Sheryl at Helzberg on Maize Road in…

Sheryl at Helzberg on Maize Road in Wichita, KS is the best. Hope she never leaves as I will have to follow her as I did from her last location. Dedicated, honest, never pressures into a sale, which would drive me away, but will explain to you whatever you need. She treats you like family. She is an asset. Love watching her interact with customers. I am a VERY PICKY person, too. My daughter in Nashville even comes to Wichita to purchase from Sheryl. The other ladies are great as well. Plan on going to see her today for something else I have been looking for. Thanks Helzberg for Sheryl!!

Helzberg Diamonds sold me 2 14K…

Helzberg Diamonds sold me 2 14K magnetic chains for about $2000 each and will not do anything about it. Supposedly they mix magnetic metals with gold. This is throughout the whole chain not just the clasp

Terrible Communication/Service

We have had a terrible experience with this store. My fiance ordered my engagement ring on July 8. It is now February 19 and we have not received my ring yet.

It started with my ring needed to be sized down. It was sent in to be resized 3 sizes down. We were told an estimate of 8 weeks. After 8 weeks we called to check on the status. We were told the ring the order wasn't properly placed, and the ring would need to be remade and we were given an estimate of 8 - 10 weeks.

11 weeks later, the ring came in, and was still too large. It needed to be sent in to get resized. We also picked out a wedding band knowing that the resizing seems to take some time. We were told it would be another 8 - 10 weeks. We were told we would be notified when either ring came in.

10 weeks later, we call to check on the status. The band was in. We never were notified. The engagement ring had a ship date of the next day, so it would be in within the next couple of days. We call a few days later and are told that the ring is going to be another 4 - 6 weeks.

At this point, we are beyond tired of waiting for the ring. I haven't had my ring for most of my engagement, and will not have it at my shower. Our wedding is in May, and at this point I am wondering if I will even have my ring before the wedding.

We asked the store for a return. I talked with a local jeweler who said they can make a ring for me within the next 4 weeks. Helzberg adamantly told us no, that we couldn't return the ring because it was purchased more than 30 days ago. We still don't even have it in our possession, yet we can't return it!

The managers at the store that we have been dealing with , Kristin and Ashley, have not been very understanding. Ashley at one point was talking to my fiance extremely disrespectfully and told him that there has been a study that 75% of brides do not like their rings, and he is just going to have to deal with it.

The issue is not the ring. The issue has been the service and the continued delays.

I tried contacting Helzberg through the website 2 weeks ago, and have received no response.

I tried their chat online, no one answered.

Word of warning, go far in advance of any special date you may need your jewelry by.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

Please shop around; helzberg diamond employees are extremely unfriendly and rude to the highest degree especially if you choose to not purchase anything. Watch out because if you do purchase and decide to get the care package (lifetime warranty) and/or go to ask questions that’s when the rudeness begin. Young lady that assisted me today was so rude I had to express my concerns to her and she brushed it off and stated Oh it’s just a Monday, I’m still trying to figure out what that mean; so does that mean to not come to your store on Monday because you will get treated poorly. All other jewerly stores I have ever come in contact with the staff are extremely friendly. I now see why there is only one Helzberg Diamond in the tidewater area. I will NEVER shop here again and will also advise all my friends and family to not shop here as well. This is a honest review; please take heed and shop where you can get good customer service; I wish I would have read the reviews before giving this company any of my money.

What a nightmare of an experience! Exhausted from chasing the product we paid for.

I’m extremely disappointed with Helzberg Diamonds. On 12/1/25, I paid $1,399.35 for 1.5ct white gold diamond earrings with a guaranteed delivery date of 12/9/25. By 12/15, there was no product, no tracking, and no communication, despite multiple follow-ups. To make matters worth, the same piece was discounted further to $999.

The order finally arrived on 12/19, but with no notice at all—the package was left on my doorstep without a signature or delivery confirmation. Leaving high-value jewelry unattended like this shows a serious lack of care and security.

Missed promises, poor communication, and unsafe delivery. We are still calling customer service and emailing to get a price adjustment with no response or an agent telling us that they will escalate to a ‘manager’. We’ve heard this for weeks and no one calls us back. I would not trust Helzberg with an important purchase. Missed the reveal date we originally planned for. Disappointing experience all around and still no communication from them.

Avoid Helzberg

I placed an order on December 8th and, clumsily, had selected the wrong shipping address. I immediately called to correct the order, but I was told the order had to be cancelled and I would have to place a brand new order. I now have two charges on my credit card. I was assured multiple times that a refund was being processed, but it has been 2 weeks and nothing. Not even an email follow up. Their hold times are egregious and I think they're betting I'll just give up. This isn't over.

They didn't accepted the return

They didn't accepted the return of a ring, not used, not resized because of 4 days. I really felt myself used, because I'm a frequent customer, always buying warranties, etc... and they couldn't help me one time with less expensive piece... They don't want to keep their customers. I'll never back to deal with them if they couldn't not accept this return. I was considering to change on a more expensive piece, but they don't like do deals, just getting money. I'm said and will continue buying jewelry, but with them, maybe not.

Buyer Beware.

Buyer Beware.
While shopping in the Rosemont, IL, store, I saw a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. I obviously didn't need them, but I was encouraged by the pricing, which was okay. They also offered free financing for 6 months, so I decided to splurge, which was the deciding factor, why not?
I received the billing information, set up the online account to make payments, waited until the billing cycle finally ended, and 18 days later, a $16.12 fee called a Promotional Plan fee was added to my bill.
I never agreed to a Promotional Plan Fee. I would not have bought them, or I would have paid in full using my Capital account for a 3% money-back return. I called the credit card company, talked to the representative, and offered to pay in full. Nope, too late, I still owe the fee. I spoke with her supervisor, and the same thing happened: I have to pay. I talked to Helzberg Customer Service rep, sorry, we can't verify the fee. I said I would send a picture of the proof. Sorry, I can't help; you must talk with the credit card company. My complaint was I was promised 6 months free, never informed of a charge by Helzberg, and no one takes responsibility or will reverse the charge, even if I pay in full. The customer loses, feeling scammed!

Horrible Helzberg's

Would prefer to give them a zero! Bought a ring that has been nothing but trouble. Got it approximately two years ago and it has to go in every six months or less. This came from the Portage, Michigan, store. This time I took it in March 19, 2025, and was promised April 9, 2025. Didn't happen. They are pretty snotty in the store and nastily told me they would text me when it's done. I contacted the customer service above them and stated the entire ring setting should have been replaced. As of today, April 16, 2025, I will be lucky if I get it back by the end of the summer. Do not shop there, ever!!

I visited the location at the Tanger…

I visited the location at the Tanger Outlet stores in Branson, MO. Everyone working there was amazing. I had quite a lengthy wait but Mike and Maria were constantly reassuring me that I would be helped soon. Typically, I wouldn't wait around but even the customers were friendly. I am really glad that I waited. Maria was amazing! Her sence of humor, patience, and knowledge were all a huge help. I actually hadn't planned on making a purchase that day but after our visit, she pretty much reassureed me that I was on the right path. I am very pleased with the purchase I made.

I had an awful experience with…

I had an awful experience with Helzberg. I returned rings following all the instructions they provided, only to later be told that they received a pair of Nike sneakers instead. That alone is completely absurd — why would I send sneakers to a jewelry store, especially ones that don’t even compare in value?

What makes this worse is that the return package I sent weighed only 1 lb. A box of sneakers weighs at least 2.5 to 3 lbs, so the weight alone proves that sneakers could not have been in the package. At this point, I truly believe the rings were either lost or stolen — possibly by someone handling the return at Helzberg.

This whole situation has left me frustrated and angry. I will never shop at Helzberg again and I’ll be warning others through reviews and word of mouth. Completely unacceptable.

Will Never Do Business With Helzbergs Again!

We had a gemstone reset in a new setting. The setting was only about $800 (labgrown tiny diamonds on a super thin band). They had to send it off to have the stone set in it. When asked about how much it would cost, they wouldn't give an answer. My husband said give me a ballpark. Is it going to be close to $200 or is it going to be $1000. The person still didn't give an answer, but said it wouldn't be $1000, closer to the $500 range, but still wouldn't commit to anything. When the ring came in, the charge for the new setting was closer to $1500. That is complete bullshit. I have since taken the ring to 2 other jewelers, who said it would have been about $400 to $500 for them to do prongs. That's all it was... just the new prongs to hold the stone! Helzbergs completely ripped us off. I will NEVER do business with them again. They should be ashamed of themselves. Looking at a ring that should have cost around $1,100, but ended up costing $2300 makes me completely sick. It was a stretch for us to the $1,100, to have to pay more than twice that puts a real strain on our lives. Thanks a lot Helzbergs for the additional stress!

10/10 Amazing Service

Friendly staff who understands customer service. Bought a Sterling silver necklace and the buckle in the back broke. Called down to the store since I live an hour away and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it for free!

I want to commend a sales associate at…

I want to commend a sales associate at the Orland Park location. Sandy McKay is not only friendly and professional, but she went above and beyond all of my experiences with Helzberg. She is an excellent employee and I pray Helzberg recognizes the gem they have in her.

Good Quality, Find the Employee for you.

Helzberg has always kind of been hit or miss for me. Sometimes it's a great experience, sometimes I regret even going. It all depends on who you get. I have two employees at my local store that I have been going to for years. My mother-in-law's engagement ring was bought from the same person that my husband brought it to, to have them resize it for me. She was great then, and now. When I come in for a cleaning and it's one of them, I usually leave with a gift for someone else. Sometimes I walk away swearing I wont be back for 6 months.

They also do like a custom jewelry fair sometimes, don't waste your time. Find a place that actually does custom work. Their options are very limited and it's not a truly custom experience. It's more, pick the ring, pick from these limited stones, POSSIBLY be able to add or change something. It took several tries to get my grandma's stones into a wedding band to go around my mother-in-law's marquise. I have also since lost 3 tines, and therefore 3 diamonds, so I had to ask them to beef them up a bit. the smallest knock would bend them in the beginning, I was constantly pushing them back into place (which didn't help).

But all in all, find that employee that is right for you and you'll have a better time.

I work for one of the top 100 companies, a luxury fashion e-commerce retailer, who prides on their customer service, whose customers rave of the customer service they received from the employees. I am a customer service manager for 10+ years who knows and also trains how a customer should be spoken to and treated. Never in my life, until today I have ever received horrific and appalling customer service. It was to the point I had to think twice what was just said to me!
Jonathan S. ID number 62192 at Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus NJ has treated me with such a demeanor that so was classless and tasteless I have ever received in my life as a customer. I am so appalled by the way I was treated today, December 11, 2019.  
Upon entering the store, an employee had took notice / recognize me and stated, "John, John, behind you". Jonathan proceeds to turn around with a smug smile on his face and said hi. I then stated, "Hi! I am going to return the necklaces and I am sorry for returning so late as I lost the receipt and now found it." Jonathan said, "sure" "WE ALL FIGURED YOU WERE GOING TO RETURN THIS" he took the receipt from my hand and proceed with the return and I can hear so faintly Jonathan talking to the women about me and the return.  He then threw the receipt on the counter, said "bye, bye" took the Helzberg bag and gift box and turn around. Needless to say, today was the most shell shocking experience I have received from the Helzberg team.

How dare an employee makes such a comment! How dare he talks about me to another employee when I am only a few inches away! How dare he throws the receipts on the counter without evening placing the receipt in my hand. Not a thank you for my business with Helzberg just a sarcastic "BYE, BYE" and walks away. 
To my understanding as what has been displayed today, is that your employees talk to their customers with tasteless service. The customers are talked about! especially when they are in the store. Whether if I have spent $ 1 or a million dollars I have should have never been treated this way at all for returning a necklace that was a gift to my husband he was not happy with the items I have chosen him. It should not matter when the items were returned as long it was in the return window of Helzberg's return policy. 
I will tell all my colleagues, friends and family about the service I have received at this store and no longer continue business with Helzberg! I rather go to Tiffany, Zales, and Jared where my business is welcome and I know I would not be judged if I decided to return an item that unsuitable for my husband. I feel like I have been discriminated against for making a return. I will be making a complaint to the FTC, Trustpilot, and the better business bureau. I tell everyone how Helzberg treats customers when they returning
I am beyond disgusted with the customer service I have received today. My husband and I will take our business elsewhere.
