It is so much easier ordering a specific CD or DVD online and being able to collect from the Local HMV Store. Plus there is no added finance. The staff are always professional, courteous and polite

Not wheelchair friendly
Click and Collect is upstairs and staff won't bring your item down if you can't use the stairs, so you have to go out of the shop and use the shopping centre lift to get to the upstairs door. Fine, except that door is kept locked. No one downstairs let the upstairs staff know I was there, so I had to knock for several minutes. When the staff member opened the door, he seemed annoyed with me for being there when he wasn't warned. I asked why they didn't have a bell - apparently people would ring it too much. Right. Good to know how highly HMV values accessibility. I won't be shopping there again.

We were sorry to hear of your disappointment following your recent visit to our hmv Stockport store.
Please be advised that for customers who may be unable to access the upper floor, staff in store on the lower floor will always be available to retrieve items upon request. We would therefore recommend making yourself known to staff downstairs who will be happy to help.
We would like to assure you that we have forwarded your comments regarding access via the upstairs door to the store manager who will review your suggestions, but certainly would like to apologise again for the inconvenience this caused during your visit.

Martin was super friendly and helpful.

Excellent choice and customer service

Great… but
When I bought 3 for 66 they had the 66 pending but took the money separately too. Couldn’t afford the bus so got put on Andy burnhams watch list. Sorted now and albums were fine but still inconvenient

For all orders placed via card the total will be authorised upon purchase and each amount withdrawn as the items are dispatched. Your bank should clear the pending transaction once the funds have been taken.

So easy to order excellent service
It was so easy ordering the new concert film dvd and cd from Bring Me The Horizon.
The email communication was really good I knew when it had been despatched and when I could collect.
The staff were very helpful.
