Great service

MOT experience
Took my car for its MOT and a had a great experience with them. All very friendly and helpful and helped me with the problems that i had with my car. Would definitely recommend, great experience all round.

I have used HiQ Bell lane, Shrewsbury on several occasions because I am given good service. Problems are given proper investigation and solutions explained. Staff are friendly and helpful. I happily recommend them to friends.

Appointment booked but not fulfilled.
Appointment booked online for 0830-1200. Arrived at 0820 to be told the tyres were not in stock and would not be until 1400 that day. Customer service and empathy was Zero. Rude, unsympathetic staff member and no compromise or alternative/upgrade offered. Went straight to another tyre fitter and had tyres fitted immediately by friendly, helpful staff and at a lower price.

We’re sorry to hear about your recent experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. After a detailed investigation with the Centre, we have received the following response:
The Centre claim that although your tyres were ordered in advance, there was an unexpected delay which meant they would not arrive until 2pm instead of within your booked 8am–12pm slot. They believed you would be able to leave the vehicle with them until the tyres arrived, but understand that this was not acceptable for you, which led to the complaint.
They also acknowledge that they were aware of this delay the day before and accept that they should have contacted you in advance to explain the situation, something that may have prevented the inconvenience caused. Regarding the concerns raised about customer service and empathy, the Centre advise that there was no intention to be rude and apologise if their communication came across that way while explaining the circumstances.
The Centre have confirmed that feedback has been provided and improvements have been put in place to ensure customers are notified promptly of any delays in the future.
