They contacted me.
Placed an order in store. It was dispatched later than planned, I hadn’t noticed (luckily not needing it too soon). I received an email notifying me that they were aware, apologised and were looking into what had gone wrong as a matter of urgency. Received an email the next day saying it had been dispatched. I received my item a couple of days later.

Vinyl version of Kate Bush - Best of the Other side.
I needed to order a vinyl version of Kate Bush, Best of the Otherside as a Christmas gift. Everywhere was showing out of stock and not back in until January. On the off-chance I popped into the HMV store in Inverness and spoke to a chap who immediately went on the computer to find the vinyl (I had forgotten what it was called). He was so helpful and patient and was able to quickly reserve me a copy and ordered it to be delivered to my home within a few days. Perfect service. Many thanks to the Inverness branch 😊

Very pleasant staff in Inverness……Roy, I’ve dealt with him a few times and he’s always polite and knows what he’s doing.
Very pleasant staff in Inverness. I went in to collect my purchases and they were there as promised, all packed safely. I was out in about 3 minutes and very satisfied. Thank you.

Good old fashioned service
Such helpful staff, took the time to look for cd and then organised a postal delivery for me. Well done and thank you. Good old fashioned service rarely seen these days.

Went into store they were very helpful
Went into store they were very helpful, didn't have the vinyl i was looking for but where happy to order through the system and it came within a week.

Great delivery of Taylor Swifts new album, two day's early!
I was surprised to find that Taylor Swifts New album, the life of a showgirl, was not on the shelf in store!
Previously I had found Amy MacDonald's new album on the shelf several day's before it was due for release!
Staff however made me aware that I could order the Album from their warehouse stock and it would be posted to be by Wednesday of the following week.
The Album was delivered by the Post Office on the Monday, tweo days earlier that expected.
Thank you very much. what a great sound from my Hifi system as I proceeded to complete some work for my job.
