Wish we could avoid Healthcode!
How can Healthcode have the monopoly on raising invoices to insurance companies? Although I note that the company is owned by the insurance companies! We have been trying to update the register on PPR for months going back and forth. No one takes ownership and no one is helpful. It’s been escalated but that’s it. Nothing. We are now losing patients as bupa have removed the consultant from the open referral register and axa are continuously chasing. What can we do? No one can fix the IT error problem and no one seems to care. I have wasted so much time on this. Appalling service. You’ve got 2 stars because at least a human answers the phone.

I want to acknowledge the fantastic customer service by Cintia Kisne Orban during our phone call. We moved from a single practitioner to a practice/multiple practitioner account. After months of struggling to schedule and set this us Cintia provided the solutions and step by step instructions on how to make this happy.

I was asked by AXA to register with the Private Patient Register in order to submit invoice for my Osteopathy practice. I really struggled by myself with the online registration form, but Caitlyn at the Healthcode Technical Support Team talked me through the whole (quite lengthy) process, until I made it to the end. She was brilliant and patient, but I could not have done it without her.
Terrible!
Have been trying for the last hour to invoice my health insurance company using Healthcode. The site is slow, clunky & if I’m lucky eventually lets me know that the service is unavailable due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems!
I’m sure telephone support is much better but as a busy clinician I don’t have the time to call. I simply want a reliable site that works!

Very shady practices and awful website…
Very shady practices and awful website to navigate. I have been forced to pay £40 for processing an £80 invoice. The option I wanted was faded out (basic clearing service) so stupidly clicked a neighbouring plan to check if this was an issue for all available options or just the one I wanted. This activated a £29.99 additional subscription that I had no need for and the original option was now an activated too. I reported it immediately and met with flat refusals to refund. I have pretty much been accused of lying (can I prove the functionality wasn’t working for the plan I wanted?). I can evidence my concerns through my correspondence but they are not interested and are not going to refund. I have reported Healthcode to CMA.

Its always broken and rarely works- its a complete disaster and they charge us and no doubt the insurers to use it (doctors). Farcical.
Poor service
Poor service, regularly have issues, the chatbot is absolutely a waste of time. System goes down outside their working hours so your stuck until the next morning to get the issue resolved. Its costing me money if I can't work I don't get paid.
Shady practices. Avoid if at all possible
Shady practices. I use Healthcode on a very adhoc basis and on trying to subscribe to the basic clearing service to process an invoice (£9.99 per month) was unable to activate this plan (it was faded out and wouldn’t open when clicked). I stupidly clicked the adjacent plan to see if this opened and unintentionally activated a £40 ‘lite’ plan which I had no use for. I immediately contacted Healthcode customer service to request a refund and again since as have now been charged for two plans but this has been refused with them claiming there was no evidence that the basic plan wouldn’t activate. This is untrue. I am appalled at how I have been treated… almost £50 charged for an £80 invoice. I will be reporting this further. They have the monopoly and clearly feel they can treat subscribers however they feel.

Stopped doing insurance work to avoid having to deal with healthcode. Extremely un user friendly billing system which requires training to use. I only wanted to get paid but instead wasted hours of unpaid time filling out profiles and working out how to operate.Independent practitioners who do own billing beware.
Disfunctional website
While I was attempting to add my new practice place several times, I couldn't finish my profile because it always said there was an error adding 'specialities', but when I added them and saved, it dissapeared. I contacted them several times,to which they replied it has been solved. But it never has been.
The training session with Ethan was amazing
The training session with Ethan was great. He had the patience to explain everything to someone who is not a tech savvy and I congratulate him for that. I’m looking forward to my next session.

After a long back & forth with mapping Surgeon
After a long back & forth with consultant and yourselves – I decided to pick up the phone and call.
We have been sitting on these consultant Invoice (s) for a long time and to my relief a “Sepand” picked up the phone and resolved my issue problem shooting and resolving the long standing problem of the consultant BY not been mapped accordingly.
Could you please give Sepand a gold star – and acknowledge his patience and kindness in resolving this matter for me.
