (not that I believe you would ever get a refund).

Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering the cropped trousers.When they finally arrived the material was very poor and not as advertised.They are wearable perhaps when doing the housework!!

Harrison & Hayes are not as described but seem to be a front for cheap Chinese clothes that arrive without any labelling and after a long delay after ordering. When asked how I could return the items I was given a load of drivel about not wanting to add to climate change and I could therefore accept the clothes and have a20% cashback of keep the clothes and have the total price plus 15% added to my credit with the store. Since I shall never buy from them again, this option is not tempting! I should have read the reviews before buying. More fool me.

Absolutely dreadful! Poor quality items which I returned to the sender address on the packaging to a Solihull address. They have asked for proof of posting which o provided 3 times. I think they expect you to send it back to China but do not provide the address. Today they sent the package back to me. They take ages answering emails and you cannot phone them. Avoid at all costs - I don’t think I will get my money back! .

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering, the quality is so poor that even the charity shop would not except as they said they would not be able to sell,
when complaining about the quality and state of the item they give a load of rubbish regarding there quality control do not fall for there advert what you recieve is nothing like what it looks like on there website it's a total scam they are definitely not a long established manchester company as they make out to be they need reporting which I am in the process of doing , these so called companies need taken of the website

Just don’t buy anything from this company. From pictures you assume you are buying from a quality store in Manchester. The goods are nothing like the pictures. Rubbish customer service.

The fit is not as described and the quality of the fabric is very poor. It took a long time to be delivered and I would not buy from this company again, very disappointing.

The clothes I received are very low quality and nothing like the images on Instagram. I feel like a fool for trusting that Harrison and Hayes were a real company from Manchester. When I complained they offered a 20% refund and no option to return the goods as they came from China. Do not fall for this scam!
