Disappointing experience with Heathrow…
Disappointing experience with Heathrow Meet & Greet Parking
I chose Heathrow’s official Meet & Greet service because I expected a professional, premium service and was prepared to pay more for that reassurance.
Unfortunately, when I collected my vehicle after leaving it with Heathrow for eight nights, it was covered in a significant amount of dust and grit. The condition was far beyond what I would consider reasonable, and I was concerned that simply washing the vehicle without proper treatment could cause scratches or damage to the paintwork.
What was particularly disappointing was that a member of staff at the Meet & Greet reception acknowledged that the area where my car had been stored was extremely dusty and said they were aware that this had happened before. I was advised to contact Heathrow to have the matter addressed.
I subsequently contacted Heathrow and provided photographs. Heathrow themselves eventually acknowledged that the vehicle had a significant amount of dust and grit on it, that the storage area was particularly dusty, and that similar issues had occurred previously. They also acknowledged that the condition was clearly unsatisfactory from a customer experience perspective.
Despite these admissions, Heathrow refused to contribute towards having the vehicle professionally cleaned or even offer any goodwill gesture. Instead, I received several very similar responses referring to environmental conditions and their terms and conditions.
I find this particularly disappointing because I specifically chose official Heathrow Meet & Greet parking rather than a cheaper third-party alternative. I expected my vehicle to be returned in a reasonable condition and, at the very least, expected Heathrow to take responsibility for finding a practical solution when their own staff acknowledged the problem.
The complaint was eventually escalated to their senior team, but their final position remained that they would not provide any reimbursement or contribution towards professional cleaning.
Based on my experience, I would not use Heathrow Meet & Greet again and would recommend that anyone considering it is aware of how Heathrow deals with complaints when something goes wrong.
If Heathrow had simply offered to cover a professional clean, I would have considered the matter resolved. Unfortunately, it was the refusal to provide any practical remedy despite acknowledging the problem that has left me most disappointed.
Damaged car by Heathrow Official Meet & Greet
Damaged wheel hub. Covered it up on collection so not obvious it had been damaged. As soon as got on link road to motorway, heard it rattling. Damaged the clips and half hanging off. The car is apparently photographed on arrival and would have been obvious on photos when they returned the car to the car park. Refusing to investigate as had not reported on collection, even though they managed to "secure it" for onsite inspection on collection. There was also slight smell of smoke and ash on dashboard. I would not use again and do not recommend anymore even though used several times before with no issue but when they cause damage they cover it up and then refuse to look into it. Hubs only cost £140 to repair but is the principal that they will not assist in event of damage.
£7 drop off charge
£7 drop off charge. £4 for a bottle of Diet Coke. I watched someone do a shoplifting just after I bought the coke. Normally I would have said something or intervened but actually the real robbery had already taken place so they’re welcome to it!!!
Homeowners affected by the Vortex…
Homeowners affected by the Vortex Impact Protection Scheme:
As the scheme currently stands, there is 0 external oversight on the work. The sole roofer on the scheme does not hold the legally required certifications to complete the work. LABC does not inspect the works so the works are non compliant with the Building Act 2010. The NFRC CPS BRCC issued only covers roof coverings and insulation is a mandatory requirement for >25% roof replacements. The IBG offered by the certificate provider does not cover the value of the works and only comes into effect if the sole roofing contractor (Richardson Roofing) goes out of work. Richardson Roofing is not qualified to install insulation or windows of any kind.
Heathrow was notified of this in April of 2025 and still continues to use the same mechanisms today. If your roof was replaced under this scheme contact your local building control as they are aware of this issue.
I used Heathrow.com to buy lounge…
I used Heathrow.com to buy lounge tickets, on the day the lounge was too busy and half the toilets were out of order if I had booked directly with the lounge they would refund the money but because I booked through this website Heathrow.com refused to refund so my advice is book directly with the lounges not through Heathrow.com
All good except no booking confirmation emails.
I've used the long stay parking at Heathrow T5 a few times and it works well.
My only gripe is that they don't send booking confirmation emails.

Appalling Special Assistance at Heathrow Terminsl 5
Special Assistance on arrival at Heathrow was chaotic and poorly managed. Not allowed to travel on buggy with my husband and told to meet at Immigration or baggage claim. I told my husband I'd see him at baggage claim and I'd be looking out for him as he does not like being on his own and gets anxious.
The buggy took him to one place and
others were met by different special assistance staff but they said he had to wait for another one to arrive. After a while he asked how much longer and was told they had no idea and so he asked how far for him to make his own way to the baggage claim area to be with me. He was told to take the lift down and stay on the seats there and when the member of staff arrived with a wheelchair for him they'd send them to there. This he did and after I had collected all our luggage I approached a special assistance member of staff who was collecting wheelchairs to say that still no one had arrived. His response was extremely rude so I approached the BA customer service desk who arranged for someone to come. In fact 2 arrived, the extremely rude one and a younger man . The rude man was now saying he had misunderstood the situation and no need to make a complaint. I don't know why he worried about a complaint as Heathrow Special Assistance really do not want to know. They ask for more information which you give and then they ask for more. In the end they want copies of your passport or driving licence and as we no longer felt confident in supplying them with any further personal details we had no option but to stop with our complaint.
No other airport has such a chaotic, poorly organised special assistance and this is down to very poor planning and management.
They do have some very good staff who are understanding of people with various health issues but they sadly have to work in this badly organised team.
I would give zero stars if I could - SCAM
I would give zero stars if I could. Had a Heathrow Rewards card for years with points on it. Just booked car parking & thought I’d add my card to my Apple wallet. When attempting to log in it says my ID cannot be confirmed so sets up a new account. As a result all previous points are removed - according to their T & C’s. Ollie in Customer Service has ignored multiple closing requests, just sends a link to tat & C’s. Steer well clear. It’s a joke & disgusting customer service.
Disgusting
Due to war in Middle East we were not able to use our pre paid parking. They would not refund or give us a credit as we didn’t have 24 hours notice. Also the meet and greet parking has no signage and as a result we ended up driving to the valet parking and incurred another £7 fee. We were travelling of the morning of 28/2/26 the morning war broke out. We lost our holiday which cost us £9k and on top of that Heathrow official parking took our money without providing the service we paid for. How do these people sleep at night?
Save and always people around to help
The best airport always i flight there many times
Made a mistake with my parking and…
Made a mistake with my parking and called the customer services number. Helen dealt with my enquiry and was amazing, got me out of a potentially painful situation. I cannot thank her enough.
Heathrow Rewards is a time wasting con
Heathrow Rewards is a time wasting, scam. It is impossible to retrieve an existing account - which I've had for many years - and its impossible to set upa new one. The technology is hopeless and impossible to navigate. 2FA does not work and you end up with multiple verification codes which do not work. Appalling for a supposedly leading airport, through which I have had 500 flights+ to date and still unable to use the rewards programme. What a con.
👍👍👍👍👍💯💥 Excellent well Organised

They allow cowboy meet and greet…
They allow cowboy meet and greet companies to operate under their name, without taking responsibility for the branding. I used Heathrow Meet and Greet and they crashed my car. I have had no response from anyone. I never had any issues with the meet and greet services at other airports like Gatwick.
No compassion
Customer support is full of robots who only cares about taking your money. No compassion, no empathy.
What a bunch of uncaring idiots
What a bunch of uncaring idiots. We booked meet and greet to drop our car at Heathrow. I accidentally went to the wrong meet and greet (this one rather than purple parking). I drove in, realised and drove out. Those 35 seconds cost me 19.50. I assumed it was just a process issue but Heathrow parking have confirmed that they're entitled to that money! Unbelievable!
Awful service
Awful service.
Short story - Had my car for 2 weeks and caused a flat tyre which they drove the car on and refused to rectify.
Longer story - dropped car and no faults and tyres all fine and as in pictures were fully inflated. Took screen shot of my app to show milage (like to do this incase they take it out for a drive!) and this shows no faults.
Upon collection the rear tyre was totally flat on the rim. Upon pumping it up it wouldn’t hold pressure of more than 10psi. So called AA who did a basic bodge repair to get me to a garage, who had to replace the tyre as it was not repairable.
Raised issue with Heathrow to be told that the nail was already there and the attached picture is their ‘Evidence’. This picture is a total joke and a blurry spec, not where the nail was found’ is apparently definitive it was already there. I quote from them“we can see the nail already clearly visible”
When I asked for evidence that was useable and I could see, they refused and said irrelevant as not their liability as the driver wasn’t negligent. To state otherwise would suggest that vehicles parked with them are left at the owner’s risk, which negates the value of valet parking!
Avoid using - significantly more than 3rd parties and no better, in fact worse.
No point to Heathrow Membership
I dont see the point in the Heathrow.Airport.com login and account. You dont get anything from it. They offer you points (ie pay 200 quid to park your car gets you 200 points - which is only worth 2 quid - you cant even get a lolly at this airport for that). There is absolutely nothing else this stupid membership gives you. At least Tesco club card gives you massive discounts to products in the shop if you scan their club card. Nothing here at Heathrow.
T5 Plaza Premium Lounge
Paid for access to Plaza Premium lounge in T5. Food seemed cheap and poor quality. No vegetarian alternatives (e.g. veggie sausages). No pastries available. Chairs all rammed together so you feel just as squashed up as in the main terminal area. Not a relaxing environment at all. Absolutely not worth the admission price.
UPDATE: I wrote to them to express my disappointment. Feedback was handled via heathrow.com rather than the Plaza Premium company. Their response took two weeks and stated that I had been escorted to a reserved seat and didn't complain at the time, so "we won't be looking to refund you". I wasn't escorted to a reserved seat, and I hadn't asked for a refund. There was no apology or discussion of the issues I did raise. This gives me no faith whatsoever that they are open to any form of feedback. It would also suggest that other customers should complain vociferously at the time if you do want a refund.
