Great store. Very helpful staff (b'ham)
They hadn't got the t shirt i wanted in store so the very helpful assistant ordered it online for me and i collected it a few days later.
They have some really good products and i usually end up buying something even when only having a look

How to increase sales!!
I love visiting the HMV stores in Birmingham, however, for a long time I've noticed an issue which I'd like to share with you that perhaps may increase sales.
It's great to see HMV stocking what are considered audiophile L.P's, for example the Tone Poet series, pressings by Acoustic Sounds and others. Usually these records are only available from specialist on-line stores or direct from the U.S.A. What I'm finding, particularly in the Bullring store, is that the sealed packages these albums come in have been opened. There's so many that are unsealed that I can't for the life of me think that some random customer is going into store and doing this. The premium price these records cost is partly based on them being sealed - i.e. no-one has had chance to get their greasy fingers on them.
If it is a store or organisation policy to open the seal may I recommend this stops. I'm sure you will see sales increase - certainly I won't purchase an unsealed copy of these albums.

Hmv in the Bullring
The assistant was friendly and helpful and I was served almost straight away and finished my purchase inside 2 minutes and then left.
Always happy to shop at hmv it's a much better experience than buying on line.
